Rush Mode Broken on Switch
It’s utterly ridiculous this hasn’t been resolved yet. The transfer market is completely locked behind a rush game mode objective that no one on switch can reliably complete because the game won’t connect to enough other players. People have been trying for months. Unbelievable.214Views4likes3CommentsIt takes Two online play with Nintendo switch does not work. EA won't fix issue
I purchased this to play online with my boyfriend it won't allow us to connect or play. Amazon won't refund a digital game purchase. Ea support is horrible they won't do anything. So basically I lost $40 on a game I can't play. My boyfriend lives away from me so we can't play it. I wasted my money on a game that EA should help fix problem since it's their issue. Nobody will help or refund. Error 10580190000 won't allow us to connect to EA servers. Nothing helps. Tried everything. Buyer please be aware do not buy. You can not play. I don't wish people to buy it and be out $40 like me on a game that can't be played.294Views3likes11CommentsMADDEN 26-27 IMPROVEMENT IDEAS
This is a thread I wanted to start so everyone on here can have their ideas seen and heard by EA_Shepard and other EA Staff while also having a single, organized place to share them. This in turn makes it easier to read and organize these thoughts in order to pass on to dev teams. Please be respectful and feel free to put down anything you would want to see in a coming update or in newer games to come. I'll start by adding these ideas: Downloadable Rosters & Draft Classes from past years for nostalgic Franchises. Customizable Divisions and Schedules like what is found in CFB (Great for Fantasy). Reincluding the option of Coaching Legends for Coach Mode (Also Great for Fantasy). Possibly reinclude custom facial uploads for custom coaches in Coach Mode. Revamped and reincluded Player/Owner Modes. - Ultimately to summarize this: For Owner Mode, I'd like to see Team Builder tied more exclusively to a new version of this where customization of everything from the ground up is key for the most customizable experience ever. For Player Mode, I'd like what little works well within Superstar to be tied to a new, revamped Player Mode, where the storylines and cutscenes are more included here, and less in other modes. This would include being able to choose an existing player within a franchise, and focus exclusively on their career; OR, create a new player and start as you would within Superstar. I'd like to see Team Builder weaved into relocation for all online modes and somehow introduced into offline. Inclusion of holding the L2/LT to Switch Stick to minimize switching by accident, especially while trying to pass rush. Include more cities and teams for Relocation. Cities where franchises already exist like Miami, LA, or Detroit, as well as new ones like Boston, Phoenix, or Birmingham. More Stadium options for Relocation. Reinclude Build a Stadium within Team Builder. I'm talking from scratch...not just editing the field. Reinclude the ability to edit and create more custom uniform combinations. Within the Edit Rosters section of the Creation Center, more flexibility to edit a player's contract, abilities, etc, would be nice. Better Training Camp - Introduce some ability to gain physical STR, SPD, AGI, COD, by introducing some of the game found in Superstar like the 3Cone, Weightlifting, 40YD, etc. - This is where mini-games shine. Make games open for more players to train and have them more focused on gaining skill points and less on XP and Rookie Reps. This is a great way to help maintain the physical ability of Vets, or take your high-level Superstars to the next level. Revamp Weekly Training - Make this less focused on mini-games and tie it more to Practice Mode and gaining XP/Rookie Reps. The way the have Wear & Tear worked into this is nice; Now just optimize it. Optimize Coach Central and Coaching Abilities. - It's a bit to type but my thoughts on this can be found in my "M26 Franchise Feedback thread" thread. I feel that's a pretty good start for now. Hopefully this is helpful for anyone that reads and I look forward to seeing more thoughts and ideas shared here!3.6KViews9likes190CommentsCrash: sh_items.gnut #840 - Invalid settings asset (Steam & Switch)
I am reporting a severe logic error tied to my account that is preventing me from playing the game. Whenever I open an Apex Packs, the game crashes with the following script error: sh_items.gnut #840 [UI] Invalid settings asset "Something" Issue Details: On Steam (PC): The game freezes for several seconds and then throws the #840 error specifically when I click to open an Apex Pack. On Nintendo Switch: The situation is even worse. I cannot even reach the lobby. As soon as I enter the Apex main menu/title screen, the error pops up and forces the game to crash.144Views4likes5CommentsSupport Process Question: EA Help vs EA Forums
Dear EA Sports, I was advised by the EA Sports Support team (EA Help) to raise my concerns and issues with the game on the EA Forums, and I was assured that developers and relevant teams are active here. However, despite creating multiple posts outlining my concerns, none of them have been acknowledged by EA staff. I have worked in a corporate environment for over 25 years, and I must say that this level of communication falls well below the standard one would normally expect from a customer support structure. What I find particularly confusing is the process itself. EA Help, which is meant to support customers, redirects players to these forums to raise issues. Yet once customers follow that direction, it appears that no meaningful engagement takes place. From a customer perspective, this creates a situation where players are effectively moved from one support channel to another without their concerns actually being addressed. The only time I received a response was when a post included a three-letter word that apparently violated forum rules. That post received attention immediately, yet the actual concern raised in the post was not addressed in the response. This sends a rather unfortunate message that moderation is active, but meaningful engagement with the issues themselves is not. As a long-standing customer, this is disappointing. I have been playing EA football titles since the very first FIFA, well before the PlayStation era, and I have remained a loyal player for decades. Because of that, I find it difficult to understand why concerns raised by players here receive so little acknowledgement. I fully understand that companies must be careful when responding publicly. However, complete silence is also a response, and it is not a particularly reassuring one. If EA Help directs players to the forums, then the forums should function as a place where issues are at least acknowledged or discussed. Otherwise, the process risks appearing circular — players are redirected to the forums for help, but once they arrive, no help is provided. I would respectfully ask that this process be reconsidered, and that concerns raised here receive at least some level of acknowledgement from the relevant teams. I have earned badges and profile levels on this forum over time, but those are secondary. What matters far more is meaningful communication with the player community. Could EA staff please clarify whether posts raising gameplay concerns are reviewed and whether players can expect responses here? For clarity, could a member of the EA community team or moderation team please confirm whether gameplay concerns raised on this forum are reviewed by the development team, and whether players should realistically expect feedback or acknowledgement when such concerns are raised here? Understanding how this process works would be very helpful for players who have been directed here by EA Help. Thank you for your time and consideration.614Views8likes40CommentsWell, now it's official
The people that decide the OBJ are, let's say, not very good at their job. Just got disconnected 3 times in the South American League, an objective that requires you to win 60% of your games in order to complete the OBJ. That's 12 wins in 20 games and now 3 of them, or 15%, are gone due to EA servers being crap. And it's not like I lost my internet connection or even my connection to PSN, nope it was JUST EA servers. The first two happened even before kickoff, got past the team screen and then nothing. the third one was at halftime as I was leading 1-0. Of course those disconnects were promptly followed by EA's disconnection threat (sorry "disconnection warning") about not "leaving" games. Whoever decided the 12 wins out of 20 needs to get fired NOW! Or even worse they should be made to play the game because I have a feeling none of them do.60Views0likes3CommentsFalse banned and can’t remove ranked point deduction ban after unban.
I was falsely banned for cheating on nintendo switch 2 I did appeal it and have an investigation on my account in which I was unbanned, but now I have a ranked point deduction penalty that came along with the cheating ban and wasn’t removed correctly after unban, it says I was masters on split 1 when I ended top 40 I appealed at ea for this in which I was given an ai reply saying that the ranked point deduction ban was correctly placed due to cheating, the ai clearly didn’t look at the fact that I was unbanned, because the original ban was false, someone at ea please help, thank you!36Views0likes0CommentsWhat to do if your Apex Legends account got banned or suspended
