Legacy defending for online gameplay
Please bring back legacy defending for online games. Why help us choose how we intend to play . This is ridiculous . I spend my money every year purchasing the game and also subscribing yearly for online games , and got to realize I cannot use Legacy for online , please why’s that ? Please restore back legacy or I’m gonna have to ask for a refund !
Captain select fixture suggestion
I have been thinking about something ea could add for the next games career mode. I don’t like that when you have chosen a captain and he gets subbed out a random player gets it. So my suggestion is that you can select 1-5th captain like they do in real life so when number 1 gets sub it’s changes to the one next in line and so on. If not any of the 5 players is on field I guess a random would be fine. The 1-5 captain pick would be a realistic and fun team management fixture. When lifting the trophy the number one captain comes back and lifts it if is part of the squad even when subbed again makes it more realistic. What do people think?
Players ONLY Taking Long Shots After Update — Is This a New FC25 Bug?
I’ve been running a long-term Manager Mode save where I took Bromley all the way up to the Premier League, growing the squad to around £275m within four seasons. Before the latest update, my team played great football — strong defensively, and consistently high-scoring even though I fully simulate matches. After returning from a short break and installing the most recent update, something feels very off with how my attackers behave. My strikers and CAMs are now taking long-range shots almost every time they get near the box, even when there are clear passing options in front of them. Almost all of these shots go straight to the goalkeeper. I’ve tried everything I can think of — different formations, role combinations, tactical presets, and even custom tactics, changed players — but the issue doesn’t go away. This wasn’t happening before the update, and it’s made my save impossible to continue... which is heartbreaking. Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround? Is this EAs notorious bad dealings to push me to buy FC26 (which I did and now I need a shower).Defending ever getting put in the game?!
The state of this game has gone beyond a joke. So many issues with gameplay but my main one is defending. I’ll admit I’ve never been the best at defending, but my god, there is absolutely no manual defending in this game whatsoever, standing tackles might as well not even exist as they just never connect, even though both of my cb’s have 88 stand tackle & bruiser base. Rumours are that they’re dumbing down defensive AI in the upcoming patch, what defensive AI? So many times I’ll be controlling the cdm but when the ball gets to their attacker my cb’s will just move in the god **bleep** opposite direction of the player with the ball instead of closing them down! if they do dumb down the AI then I hope they’ve done something to manual defending because it’s just not in the game at all. Absolutely farcical game.How long will the cheats in this game last?
I just played a friendly match, and it was truly disgusting. I curse the day I paid to buy this game. They can't figure out a single trick. Look at the pictures I posted; the substitutions are -8. I have no strikers left in the game. They all came off, and the reserve goalkeeper started playing forward. Then he came off again, and came back on.
