my game has a texture issue i think?
I opened my game recently and I noticed most of my base game items have red and white boxes with question marks and some textures have blue and red boxes with green question marks. I had uninstalled and reinstalled the game already once and this did not solve the issue, also factory reset and it didn't resolve. I can't play the game as the texture issue makes some parts lag and crash my game. I have no clue what it is corrupted on, I had mods and I have removed them from my game as well and that was not the issue it seems. I'm just confused about what to do. *i installed the game from steam
Time for a new C&C Remaster
Hello EA Games and hello fellow C&C fans! The C&C Remastered Collection was a success for EA, both loved by gamers and also sold very well. Just this year C&C The Ultimate Collection went live on Steam and immediately got into the top 20 most popular steam titles where it held for like a month EA's surprise megadump of classic Command & Conquer games means Europe's March game sales were dominated by 25-year-old RTSes, beating WWE 2K24 and Nintendo (article by PC Gamer) It's been 4 years and complete radio silence from EA on the future of C&C as a real RTS game on PC and console, where the series belongs, no offense to mobile gamers. The demand for say a second remastered collection with Red Alert 2, Tiberian Sun or Generals or who knows maybe a completely new title is there and it's real. People on the C&C communities in Reddit and Facebook still ask about it regularly although they're beginning to doubt if we'll ever see something. The release of C&C Ultimate Collection on Steam this March and the huge success it was made fans hopeful that this actually means EA has not forgotten about the series and was planning to do something with it. The guys at Petroglyph and Lemon Sky who did the first remasters have said they're willing to do it again, the community wants it, the games sell well, what more is needed? We're eagerly awaiting to hear back from EA Games as we always have been throughout the years. Windenburg The Crumbling Isle Keeps Freezenig
Hello. Since the last update I found that in Windenburg I cannot build or even visit The Crumbling Isle neighborhood. If I try the game freezes while loading and I have to end it in task manager. First it happend on my most played save, when I tried build on one lot, then I tried others with same results. Then I tried new save and it freezes again, when I tried to build or visit. I tried build on lots in others neighborhoods (one in each) without a problem. dxdiag attached
Can't Have Grim Reaper's Baby (Life and Death)
I've tried to use the "Try for Baby" interaction with Grim Reaper, and the interactiondoeswork, but, normally I have the option to take a pregnancy test afterward to see if the sim is pregnant. After I try for a baby with Grim, the "Take Pregnancy Test" option does not pop up, and pregnancy signs don't show even after multiple "Try for Baby" interactions. I thought we were supposed to be able to have babies with the Grim Reaper?
EA Games packages dont combine with the additional packages from Steam.
I can't play the packages I downloaded from Steam and the packages I downloaded from EA at the same time. The packages I bought from EA Games for The Sims 4 game do not combine with the additional packages I bought from Steam. When I open the game from Steam, I can only play the packages I bought from Steam, and when I open it from EA Games, I can only play the packages I downloaded from EA Game. What is the solution to this?
Build/Buy Mode unusable after attempting to build L-shaped deck
I was playing my game when I wanted to add a deck for a pool in the back of my house in Newcrest. So I went into build/buy mode for an L-shaped deck but then after using the arrows to adjust platform height so it would match, the game wouldn't let me do anything in build/buy. I tried exiting build/buy and reentering, and when i moved stuff, it said things were being moved but when i let go of left-click, they just snapped to their original position. I tried saving the game so i could restart the game but now it says its been saving for more than an hour now. I have a high-quality computer with lots of space so i don't know why it wont work. This happened in an earlier game and thought it was a one-time glitch, but now that its happened again, I'm not so sure. There was no error code or notification, it just stopped. Does anyone else have this glitch or know a solution? (TESTINGCHEATS was on)
Manage through steam but I have it on EA App?
I wanted to go back to playing Sims 4 so installed the game and everything was fine until I wanted to install one of my favourite stuff packs, for some reason after joining EA App and Steam libraries the stuff pack can be only managed through Steam which I don't want it to, I bough the pack itself on EA App when it was still Origin and couple of years later I added the stuff pack on steam because it was for free (so I was like why not?) and I did not have the libraries joint yet, is there a possibility of like unlinking this stuff pack from my Steam library and have it on EA App so I can install it from there? I tried doing it through steam but it needs to install the game again and I don't want to change my Steam's library install directory? Thanks!
