A Trading Thread: Investments, Flips, and big Scores!
Hello All! We're trying to bring back some of the more social aspects of the old forums. We always had threads related to trading that sparked conversation about what folks were investing in, or potential flips, or the good old lazy buyer method (not as good as it used to be but it does still work!). Oh yeah, how could I forget. . .the Bronze Pack Method, oh the good old days! Leaks play a huge part in trading unfortunately and if you don't get the info before everyone else you are often late to the show. . .so what I try to do is think ahead of the leaks. Currently, I'm investing in Gold Messi; now that we're seeing 88 max req EVOS, we should get something Messi fits in that hopefully boosts his speed and adds some CAM roles. If an EVO hits and he's a main man, I should double my coins! Bought him at 12k, will sell at his max of 24k . . . or if he's that desired, maybe they increase his range due to none being on the market, only time will tell if this is a good one! One of my other wins this year was buying lots of 90 and 91 rated cards at when they bottomed out and as SBCs with higher requirements have been consistent they've jumped in price! I bought when they were around 18k and sold at 35k! I made about 800k in coins from this and ripped two Icon guarantee packs from the store and packed really crappy Icons :(. When I finished the Toty blueprint evolution, I didn't received the Finesse shot +, one of the reasons I decided to spend my money (3 playstyles). It wouldn't affect me if the evo isn't 500k coins, but now I feel like being robbed. Watch out if you are all going to spend 500k on the evo!
Pricing Glitch
After completing an SBC and then trying to go sell any item, the price stays locked at 99 coins… this literally happens every single time. Have to log out of UT and then log back in… sometimes even closing the game completely if the R2/FC Network issue glitch happens when logging back in… Honestly, I used to love this series… despite all the random glitches. Because the menu grind was worth it. This year is sucks… glitch after glitch… menu pack weight is at the all time worse… I mean two Future Stars after opening like 400+ menu packs.. last year I would have had nearly the entire team by now. 2000 packs open during TOTY and one single Musiala HM… the lack of the exchanges makes the grind even more unbearable. I’ve been playing this game since FIFA 14, and honestly I don’t think I will buy the next iteration. Your focus on forcing store packs for the better cards is appalling. The constant glitches and lack of menu grind.. along with the gameplay that is “like a box of chocolates”… you never know what you’re going to get.. For a series that has been around for this long, this stuff should NOT be happening… but it does and gets progressively worse… it’s evident that you hate your fans, the community, and the beautiful game itself… Rant over…transfer market
Hi, I've been a long time players of Fifa/FC. I recently only skipped FC 25 because I was sick of the terrible gameplay - this year it looked like you guys finally got your act together and I was keen to come back, and ordered the ultimate edition. Now, I pre ordered the ultimate edition through steam, I did this so I can get the advantage of being ahead of others, making some investments through the transfer market, etc. What I didn't expect is to have the transfer market locked....I was extremely annoyed to say the least. It took me a day to get through all of objectives to unlock the transfer market, only to be met with another 48 hour restriction upon unlocking it!? This is ridiculous. So not only am I unable to spend my coins on players to improve my team, I can't even make crucial early game investments which is why most people by the ultimate edition to begin with. So im technically 3 days behind other people that pre ordered the exact same thing as me, all because I didn't play FC 25!? This "Fine Print" is nowhere to be seen on the pre order details on steam, nothing that says "If you didnt play FC 25 you will be restricted on the transfer market through objectives and a 48 hour restriction". This is utterly ridiculous. You realise you would have a ton of returning players that skipped FC 25, decided to come back, and are hit with this!? You are going to lose players again. I even contacted support, his screen name was "JV" nice guy, but he couldnt do anything and even sympathized to this issue. So, there's no fine print about this in the pre order information, im behind 3 days now compared to everyone else, my account is not a new one, im not a bot. I genuinely deserve compensation for this, in the form of a refund or compensation of some sort on ultimate team for how much this has put me behind everyone else. Please response EA.
