I have played FIFA/EA FC since FIFA 18, and I want to give some honest feedback about FC 27 Ultimate Team. The biggest problem for me is the Power Curve. I understand that EA wants to control it, but I think it has been controlled too much. The result is that the game feels less exciting. Daily content, weekly updates and promos used to give me something to look forward to, but currently there are not enough meaningful upgrades or exciting cards. SBCs and the Token system are another major issue. Some requirements feel unrealistic for normal players and can make it seem like spending a huge amount of FC Points is the only way to complete them. SBCs should provide realistic paths for players who mainly play the game. Other things are also affecting the Power Curve and transfer market: Evolutions: Some promo cards can become less attractive when similar or better upgrades are possible through Evolutions. Guaranteed promo packs: Large amounts of promo cards entering the game through Store packs can quickly reduce their market value. Too many special cards: With more players, Icons and Heroes available, many cards quickly become irrelevant. Chemistry: Chemistry feels too easy now, and playing some players out of position does not always make a significant difference. This also reduces the uniqueness of Icons and Heroes. Very strong free cards early: Giving players extremely powerful cards in the first weeks makes Gold cards and early promos lose their value too quickly. I don’t think the solution is simply to release fewer promos. The important thing is to manage the Power Curve better. For example, some of the strongest players should not have extremely powerful versions available immediately. Keep Gold cards relevant for longer, then introduce stronger versions through later promos. This would make future content more exciting while still allowing the Power Curve to progress naturally. FC 27 is still early in its cycle, so there is plenty of time to improve it. I have played since FIFA 18, and I want to feel that excitement again when a new promo, SBC or weekly update arrives. Please focus on making the Power Curve meaningful, balancing SBCs and Store content, and giving players more exciting reasons to play every week.So much for realism. Clown **bleep** developers.
All the emphasise on this year about realism and wanting players to manually defend and manually passing. Here I posted a gameplay video where I was controlling my centre back trying to close down the opposition player. One of their player which was marked by my leftback make a behind run into the box. As he makes the run, my left back decided to run away from the player instead of following him into the box. Either that or countless play where one of the opposition winger was in an obvious offside position and my side back decided to track back together with the player when my 2 centre backs are closing down the opposition in the middle which lead a free overhead pass to the other winger because my sideback decided to keep him onside on the other end. In the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Apex Legends, if you move the perspective slightly upwards, the upward input is not released, and the perspective continues to move up as it is. So what did the recent update fix? The lobby issues still persist and loading in to ranked showdown game still kicks players, like what did the update generally fix? I shouldnt have to restart my game, console or even clear my ps5 cache every other game or every game. Its crazy how theres so many errors and bugs in ranked showdown that still makes it unbearable to play. Please make showdown playable again without all these issues! EA don't investigate the issue. It doesn't take a doctorate to understand that you have screwed people in your community and it should be fixed the day of or day after. It is currently the day after. Please stop asking for more money and becoming an even worse company. I had so much faith in Madden this year because at UFC they really listened to the community. You guys have wasted so many peoples time. I don't care if it takes the team 2 longer shifts to fix the issue, it doesn't compare to our time at all. EA is the only company that has you talking to a wall for any issue. What are your developers for? I have to spam this forum I'm sure is checked once a day for any hope. EVEN THEN I CAN'T GET A RESPONSE! I will continue to use this forum until the problem is fixed and we are rewarded for the error they made. I have never felt this unheard and ignored. At first I saw the message from EA_Kent and was excited they fixed this problem. But no, they actually just basically said this is gonna be prolonged until its ignored or we feel like giving you a mediocre substitute for your loss because we're investigating a continuous problem with our lazy coding. I love football so that's why I play madden so intensely but someone needs to take it away from EA for making a mockery of John Maddens late name. I have been through the glitches and the trash gameplay, never complained but while I could've been grinding for coins or creating new gameplans, I was grinding a flawed rank system that wasted so much of my time. I shouldn't have to contact and wait on you guys, the customer should be priority but there is a monopoly on this football gaming that makes EA feel above other companies, that's why every other competitive market game they come out with fails. This year EA wants the players to be manually defending instead of relying on AI. My question is what about when you're playing against 2 players in rival? How are you supposed to be defending against 2 players if you can only rely on lane cutting and the need to contain simultaneously? Wonder if the developer brain was in their head or up their **bleep** during production.
