Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today. I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here. So what's happened in your game today? Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!). Do you ever capture pictures from fun or awkward situations in your game? Often my sims will make me smile just because they did position weirdly, making a totally normal situation look funny. - Hello again, Hairdresser, I got a complaint! [b]Welcome to BNS 185: Let's Play[/b] (Note: This is the long-delayed follow-up to BNS 180: Let it Snow, which introduced the elves and their quest to learn to build better doll houses and superhero lairs). You stretch out on your couch after a long weekend in the North Pole. You have really enjoyed your time teaching the elves about different types of architectural designs, but it has been a bit exhausting as well. You just wrapped up the teaching part of the job, and you’re pleased with the progress the elves have made. You have given them their "exam" requirements to build either a dollhouse or action figure/super hero lair using the techniques you have taught them. Now you have a whole month to relax before you have to go back to help "judge" their projects and offer final suggestions to the elves. The Brief: -the budget is $250,000 (this includes the lot cost). -the doll house or lair must have an "open" side, just like a real toy. -keep in mind that a "child" must be able to reach in and play in every room or space you create. -it should be at least two stories high with a staircase or ladder as well as a bathroom. -it should have at least 6 different rooms/spaces to play in. -don't forget to landscape. The Sim Challenge: -create a family or group of superheroes/action figures with at least 4 sims. -you can pick all traits, likes, dislikes, and other details. -show them enjoying the house or lair. The Room Challenge: -create a bathroom. -budget is $10,000. Remember to include the hashtag #bns185 with your build or it will not be judged! Somehow there was an old thread that existed on the site, but it seemed to get removed for some unknown reason. I thought that we should make up another funny thread - post your game-glitching screenshots here! One of my funny glitches was a teenage sim stretching! (This was from Bug Reports but I decided to bring it over here xd) so as of this update, i managed to delete a mod that was messing up my manage household section in the world editor; however, when i returned to gameplay thinking it would be back to normal, turns out that my RELATIONSHIPS (with sims, not animals) are still MISSING (as in gone) [in terms of the nerfed relationships, i should've said that the townie sims i've interacted with still chat as normal; it's just that the relationship status isn't showing up in the relationship panel/display.] obviously this has something to do with my mods. however, i managed to update and remove those i suspected that fricked up my gameplay. i also do have better exceptions (by twistedmexi btw, shoutout to em 🙏) that helped me check my gameplay UI; (the mods are tmex better-build-buy, UI cheats and a loading screen cc) Hence, afterwards I did delete those mods (NO HATE TOWARDS TWISTEDMEXI BTW) unfortunately, literally after i deleted them and when i got back to the game, the relationship category/panels are still **bleep**, especially when checking my social bunny (HSY EP) [side note p.s.] the only latest update i got from the xml injector is the one from 2022, is there a 2024 version? no matter how much i repair my game, the same bug still shows up. and i did read the outdated mod list thingy as of 1.109, but i almost don't have any of the mods listed there. should i keep troubleshooting my mods, or is there another fix ?
