URGENT: Content Creator's GW2 Account Sabotaged by "Level 46" Hack. Help!
My Garden Warfare 2 account was subjected to a targeted hack that has left me unable to access multiplayer. Starting around 23:50 Beijing Time on the 27th and continuing for about two hours until the end of my livestream, I returned from a multiplayer match to the Backyard only to find all my character levels had been abnormally reset to "46." Additionally, two unauthorized "313 Level Reward Sticker Packs" appeared in my Sticker Shop. Since then, I've been completely locked out of multiplayer. During the session, I initially played on Asian servers but encountered a "lobby switcher" hack in the very first match (as seen in my stream recording BV1R4sSz5EaG). I then switched to the West Americas servers, where I played for about an hour and a half without noticeable issues—until returning to the Backyard around 01:16 Beijing Time on the 28th, when the damage became apparent. The "Level 46" reset is a known unofficial method used by hackers as a form of retaliation or "account blocking," previously observed in community-led anti-cheat efforts. It is extremely unfortunate that I have now become a target of this malicious act. If we choose to look away today, when disaster strikes us tomorrow, there will be no one left to speak up for us. [Resolved] Change the Mystery Portal Rotation, Please!
There are multiple achievements that are unobtainable at the moment (Check this post for more information about them) There are 5 achievements tied to game modes you cannot play anymore. How you used to play these game modes is when they would go live in the Town Hall Mystery Portal for a limited time. In January back in 2020, the Mystery Portal was changed. PopCap stopped supporting Garden Warfare 2 to continue development on Battle for Neighborville. To avoid shutting down the Mystery Portal, they made the Mystery Portal automated by making it rotate game modes based off of a list of what to play dependent on what month. The problem with this rotation is that they didn't include any live event game modes that have achievements tied to them. So at the moment, getting all GW2 achievements is actually impossible. Current Rotation: - January: Lawn-A-Thon 1 - Febuary: Lawn-A-Thon 2 - March: Legends of the Brawl - April: Capture the Taco - May: Tactical Team Up - June: To Heal or Not - July: Rando's Rapid Revenge - August: Lawn-A-Thon 1 - September: Lawn-A-Thon 2 - October: Legends of the Brawl - November: To Heal or Not - December: Rando's Rapid revenge In my opinion, the most favorable option would be getting someone from the community to make a schedule everyone is happy with. A different solution that's automated, and easier to do would be exchanging some of the game mode repeats in the list for game modes like Cats vs. Dinos and Boss Hunt. For example, you can replace the repeated August Lawn-A-Thon 1 with Cats vs. Dinos, and September's Lawn-A-Thon 2 with Boss Hunt. All of the content with these game modes are in the game when you download it, so releasing an update that players need to download wouldn't be necessary. The only problem I see with this is that Boss Hunt has 4 different playable hunts, Brothers Gnomus, Yeti King, Spooky Squash, and Sasquatch. You would have to pick one of these to put into the rotation, but I think implementing a system that makes the game randomly pick one of them when you enter the portal to play is the best choice instead of picking 1 and neglecting the other 3.
GW2 on PC is completely unplayable
The title explains the problem. Some internet sleuths found out that the 10th anniversary drew the attention of a hacker who created a [Edit - CM] mod to completely break the game and make it unplayable. Every single lobby has the same wonky settings (like invisible players and 1hp) and the lag gets out of control to the point that the game crashes. It's not just the North American servers either, every single region has this issue. It has been like this over 24 hours now. The fact that this person was able to do this, and the fact that it has been 24 hours of radio silence from EA just further invites hackers to come take shots at the game on PC. It's just embarrassing all around that EA is currently having their servers held hostage on one of their games (a game that they have available to play for free via EA plus and Xbox Game Pass, so it's not like this can be kept hush hush). And yes, I understand that when a developer makes another game with dedicated servers in a franchise the vast majority of resources goes to that game (looking at you, Neighborville) but still... no server support? None?
Level 46 Hacked
I have been playing GW2 since it came out and am getting close to max rank then all of a sudden i loaded up GW2 today after playing last night and someone hacked my account and set all my characters to level 46. Please someone help i love this game and wanna play it and really dont want to loose my account.

Przeglądałem sklep EA i nie znalazłem żadnej oferty, która umożliwia zakup legendarnego wariantu postaci doktora: Computer Scientist/Informatyk. Gdy byłem dzieckiem grałem w tą grę od wyjścia i posiadałem w niej ponad 500 godzin co umożliwiło mi zdobycie tej postaci. Aktualnie nie mam czasu na to aby zdobyć tą postać za to mam chęć i środki do tego aby ją kupić. Gorąco proszę o to aby dodać możliwość zakupu owej postaci, lub ręcznie dodać mi ją na moje konto za pieniądze lub za darmo. Jedyne na czym mi zależy to zdobycie tej postaci i jest to moje marzenie. 🤧
PvZ GW2 on PC once again unplayable due to influx of hackers
As some of you are aware, Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 just turned 10 years old. The celebration that happened yesterday ended up attracting the attention of many hackers on the PC platform, who had made it so that every lobby was unplayable (everyone in the lobby would have 1hp and be invisible). This effectively made multiplayer not an option for anyone playing on PC and locked a major portion of the content of the game away. Multiple people have also gotten outright “banned” due to a leveling exploit applied to someone’s EA account that has been previously done before. It is not known exactly how this is done on such a scale like this, but it overall has ruined the PC platform’s experience as we know it. Popcap Vancouver is no longer in service, this I know. They don’t have the team they did before to be able to uphold the game to the degree they did before. But at the same time, PvZ GW2 is a game that is still sold, still offered as a functioning product, and still enjoyed by thousands. EA, something, anything, needs to be done about this.

Plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 desperately needs a skeleton crew to handel anti cheat, mystery portal, balancing, ect. I have played since the game released and it has become clear something needs to be done because the game is a minefield on pc due to hackers. And there are things missing such as game modes from the mystery portal makeing certain achievements impossible. Buenas tardes ya ahí muchas quejas sobre el juego sobre el nivel 5-4 tejado cuando dan la regadera y entras al jardín Zen no se puede avanzar de esa esena por más que se le dé al botón que indica para continuar no avanza y no se pueden jugar modos de historia o día nublado es realmente triste como nos pasa a todos los que lo jugamos ya leei varias quejas y ustedes no responde ni siquiera nos dicen que ya estan tratando de arreglarlo realmente son una empresa genial pero para tener este error durante días me pasa no puedo avanzar ni disfrutar mas jugando el juego como a otras personas que les pasa, nos falta desbloquear plantas modos y Cosas esenciales del juego por ese bug ahí les dejo un video para que vean exacto qué pasa Gracias saludos
