Your oponent has disconnected - Match Result Under Review - chronic problem
I have just had the worst case of a disconnect on PS5. I have had multiple errors with the opponent disconnecting - match result under review screen - and no award of a result. I am playing on PS5. i have played this lunchtime, had 3 disconnects, one draw and one loss (funnily it rarely disconnects when I am losing) In Rivals I have just had the disconnect after a 91st minute winning goal in a 4 - 3 win and the final whistle had gone (having just lost the previous game to a last minute goal with no disconnect). How can that be? The game is over so how can a disconnect matter? I have strong wifi so it cannot be my issue. This problem has been chronic for the last week or so. I've recently completed the last seasonal objectives and got my last sp points however when i went to the season pass to claim my last rewards it said "maximum hourly sp cap reached". Since i did much more objectives in one day and never experienced a cap this was weird. I went back to the objectives tab maybe i could claim the points again but no, they were already claimed. So what happened. I went on forums to see if anyone had the same issues and turns out that yes, and it's happening for months and customers service keeps telling to all of the people that this will be solved soon but they don't know a specific time and this is going on for months as I've seen over the internet. This happened to me last night. I also wrote a ticked in the first ticket they said the same i have to wait bla bla they don't know until when. The next ticket i specifically said i paid for those rewards i used real money to play the game. I was playing the demo and i like it so i used real money to play the full game and season pass is a part of the full game so i would like to receive my rewards i paid for. The second ticket i sent them i actually talked on the chat with the support and they said they can't help me i have to wait and then he closed my case saying "no fix available" . This scam from ea is going on forever i can see and they don't willing to help us until we take legal actions. I even talked to a third guy and said the second guy closed my case saying he doesn't have a solution and the third guy also said he is closing my case there is no fixing. I attached the proof of how corrupt EA is and their Indian scammer customer service Mr. Kunj and Mr.AkshayK . When players are eligible for pre contract discussions, at the right side of your screen it says "we can approach this player directly..." - because, indeed it's missing six months for the player to end his contract and he hasn't renewed yet - but it's not possible to enter negotiations directly with the player because at your left, in the screen, it shows the regular buy or loan menu. Take note: I wasn't trying to get a player too young; I wasn't playing with an English team trying to get a player from another English team; you can approach players at January, when the market reopens but, obviously, that rule isn't to be applied on approaching players to sign on a pre-contract; if that would be the case, which it isn't, then we couldn't get players out of contract during times when the transfer market is closed. This situation has been reported by multiple players who are, like me, big enthusiasts of the manager career mode, but, unfortunately, the facts are that you, EA, have been ignoring this issue. The facts are that we're in May, the season is almost over, you guys launched the game in October - 10 months ago - and you still haven't solved this bug. I even wonder if you ever cared about it since it's not as profitable as FUT, where kids waste their parents money to buy the best cards, to buy the EA pass, the Playstation pass. Career manager isn't about buying and buying and consumerism, so I suppose you simply don't care at all. 10 months without a response, without a solution, speaks for itself. We believe this choice is unnecessary, alienating, and ultimately detrimental to your player base. For years, many of us have honed our skills and developed muscle memory around Legacy Defending. It’s a system that makes sense to us, offering intuitive controls and responsive gameplay. Not everyone is seeking the hyper-competitive, esports-focused experience Tactical and Advanced Defending impose. For casual and even seasoned players who value enjoyment over rigidity, Legacy Defending was our preferred option. By removing it from online modes, you’ve forcefully restricted player choice, leaving many of us feeling alienated and unheard. The argument that Tactical Defending “levels the playing field” may apply in elite divisions, but not everyone is competing for global leaderboards. Many players simply want to enjoy the game their way, online or offline. EA Sports has always promoted the idea of “playing it your way”, but this decision directly contradicts that philosophy. Instead of limiting options, why not empower players to choose their preferred defending style in unranked online play or friendly matches, at the very least? We respectfully ask that you: Reintroduce Legacy Defending as an option in online modes, whether in friendlies, FUT, or seasons. Allow players to choose the experience that fits them best, respecting the diversity of your player base. No, I'm not playing with an English team. No, I'm not trying to hire a U-23 footballer. Now, the question is simple: there are several players in my list who are 6 months from ending contract with their clubs. On the right side of the menu, I have the "we should offer between X and Y to get this player" but the only options I have are the normal buy, loan, delegate. It's May. 10 months have passed since you launched the game. The game isn't cheap. 75€. Well, not cheap to me, because I don't have a rich daddy. Do something about it. This bug is seriously breaking Career Mode. When using more than one Youth Scout, all scouts DO return their reports, but: Only the first scout’s report can be viewed correctly. Opening the 2nd or 3rd scout report: Shows the players from the first scout again, or Displays a “null” message. This makes managing the Youth Academy unreliable and frustrating, especially in long-term saves. Expected behavior: Each Youth Scout report should display its own unique list of players. Actual behavior: Reports are duplicated or unreadable. Frequency: Happens every time or very frequently. Temporary workaround: Using only ONE scout at a time, which defeats the purpose of having multiple scouts. ⚠️ This is NOT a visual glitch. It’s a functional bug that directly affects Career Mode progression.
