Can't start game
my game has refused to entirely open for quite a while now. Every time I try to open the game it'll send me to a white screen then after a second or two I'll be sent to either the Steam home page or the EA home page. This started after the Halloween update and I spent nearly two weeks attempting different things to fix it. Especially the Uninstall and Reinstall technique. It hasn't worked at all. I had tried removing my CC and putting either steam or the EA app as administrators. Nothing had worked. Now nearly a month later, I decided to reinstall it to see if things have changed. It didn't. I have no idea if it's my laptop itself causing the issues or if it's just the game that's bugging out. Can I get some advice on what to do? I can't open the game
A few days ago, I started playing on a new world and have been consistently adding custom content. Up until now, I hadn't had any issues, but today, after downloading some new CC, I tried to open the game and it wouldn't launch. There's no error message or anything, it simply doesn't open. I've tried several things like restarting my PC, removing the CC to see if that was the issue, restoring the game files through the EA app, and even making a backup and uninstalling the app to reinstall it, but it still doesn't work. I've looked for solutions but nothing has worked so far. Please, can someone help me? I'm afraid I might lose my save data and the mods/CC I've downloaded 😢 (Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm a Spanish speaker, so I'm trying to translate this using Google)
Unable To See Through Walls (Despite "Cutaway") Being Enabled
So my issue consists of three bugs: First being I am unable to see through my home's walls (In live mode specifically, not sure if this affects other modes). Second bug is that the sim is no longer able to walk inside house. Third and final bug I believe: Is the fact that it is impossible to change floors, despite being on the correct level, this seems to persist despite the game being reloaded (The Highest-most floor is the only visible floor of the house in Live mode). Any help with this would be much appreciated, thanks again, especially as this is a rather game-breaking bug 😀. An estimated time expected on a fix for this issue in particularly may be helpful although not expected.Can't get online
Okay, I don't know what's going on. I downloaded the game through Steam as that's my preferred platform. Whenever I try to open Sims I get the option to start online or start offline when I click online I get this to show up: What the heck am I meant to do??? None of the '"remid" cookies' actually work and I have no idea how else to go online. Anyone know what to do?
Bugged "Pamper on Couch" Interaction (Pets Expansion Pack)
Not sure if this happened to anyone, but just now, I tried pampering the pets in my household and it glitched. What happened: - Most, if not all of the interaction, there was no animation trigger. All they did was acknowledge each other from time to time with their head positions, but they remained stiff as a statue. - Both pets were in different comforts (a couch and a loveseat) that were next, but not connected to each other. When the sim in question tried to interact, he glitched from one seat to another. Hopefully it was a one time occurence, but I'll remain vigilant if it happens again.
Sims 4 Crashing on Launch
This started about a week ago. No matter where I launch Sims from (Steam, EA, Desktop), the screen flashes black and white and then I get stuck on a white screen. I have over 600 hours of this game with no issues. I have tried: Resetting my PC, uninstalling/reinstalling Sims, installing just the base game with no DLC, Restoring my laptop to factory settings, clearing the EA cache, clearing the Steam cache, downloaded the latest NVIDIA driver, turned off cloud backup, moved sims to desktop, removed any and all mods, verified gaming files through Steam. I'm on a Victus laptop, intel core i7 13700HX, Windows 11 10.0.22631, Driver: Game Ready Driver Version 566.14 I'm not very well versed in computers so please help
Laundry Day Stuff Pack Not Showing
At some point earlier this year, I added TS4 to my husband’s Steam account from EA so I could play on his computer. I’ve since gotten my own PC setup and redownloaded TS4 using the EA app. Every pack is visible and playable except for Laundry Day, and it’s driving me mad. It says it is purchased but I must have bought it through Steam and it can’t be transferred back over to EA? Is this the case?? Can I seriously not play it unless I’m on Steam? Because now I have bought MORE expansions through EA and its just a mess. My immersion is ruined without a functioning laundry room in my house builds ;-; I am seriously willing to pay for the pack through EA if it would let me but I’m afraid to try and have it waste my money if it doesn’t work… Can anyone help with this? I’ve tried reading up on it but nothing has helped or was for a different console outside of PC.
