Restaurant Owner
I have seen the exact descriptions of what I'm going to describe below in other forums, however there didn't seem to be any solutions to the problems. Problems: 1. My Sim owns a restaurant and I'm having a problem with the customers either not sitting after being shown their table by my hostess, or immediately leaving after being seated. My restaurant isn't earning money because of this, and the stats say 0 customers served. 2. Also, I see food being put on tables, but there are no sims seated at the table to eat. Or, food has been delivered to a table and the sims seated at that table immediately get up and leave without eating, and sometimes they grab their dish and drink and set them on the floor before leaving. I know the Sims 4 game and its packs have been out for a long time, but I'm fairly new to the restaurant pack. I'm playing on a Playstation 5 console. I would think that since I've researched these issues as far back as 2018, that some kind of fix would've been figured out by now. If someone could share what I may be doing wrong, or how to fix this annoying issue, that would be most appreciated. Thank you!
Game too glitchy to play
Since the last update, which I did just a couple of days ago, the game is super glitchy, like worse than normal. I started a new save for the reaper challenge. There are fishing spots in Sulani that my Sim can’t use. They can gather water at the sign but are blocked from fishing. When I travel in the game and return to my home lot, some things are missing from my house as if a kleptomaniac came by while I was gone. When I go to an event like the spice festival and try to return to my home lot, it loads my lot but leaves my SIM at the event site and I have no way of bringing them back to the lot nor do I have a way of going back to get them. I tried restarting my game and going back into that save and it loaded with my SIM on the event lot but when I clicked home , it took me home and left my Sim behind again. It’s like stuck. This happened occasionally before the update but I usually have a second SIM that I can just click on and then I can click on the missing SIM and say bring to this lot. I don’t even have that option here to click bring to current lot, and it’s a single SIM household. I really don’t want to add another SIM just because of a glitch. I am playing on a PS4 console. For me at this point, the game is so frustrating and completely unplayable, between the glitches and long load times, if it loads, and the random crashes. I really hate updates and have really spent way too much money on this game to fight with it like this every time I play.
Dear Sims Team
Dear The Sims Team, I am a console player who is passionate about the Sims 4 game. I have been playing the game for quite some time now and thoroughly enjoy it. However, recently I discovered that some players on older versions of the game were able to resize objects and place them in mid-air, but console players do not currently have access to this feature. I understand that game development and updates can be challenging, but I would like to request that the Sims team consider adding this feature to the console version of the game. I have also seen videos online from a year ago showcasing console players resizing objects and floating them in mid-air, which demonstrates that this feature was once available. I am curious as to why it was taken away from the console version of the game. And on top of this I would like to say that With the ability to resize objects and float them, PC players can add tiny details to their builds, like miniature appliances under the sink or hanging ornaments. This feature adds realism and immersion to the game, making it feel more lifelike. Console players, on the other hand, are limited in their creative possibilities when building or decorating. They don't have the same level of control over the size and placement of objects, which limits their ability to create detailed and realistic interiors. I truly believe this is unfair! I plead for you to add this feature back!
Dream Home Decor does NOT WORK
This is an issue for both console and Pc players. The dream home decor pack is getting worse and worse. For example the requirement says to add a bathroom being so and so squares. It doesn’t not show that you even built any room. Even though you clearly have. Therefore makes you have to forfeit the job and leave with a bad review. This has happened since the release of the pack forever ago. If your task is to build a whole new level to the house it doesn’t let you. Therefore having to forfeit the job as well. Another issue that was just recently started was the wants and likes do not match what is in your job icon below to the wants and likes that’s in build mode. Along with not being able to leave the house unless you cancel the job that is already done. It’s a hot mess of a pack. For a $20 pack I’ve never got to play the full play of the pack. Literally the only pack that gives me the most issues.
Sims4 (Playstaition4) sims not doing anything and getting stuck.
I have no mods because I am on a PS4. And I have like one or two packs, not the lovestruck pack, and now my sims are not responding to any of my commands and just standing around for hours. My game is unplayable. The EA support couldn't help. They offered for me to do the cheat box code, I had done that already and it hadn't worked multiple times. I'm about to ask them for a refund at this point because it's ridiculous. Does anyone have any solutions. Again I'm on a PS4 so what I'm able to do is limited. I have cleared all inventory, cleared the gallary, made sure to only have 1 save. And now it's just not working.
