game blackscreen at launch
When I launch my game it goes into a black screen. Sometimes it wont even load into a full screen. But its always black and I have to restart the whole pc just to use it again. I want to play the game and havnt been able to since late April. I need help and EA only told me to search the forums. They refuse to help with any tech support.
Missing friends on your friends list?
Since they fixed the join groups recently ive been missing a couple friends on my list I search them in game it still says we're friends and i dont even get the notifications they are online in the game as well the only way i can join them now is sending a invite in PSN which sometimes works but mostly joining them by a third friend that sees them on when i cant this work around works best after doing this I can see them again on My friend list again just by joining them? Anyone else have this problem leave a comment so they know this is a issue?
Just updated, can't find Stadium's entrance?
Devs, I just went and unlocked all my Brickswitch fast travel locations and I skated the outside of the Stadium. Now I wanted to go inside, but there's no longer a circle out front for me to teleport inside? Not sure what happened. Product boxes are still locked for me, maybe haves something to do with it?
Neighbourhood Progress reset & stuck at 0 / 0
Description of the issue: Right after the Season 3 maintenance was over and I hopped in to check things out, all of my neighbourhood levels and progress got reset/bugged out. They are simply stuck at 0 / 0 and will not update or progress at all. Can't buy any product boxes either, even if it shows that I already have multiple boxes unlocked in said neighbourhood. It's been like this two weeks. Steps to trigger/reproduce the issue: Start the game as usual Look at the 0 / 0 on your current neighbourhood and wonder if all your progress gone Write bug report and hope for the best. I've seen a handful of other people post on reddit and the discord with the same issue. Still no acknowledgement as a known bug, which worries me a ton. Platform: PC (Steam) Troubleshooting steps already performed: Validated files through Steam. Reinstalled game completely. Attempted to run a few missions both old and new in every neighbourhood hoping it would fix things. No luck.
Alt-Tab causes GPU usage and temperature to spike while Skate is unfocused
When Skate loses focus through Alt-Tab, GPU utilisation and power consumption spike significantly, even in windowed mode. On an RTX 3080, temperature rises from approximately 60°C while focused to 84°C while unfocused. Setting NVIDIA Control Panel → Background Application Max Frame Rate to 20 FPS completely prevents the issue. This suggests the game’s background rendering becomes uncapped or is not correctly throttled when focus is lost. After applying the 20 FPS background limit, the GPU remains at approximately 60°C while Skate is unfocused.
Quick Drop Bug
I started experience a glitch when i open up the quick drop menu but instead of seeing the items the menu backdrop pops up (the background of the hub section). I can’t do anything nor see my surroundings. This has happened 3 times today, 2 of those were within 30 mins. anyone know why this is happening?Bug
OK so I play on PS5 and I’m a new player as well. I’m trying to level up but every time I go to the extrovert shop, nothing happens. I have tried restarting the game. I have tried restarting my PlayStation. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game and then I tried restoring the license and none of that worked. Also, my map is completely blank of anything besides the X game quests. What’s going on?PS4 Server Connection
I'm unable to connect to server when launching the map. The game initially boots up the X-games arena loading screen then switches over to the Skate logo loading screen after a few minutes. An error message prompts shortly after saying that the connection was lost. I have ran into a moment where the X-games loading screen stayed up for over 10mins before deciding to shutdown.
