Ranch hand won't fire.
So I got the ranch hand and everything is great till my sim gets pregnant. Now they keep destroying the kids stuff and no matter how many times I fire them it won't stick! They don't leave, they keep destroying things and even stay all night so I can't extra fast time the night. PLS FIX seriously this is a nasty bug especially for a paid expansion. This is on PlayStation and is a constant across all households. Also sometimes happens to the nanny. Noticed February 2025 reported May 2025.

Fishing from the boat is still possible. [FR] Every tenant event successfully resolved is instead treated as a failure
I’ve done 4 landlord events and 3 of them have said I’ve failed to do anything and my unit rating has lowered even though I’ve done them. I’ve had one say I did it. No Woohoo
I updated my game yesterday with the latest patch for Sims 4. Just for reference I am playing on PS5 I don't have any mods or CC. All of a sudden none of my Sims in any of my worlds whether they're married or they're single or they're engaged have the option to woohoo. And at first I thought like oh if I restart my game that would work it did not work. I tried deleting my Sims and moving them into a new lot it did not work. I tried taking my Sims to a community lot to see if they would be able to woohoo there they are not able to. Also something weird was going on when I was trying to decorate my Sims homes I was unable to delete anything and I had to keep going out to live mode and coming back into build mode in order for me to be able to place things in certain places. I restarted my game and I left it off for a while and I turned it back on and the build mode live mode situation was fixed but my sim still cannot woohoo. I don't know who else is having this issue but this sucks
Long-Time Console Simmer Hoping for Help Moving to PC
Hi Sims Team, I’m turning 15 next month. I’ve been playing The Sims since I was 7 years old. I started with Sims Mobile, and when I lost everything after my phone died, I turned to The Sims 4 on console (specifically my PS4, which finally gave out two years ago). Almost six years later, I’ve yet to stop playing. This game means so much to me. It’s been there during my best moments and my worst. It’s a great escape from reality, and I love every aspect of it. I don’t use my PS5 for anything else—just The Sims 4. Over the years, I’ve saved money from birthdays, chores, and small jobs to buy every expansion, game, and stuff pack, along with over half of the kits. I even bought the base game three times: once after losing the original disc, again when I scratched the second one, and finally digitally. I’ve spent over a thousand dollars—money that took me a long time to earn because I don’t have a job and I’m still just a kid. But now, the game crashes constantly on console. It’s frustrating—and honestly heartbreaking—because I still want to play, but every time a build vanishes or a family resets, it makes me want to walk away. I want to move to PC, where it runs better and gives more freedom, but I can’t afford to buy all the content again. If I could, I probably would’ve already bought the new Business and Hobbies expansion. I know this is a long shot. I know there’s no official cross-platform support for packs. But I’m not asking for a whole system to change (although that’d help a lot of people). I’m just asking for help in my situation. I’ve been a loyal player since I was a little kid. I just want to keep playing the game I’ve grown up with—without losing everything I’ve worked so hard to get. If there’s any way to transfer my packs to PC, I would be so grateful. And I promise I’ll keep buying new packs for years if I can just start again without starting from scratch. Thank you for listening. I play on PS4. I really wanted to buy a expansion pack so I was waiting for a sale. I saw that the Plumbob celebration sale started May 1st on the EA App, so I jumped onto my console to buy the pack but the sale isn't showing up. None of the packs that were advertised to be on sale were on all on my PS4. I am wondering if this is just happening to me or if the sale isn't available on consoles at all, if so how do I find when the next console sale will be?fire but no fire?
I took my sim to the spa and got back to a notification about a fire, I searched the whole house and no fire was found. Some sims reacted in the living room, and furniture was being burned but no fire was actually happening, the fire service came but no one extinguished anything it just suddenly stopped. Sorry no photos of when it was actively “burning” (when it wasn’t) as I was focused on not having the house burned down but the aftermath is shown.
