the RB in QB road to glory is the dumbest thing on Earth

Hi EA Team,

I’d like to report a serious issue with running back AI in Road to Glory when playing as a quarterback.

When I hand the ball off to the RB, the AI consistently picks terrible running lanes, completely ignores open gaps, and often runs straight into defenders or blockers. It feels like the RB has no awareness of the field, making it nearly impossible to trust the ground game.

This makes calling run plays as a QB extremely frustrating, especially when the blocking is solid but the RB chooses the worst possible direction every time.

Please consider improving the RB decision-making logic in RTG — it really hurts the overall experience when the run game becomes unusable due to poor AI.

Thanks,

One of your customers who paid for the game🫠🥴

P.S. I’m still waiting for the High School fix😬

  • Thank you! I rage constantly cause there will be room in the middle and runs outside towards defenders. Every. Single. Time. I feel the run game is broke on this game and your receivers catching as well. Why aggressive catch every time?

I just said F it and turn up my run blocking sliders ( The RB still will miss lanes ), and turned down Speed threshold so my WRs could actually get open. Seems fair considering everything against the player.

  • Came here JUST for this. Currently playing RTG as a QB, and I couldn’t agree more, the running backs are FU*KING BRAINDEAD. This is completely unacceptable. Fix your broken **bleep** AI, EA.

  • Agreed. I have just quit playing RTG cause running backs love to go for the line. Its cost me moments in high schools, cost me games because the coach trust wasnt high enough yet to choose plays, and costs me qb battles because running backs always go for the defense. It hurts me to know I've spent almost 100 bucks on this trash. 25 had its problems but at least it was playable you just had to tackle twice in the endzone to get a safety and sometimes couldn't cross the line of scrimmage on defense but Jesus.
