Server Error uploading to gallery/library
This is the text in the error message: Server error. We could not process this gallery request. Please try again later. I tried uploading the image from my phone, but I can't get my laptop to do so. My pictures are black after I load back into my game on console. There is NO way to recover them other than loading a backup. Even if Maxis fixes the bug that they disappear you will not have them back as the information is just not there anymore. They should stay save that way although there are also mixed reports for those After you took pictures you really care about, save your game. To me it looks like that the pictures aren't properly saved to your game if you click save & Exit. Click save first, then exit without saving.
Endless Loading/Crashing when trying to load a certain lot (broken object(s))
Problem When trying to load a certain lot, the game either crashes or endlessly loads. This particular issue is tied to that building. It causes the same issue on any lot you place it on from the gallery and is tied to the furniture. It usually happens with lots that have objects placed with MoveObjects or T.O.O.L and are placed on top of each other. This issue has nothing to do with save game corruption. Determine if this is your issue KEEP BACKUPS OF YOUR SAVE GAME! The easiest way to determine if the lot you are trying has this issue is, to load it without furniture. Use the following techniques to do so You're trying to place a lot from the gallery that just crashes/endlessly loads: Place the lot unfurnished The lot is a residential lot: Either move a family in without furniture or move the family in the lot out with all the furniture. The lot is a commercial lot: Try to load it from the map in build mode (see below) and then change the lot type to residential and proceed as above. If the lot loads after doing this, then this is your issue. Suggestions for troubleshooting The process to find the object(s) that are causing the issue is really tedious and you need to make sure it's worth it. Maybe it's easiest to refurnish or use another lot. Try to load the lot in build mode. If that fails, load the lot next to it in build mode and pan around a bit (I have no idea why that seems to work, but it helped me getting crashing lots to load), then go back to the other lot. Once you loaded the house, change it to residential if it wasn't already and move someone in without furniture. Load the lot and check if that works. Take note on how the lot looks. Everything that's still there is not an issue if you were able to load the game that way. Save this under a new name. You might need to refer back to it. Go back to the save with furniture and try the loading again. This time just delete the house. You can grab it to move around and then delete it. Check again if the problem is gone. If not, the issue is outside, if so, the problem is the house (it could theoretically be both but for now assume it's not. To be sure, you can delete everything BUT the house and see if the problem still occurs). Once you know if it's the house or the outside, you can start searching. Outside: Delete one half of the lot, then test. Then test the other half. Then do half of the half until you find the object or object group. Depending on the amount of objects used, it could be easier to just delete a whole structure. Up to you. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots or Error Codes 800/801. This issue is not mod caused but it can be influenced by mods and cheats, especially if you create lots of Residential Rental units in your save game. Save Game Size. The issue usually typically happens on larger save games. There are a few factors that contribute to save game size that you can keep an eye on Lots of huge houses with lots of objects: Try to keep those down. Consider using empty houses for set decoration if you don't play certain lots but want houses to make it look nicer Photos Sims take ingame. Try to only keep the photos you really like and that contribute to your gameplay. Delete everything else. Photos take up a lot of space in the save. Lots of Sims. The game creates Sims at abundance. Delete the ones you don't use from time to time. Usually there's nothing you can do once it starts happening. When playing in Henford on Bagley, I noticed that every NPC that comes with the pack (The Grocer, the Mayor, The Garden Stall Owner, The Pub Keeper, and the Creature Keeper) were doubled. Two sims with the job title above their names were appearing around the world. Both sims offered the errands, meaning my sim could complete two rounds of every errand from every NPC. Some of the duplicates were copies of the original NPCs, for example, the mayor, Lavina Chropa, had two versions of Lavina, both listed as Mayor, and both offering the same errands and rewards. Other NPCs had randomized townie versions and the original townies in Cottage Living, for example, the grocer sims were the original Kim Goldbloom, and a randomized townie just with the job title and offering errands. No complication arose from this, it honestly just allowed my sim to do more of the errands, but it does break the immersion a little when every NPC has a twin or is a completely different sim half the time. Impossible to be connected to the online galery and share my sims/building stuff. It's also impossible to link the EA account to the game (I went in the game options "others" and even if I click on many times to link the account nothing works : no error message nor else. Just nothing as if I didn't click on. This is so annoying because I can't do challenge and share my creations. I'm playing on playstation 4. Please help ! ThanksEssential Glam bug
I just bought the new essential glam kit on my ps5. However, none of the items are showing in cas. I was trying to put it on my teen, but when it wouldn’t work I thought maybe it was only available for young adults and older, but it still doesn’t show up. It gives me the option to filter with that pack so I know the purchase worked, but it says no items are available.
