Can't play chess with active Time Limited Events/Discovery Quest
Chess tables are unusable in the library - noticeable in Willow Creek library. When trying to use the chess tables (any style of chess table) my sim "does not have permission to use the chess table". I have replaced them and the same thing happens - yet chess table is a requirement of the Library plot type! This is PC windows Sims 4 game Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title
[JTB] Sims appear greyed out when arriving at Batuu
Since the new patch/update whenever I send my family to Batuu, they appear but you can’t play with them. They’re grayed out on the screen and they don’t appear with their Batuu attire. Can't drag food into the fridge anymore
Hello everyone, while I'm happy that I can drag things out of the fridge and into the bin again, I'm a little bit surprised that I can't drag food into the fridge. It doesn't matter which fridge I am placing down. It doesn't matter which Sim is selected. It doesn't matter which household I'm playing. It just doesn't work for me. Right after the latest bug fix it worked. But all of the sudden it doesn't. I'm playing on PlayStation. I have restarted the game. It's been happening for the last few days.
Houses/Lots Disappear
Issue The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots. This issue has been around since the very beginning so it’s not tied to any packs. This issue possibly has a lot of different causes and hence is hard to pinpoint. There more info you have, the better. Information to provide Your platform Mod usage (Never, Removed, Yes) This is important info, not mod blaming. Before and after save games. Genetically Created Teen Sims’ Interest Panel Does Not Populate in Sim Profile
I created 3 teen Sims using Play with Genetics on 3 Maxis-created households (Feng, Linh, and Kahananui). Each Sim was created directly as a Teen, with randomized traits and features (I rolled the dice till I found what I was looking for), then finalized in CAS, including fully setting their likes, dislikes, and interests. In Live Mode, when using social interactions such as: Get to Know Ask About Interests Ask About Hobbies and Skills The game correctly displays notifications like:“<Sim Name> has learned the following…” However, when opening the Sim Profile: The entire Preferences / Interests panel is missing No likes, dislikes, or interest icons appear The panel never populates, even after discovery interactions This persists after saving, reloading, traveling, and aging up. The Sims’ preferences are clearly present, as they react correctly to liked/disliked activities and receive appropriate moodlets. This suggests the issue is with Sim Profile initialization or discovery tracking, not preference logic itself. Fully Maxis-created Sims in the same save display the Preferences panel correctly. Additional Notes Platform: PS5 No mods or cheats Occurs only for Sims created via Play with Genetics → created directly as Teens Attaching image showing preferences set correctly in CAS Own all packs except Vampires, Werewolves and the last 3 current kits The sims in question are not Played Households, I play them as NPCs
Game crashes everytime I save PS5
Anytime my game loads or saves the game crashes. Makes my game literally unplayable. I just bought a new pack and I cant even play it. Please fix the issue. Ive submitted a bug report each time the game crashes. In the sims 4 facebook group people with Xbox are reporting the same thing.[CD] [EBN] Fairy can’t put my animals down
This only started happening after I got the enchanted by nature add on and became a fairy. I play on PS5 and when my fairy sim picks up my cat, she then can’t put her back down. It shows the can’t go anywhere Bubble and she just ends up carrying her around while doing other things so my cat is glitched into my arm. Currently the only way to fix this quick is to travel away and come back. Given that they pick up the animals a lot though, it can get irritating after a little to have to travel back and forth so much. This is a problem between the cats and dogs add on and the enchanted by nature add on. Edit By crinrict: Added pack tag to title.
