Sims 4 Ps5 I can’t go up or down the stairs railings missing it’s stuck
I opened my save and I discovered I can’t go up stairs. I can’t toggle up or down with the controls button; nothing works. If I do go down to the basement to go back, I have to toggle r3 and it brings me to the ground floor, but I can’t go any higher. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the black photos bug affecting my save, but I went to another old save that wasn’t affected and the same applies; I can’t go up or down, not even just live mode in build mode too. I tried closing and going back in and nothing.Is it safe to place lots in a new save with blacked out photos?
I'm on PS4. I've got three saves going, and two separate saves had two builds I created that caught the 'black photo bug'. I hadn't been playing for a while, and I hadn't played in those builds, so I never got to save the photos beforehand. Anyways, I've been wanting to start a brand new save, and I wanted the two builds to be a part of the new save. I removed the photos and placed them in the Sims' inventory and was able to save the builds in my library. But I wanted to know if adding these builds (even with the photos deleted out of them) would corrupt my new save. Overall I kind of wanted to archive one save, then start the brand new save, so overall I'd just have two save files. On the one I'm archiving, I was not able to place these builds on lots. I'm assuming it was because of the photo bug (I posted this particular issue in the console bug section on this forum). Since I wasn't able to place them whole, I ended up saving the builds as rooms and piecing them back together on the lots I wanted, and that worked. But the main question is, am I safe to do this method on the new save, or is it safer to rebuild the households from scratch in the brand new save? I rarely build, so I dread having to redo them.
Event parameters not appearing
For the past few months ive noticed that if I plan an event (such as a dinner party or ranch animal day for example) when the event happens none of the parameters show up, making it impossible to get past a bronze level. Always on the move keeps being stuck in the corner of even though I’ve done the event multiple times, so I wonder if that’s what’s making the planned events steps not showing up?Sim not ageing up after blowing out candles!
Playing on PS5 with all updates. My young adult Sim is not ageing up after blowing out the candles on her birthday cake. I've tried different options e.g blowing out candles, make a wish etc. She gets the "Birthday (from birthday party)" moodlet, but doesn't actually age up at all. Obviously I can't cheat it with mods as I'm on PS5Scry for travel 🤔
Is anyone else dealing with this on console edition with life and death pack.. my sim is gearing up for going to field to reap and it says scry for travel.. I attempt it.. and my sim just stands there and then the rest of the time on the job I can’t go anywhere.. it’s literally bugged so I cannot attempt it again.. almost as if I already went but didn’t go.. hopefully someone can help me…
