Found Bugs/Suggest Additions
Hi there, I wanted to start a discussion on features the community would like to see in the Cozy Bundle or bugs the community has found and we can all make posts towards this on here if that’s ok! :) I wanted to start off by saying that the controls, while working great, feel a little off for me as I’m left handed, and I think it would be a nice addition if we could get an option to swap the controls for the Left and Right Stick for those who would prefer that, and vice versa. :)
No MySims Kindgom Download from Cozy Bundle?
I have just been messaging someone on EA Help by alas no luck, so here I am. I redeemed MySims Cozy Bundle yesterday & and I was very excited to get playing. I played MySims for about 2 hours before hoping to change to MySims Kingdom (my main reason for getting the game), and struggled to do so for a short while. My system only downloaded 'MySims' so I was expecting to be able to switch to MySims Kingdom in the same game/widget. I went on a search, looking at several YouTube videos of gameplay, people streaming the Cozy Bundle on Twitch, and started to feel like I was losing my mind a little bit. Where can I play MySims Kingdom?! It was at this point I realised that MySims Kingdom should also have it's on widget on the system menu, and that, it was nowhere to be seen. Huh? I went back to the e-shop and double checked I'm not missing anything - it says "purchased" and there's definitely nothing additional I can select to download MySims Kingdom. I checked that my system is updated & that I have enough storage for the game - yes and yes. I even deleted my save data & uninstalled the game from my console to start again - proceed to the e-shop and download the game. Once again only MySims is downloaded, no sign of MySims Kingdom. It's not that it's stuck downloading, it just doesn't show up on my menu page at all. I'm connected to a stable Internet connection so that's not the issue. What do I do?!
Whitewashing
Disappointed not much is being said about the whitewashing in Kingdom of both skintones and specific characters (Rosalyn, Yuki, etc.) It's 2024 and I find this inexcusable. Additionally, a bug I noticed in the cozy bundle is several clothing items in CAS have skintones far far paler than the actual skintones creating an odd effect as the clothing shading does not match the faces.Lags and Bugs - game not playable for me
Hello everyone, I have the problem that my game often lags and freezes while playing. The freezes are about 1-2 seconds long and quickly dissappear again. I also have the issue that sometimes building objects are not interactable. A restart often fixes the problem but it is always coming back. The things I already did to troubleshoot: restarting the game, restarting the console, reinstalling the game, used different internet connection methods (different wifi and hotspot), tried handheld and TV mode. None of the above helped me. I tried them all multiple times. Nintendo refuses a refund unless I get the info, that currently there is no solution for that problem. So my question is, is there a method I haven't tried yet or can anyone help me? The EA Support chat gave me a link to this forum to ask for a possible solution
MySims PC: I have a few questions
Its been a really long time since last time I've played MySims on the pc. I just have a few questions if anyone still plays it too. (Note: I'm talking for the PC not the switch) I have tried looking up these answers on my own, but I either gets answers to do with sims 4 or I get answers for other systems. Neither of which are helpful. x.x First question. I need to do a task for candy and I need clown fish essence. My dumb fingers pressed the button the mouse too early, so I didn't get a chance to read on how to fish. I tried winging it, but keep failing, so then I tried looking it up online. Luckily, I didn't find the answer, but it game me the answer for how to do it on the wii and I'm on the pc. Can only please explain to me how to fish? Second question. I noticed that some of the other sims will juggle, jump on the couch or even sit outside and read or as they call it, have a book party. I was wondering if there was a way my sim could also do those things without having to wait for other sims? Like, is there a way I can spread out a blanket and start a book party instead of waiting for another sim to start it?? Third question. I want to take some screenshots of some cute of silly moments my sim has, but whenever I press the prtsc button, it minimizes the game and tries taking a screenshot of my pc's background. As pretty as my background is, I don't think I'm obsessed with it enough to have multiple pictures of the same image. XD I tried looking this answer up online, but all it gives me are ways on how to take screenshots on the sims 4. So is there anyway to take screenshots on mysims for the pc or am I just going to have to just snap pictures of my screen with my phone like the good ol days? XD I understand that this game probably doesn't have a lot of players as far as pc goes to this day, so the answers to my questions may go left unanswered or that some people may not remember for they probably haven't played in such a long long time. But I would still be thankful people read my post and even if you only had the answer to just one of my questions. 😄
