the RB in QB road to glory is the dumbest thing on Earth
Hi EA Team, I’d like to report a serious issue with running back AI in Road to Glory when playing as a quarterback. When I hand the ball off to the RB, the AI consistently picks terrible running lanes, completely ignores open gaps, and often runs straight into defenders or blockers. It feels like the RB has no awareness of the field, making it nearly impossible to trust the ground game. This makes calling run plays as a QB extremely frustrating, especially when the blocking is solid but the RB chooses the worst possible direction every time. Please consider improving the RB decision-making logic in RTG — it really hurts the overall experience when the run game becomes unusable due to poor AI. This has been asked so, so, so many times but unsurprisingly silence from EA. Has anyone figured out why schools offer you the starting spot during last week in high school then you get there and are 4th string? Is this a bug or a glitch? Is it an actual feature?? Started Road to Glory, got the 2nd string qb at Michigan, now even with my coaches happiness full, good grades and getting gold medal in practice every week I have have yet to take a single snap in 3 seasons.. I bought this game to play football, not worry about someone being happy or grades, or only being able to practice, ruins the game. With superstar in Madden 26 even when you don't start your coach will put you in every few games at least... fix the game EAPresentation is sorely lacking.
Presentation needs A-L-O-T of work. I will focus in on Oklahoma as that is my preferred school but it needs work across the board.. First, OU TD celebrations at night need to include the lights going on and off like they do at LSU Alabama Ole Miss and others. This can be updated in the next update. If you can put tortillas in the crowd for Texas Tech, you can have cheerleaders, or at the very minimum, Boomer (the mascot) making an O and a U with his/their arms for OU. And what happened to the "OOOOOOOOO-U" chant during kickoffs? It was there at launch but not anymore. If NMSU, BC, KSU, Notre Dame, and other schools can get a pregame band formation at midfield, then why cant OU get the same as their band also does a midfield school logo formation. (See attachment 123918) You updated field graphics so why do you have OU using the same endzone art for conference and non-con games when IRL the endzone art is different (see attachment 124601 and 124543 red bg white letters-conf, red letters no bg-noncon). Why cant we choose which games to stripe our stadium for? And where are the "Boomer" and "Sooner" crowd chants? And before you try the "authentic experience" argument, it is moot because I have never seen OU horizontally stripe the stadium, but you made sure to add it in the game. .Now to pan out to the rest of the game. Why cant we delete coach profiles from the trophy room when they are no longer active? I have 6 coaches who were created simply for testing purposes and now they are all just there permanently and they are eyesores. Are Mr Brightside, Welcome to the Jungle, Sandstorm and Enter Sandman the only songs you have rights to? If so, why? This game is a multi-billion-dollar game. I think you can get the rights to a few more songs. Oh, and why aren't those songs available on the tracklist at the main menu? Why do you only have 16 school fight songs available? Why not make all the songs available? Or at least the big ones like the four i just listed. The songs you currently have are some of the most unpopular and rarely-used school songs in the game. Come on EA, you can do better than this. And you don't need to wait until next year's game. You have already showed that you can update Mascots, field art, chants and music, so there is nothing discussed here you cant fix in the next title update. This is an across-the-board area that is being neglected so bad its almost criminal.My team won’t kick the game-winning FG in RTG
Multiple times in RTG during a tie game in the 4th quarter, I’ve led my team on a drive down to a spot where they can easily kick the game-winning FG, but they won’t do it. I get subbed out when there’s about 12 or less seconds left on the game clock, doesn’t matter what down it is. So I’m assuming the computer is prepping to kick the FG, right? Nope. Next thing I know, I’m in overtime. Did the kicker miss the FG? Nope. I check the stats and he hasn’t even attempted another FG. The only way I’ve found that the computer will kick it is if I quickly call a timeout with less than 12 seconds immediately after a play ends, but I don’t always have enough time to do it before the animation of me being subbed off. And it shouldn’t be on the player to have to call the timeout. This was an issue in CFB25 too and I was really hoping they’d fix it for 26. EA, can you please do something about this?
