Unable to change soldier appearance during a match.
Sometimes when I'm starting/joining a match and go to change my soldier skin, the appearances are that of the opposite faction. This means that I cannot change my current faction skins unless I quit the match. (Example: Seeing NATO skins despite me being on Pax Armata). I can change the skin, but it obviously doesn't affect me since I'm on the opposite faction. This only happens rarely (this is my second time encountering it), and I don't know what the conditions are for triggering/replicating it, so it's up to you guys.0Views0likes0CommentsRedsec solos/duos rotation
For me, this decision is absolutely unacceptable. My friend and I have been playing Redsec Duos together since the very beginning, and we've really enjoyed the game despite the fact that it's one big bug-fest. The decision that we'll be able to play one week but not the next is a huge disappointment, and because of that I'm quitting the game. Good luck with this stupid idea...313Views8likes8CommentsBlatant Cheaters in Redsec
Posting names of cheaters using very obvious aimbot. Please ban these players immediately as the longer they get away with this, the more this game will fall. Another player also ran into these two and streamed them cheating in Redsec. Please address this as soon as possible because we love this game, but the cheaters are killing it for the majority of honest players. Is anyone else playing Redsec Ranked and experiencing this issue? When a match ends, I don’t receive the points I should earn. Instead, I seem to lose the entry fee. The points from my kills and assists aren’t being added either, so I end up losing points overall. Is this a known bug, or is anyone else having the same problem? It’s honestly unbelievable that we are now deep into Season 3 and many of the biggest Battlefield 6 issues are STILL here — some of them dating all the way back to Season 1 and even launch week. This is not about “small glitches” anymore. These are gameplay-breaking problems affecting gunfights, matchmaking, performance, networking, and overall game stability. The community has been reporting the same issues for months, yet every new update somehow introduces even more problems instead of fixing the old ones. Here’s what players are STILL experiencing in Season 3: Broken hit registration Delayed damage and desync Rubberbanding Packet burst feeling Random ping spikes Matchmaking putting players into high-latency servers Massive frame-time spikes and stuttering Inconsistent recoil and aiming responsiveness UI bugs that survive multiple patches Visual glitches making maps literally unplayable Ranked mode launching with known bugs And the worst part? A lot of players have perfectly stable internet, high FPS, strong PCs, and STILL get terrible gameplay quality because the issue is clearly server-side or netcode-related. Community reports repeatedly show that official servers feel dramatically worse than community-hosted experiences. Even EA Forum posts are filled with complaints about: broken HUD ping indicators, severe lag after the Season 3 update, FPS instability, missing UI elements, persistent unlock notifications, and visual bugs that completely blind players on certain maps. Meanwhile, DICE openly launched Ranked Battle Royale with a list of “known issues” already acknowledged on day one. The Battlefield community has supported this franchise for years because when Battlefield works, it’s one of the best FPS experiences on the market. But right now it feels like players are being used as beta testers every single season. How does a company the size of Electronic Arts and DICE still struggle with: basic server stability, functioning hit registration, proper matchmaking routing, and performance consistency months after launch? Players should not need VPNs, routing workarounds, FPS caps, or third-party fixes just to make the game feel playable. The community is tired of hearing: “We are investigating.” We want actual fixes. Season 3 should have been about improving the game. Instead, many players feel like the technical state is worse than before. Battlefield deserves better. And honestly, so do the players paying for it. (cm edit updated title for vis)Solved1.3KViews11likes155CommentsRanked matchmaking
Why is it, that I can’t play with friends whose rank differs from mine by two tiers, but still get random rookies to burden me? Why are there ranks, if they don’t use it? I am a platinum, I want at least gold teammates, I am neither a teacher, nor want to carry the game for a bunch of beginners, who happen to think, that the best place for them, at level 10, is in the ONLY competitive game mode. And the same goes for the enemies. I am not capable of dealing with the top 250 players, get them the f out of my lobby!down go the ratings
lol atleast the other week you had the game mode trial going when you ran the solos and took the duos off, watch you ratings drop this week buddy!!!!!!!!! the redsec side only has quads and solos this week........well i sure wont be playing this week at all, BF 6 ratings will go straight in the gutter this week. might as well go ahead and buy the tombstone now.Gun Randomly fires single time with Controller
While actively playing (happens on redsec, portal, firing range), my gun randomly fires a single bullet. I am not pressing the trigger nor do i have custom bindings. I have tried different controllers which does the same thing. I have monitored joy.cpl and haven't seen any unusual activity in the trigger. I have reset all my controller settings. I have gotten this issue to occur just be walking forward only holding left joystick, but cant consistently replicate it. I have reset steam controller settings, updated drivers. I have disabled "flick" settings. I have completely unplugged my mouse and keyboard. I have changed my trigger sensitivity. Nothing seems to work, except when I play Mouse and Keyboard i do not have this issue. I believe this is a bug introduced in the update that happened either 6/17 or 6/18 (can't remember the exact date i had an update). Running via Steam Current version: 1.3.2.0 code: 28,353,823 Controller types tried: Vader 3 Pro, Microsoft Pro Controller44Views0likes2CommentsZA REDSEC BR uses UK/EU servers while other modes use ZA
Region: South Africa / Cape Town Mode affected: REDSEC Battle Royale only All nprmal Battlefield 6 modes connect me to South African servers with low ping. REDSEC Gauntlet also connects me to South African servers. Only REDSEC Battle Royale consistently places me on UK/EU servers at high ping. This does not appear to be an ISP routing issue because other BF6/REDSEC modes correctly use local ZA servers. It looks like REDSEC BR matchmaking is expanding region too aggressively or prioritising fast match creation over ping/local region. I would rather wait longer for a local South African BR lobby than be forced into UK/EU. Please investigate ZA/South Africa REDSEC Battle Royale matchmaking and server allocation.68Views3likes4CommentsGame Crashes in REDSEC Ranked
Game crashes consistently with the DirectX error. I have lost over 600 RP in the past 4 days trying to fix this issue. The game will load up and I will start a game of Ranked REDSEC. I will choose my class and the second the match shows us above the helicopter before we drop, it crashes. I have done everything suggested from EA Forums, Steam, Youtube, Google, ChatGPT, and even Reddit. I also reached out to Microcenter to find a solution with no luck. I have reinstalled BF6, verified game files, reinstalled drivers, changed BF6 settings, changed, PC settings, underclocked my PC, changed performance settings, graphics settings, changed NVIDIA App settings... Nothing works.
