Steam not recognizing all my game/packs/kits
OK, so I own every single bit of DL content for Sims 4 on EA games through the app (It was on Origin but I moved to the EA app) I had no issues with that. NOW I moved to Steam because there's other games over there I play with too. Figured might as well do the same for my Sims game to make it easier to have all my content in the same spot. Well sadly... Steam only downloaded the base game. It tells me I have to buy the others, but I already own them. When I run the game none of the content I own shows. It's base game only. I have a very good, high end gaming machine. I downloaded and installed steam, ran EA and it asked me to link accounts. I did that as I was supposed to but none of the add ons ... added on... I looked in here to see if there was a solution I haven't tried from my google search and so far nothing has worked. Does anyone have a clue what in the world I am doing wrong? Computer Specs. Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF 3.20 GHz 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable) 64 bit OS 533 GB used of 16TB Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 12 GB Uninstalled, reinstalled EA and all my Sims stuff removed before the new reinstall. *(old was backed up) I uninstalled and reinstalled steam as well. I launched Steam, tried to add the game to my list but it doesn't work (I get the base game free, but all of DL content is not there) Can someone please help because the walk through guides I found on line are not working. I've been trying to troubleshoot this for the last 3 days.
Game not loading
I just downloaded this game yesterday to play after not having it installed for a long time. I played for a bit this morning, but now every time I try to load it from either Steam, where I purchased it, or the EA app, I get an error message, game still won't start, and it tells me to send a report and restart the app. It won't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA!
3rd time's the charm Ultimate+ battlepass skins
I didn't buy the ultimate+ battle pass from whichever that season was with the ash and caustic skins yet after supposedly fixing the issue with the exotic shards and newcastle/conduit ultimate+ skins and yet I still have the ash and caustic skins from the ultimate+ battle pass. I've attached the skins I'm talking about.new expansion pack is not working
i just bought the businesses and hobbies pack and i can get as far as the world page but as soon as i try to play a household, it takes me back and gives me an error code and tells me to relaunch it. ive updated all my mods and deleted the broken ones. the only thing that lets me play is removing the pack from my downloads
Cannot connect to EA
Since the last DLC Update I can't connect to EA. When I start the game Iit says "Connecting to EA" but nothing happens and the login dialog is not shown. The only thing I can do is to skip the access and play offline. I'm running on PC-Steam. After discussing this issue on the EA WRC official channel it seems that I'm not the only one having this issue. Thank you for your attention.No connecting to EA…
Hello! I would like to ask for some help from you. So far everything was fine with the game, I didn't encounter any problems! Then there was an OP system (win11) reinstallation. In the past few days, I also reinstalled the game from steam. Since then, the problem shown in the pictures below has arisen. The "Connecting to EA" signal goes on for long minutes, but without an error message. All other functions work, which are offline. What could be the solution to this? What I have already done... - I reinstalled the game 2x (even before the big update and now after). - I also ran a check via steam. - I also disconnected the steam account, then reconnected it to the EA profile. - As a last resort, I also modified the DNS as written. - I read the troubleshoot topics, but I didn't really encounter such a problem... They didn't bring a solution either! Thank you in advance for your help!
Freezing and Crashing during Build mode
I play Sims 4 via Steam and for the last 3 days whenever I try to add a kitchen cabinet or bookshelves from the build mode menu onto my lot, the game will freeze and then crash closing the Sims 4 entirely. I recently changed lots as I was running out of room on my lot so moved everything to a bigger lot, therefore naturally I am in build mode moving things around, designing new rooms etc. to make the home more functioning for my sims. I only have 2 rooms left until it is all finished so I can get back into regular live play but the issues above meaning I have no kitchen nor study room for my sims. Any bookshelves I clone or try to take from the build mode the game will freeze and close the entire Sims 4 gameplay, this happens also when it comes to any type of kitchen cabinets I try to clone or use from the build mode menu. Naturally due to this I have had to become save game mad after every little change or build I do for another room in case this happens to any other build items within the game just so I don't lose any progress, making it very difficult to play at the moment, yet alone cant play live mode without a kitchen to even make food for my sims. Anyone else having issues with this build mode freezing and crashing, not just specifically with cabinets and bookshelves but with any specific items within the game and have any suggestions on how this can be quickly dealt with?
