Supremacy Ship; Holding point glitch
While in a game of Supremacy on the age of the republic game mode, I noticed that my team was unable to take one of the points on the Clone ship, because it remained contested. I was playing Bossk and I threw my Dioxis Grenade around the point multiple times to find where the enemy was to see who was contesting the point.(Bossk highlights enemies who are being affected by his Dioxis Grenade) Eventually I found an aerial clone trooper who was able to get to a spot on a pipe above the point. Even though he wasn't on point directly, he was still able to contest the point, and he was in a position where no one could shoot them. Hopefully this can be patched by either having the pathway to the pipe inaccessible or have the point unable to be contested if a player is not directly on the point.15Views0likes1CommentFalse Ban on 1,600+ Hours Account - Need CM Escalation (False Positive)
Hi CMs, My account with 1,600+ hours in SW Battlefront II was permanently banned due to a false positive. I have never used any cheats or hacks. Automated ToS appeals keep sending generic rejections without a real review. Could a Community Manager please help escalate my case to a Senior Specialist for a manual log check? * EA ID: CptBobaFett * Case ID: 251024189 Thank you!38Views0likes1CommentStar Wars Battlefront II (Steam) fails to start/ silent crash to EA App
Proposed Title for the Forum: Star Wars Battlefront II (Steam) fails to launch / silent crash to EA App / Exhaustive Troubleshooting done Problem Description: * The game launched via Steam briefly opens the loading screen or starts the process, then closes silently without any error message. * The EA App pops up afterwards as if nothing happened. * The game does not generate any configuration files on startup. The folder "STAR WARS Battlefront II" under Windows "Documents" is completely missing. Troubleshooting steps performed (without success): 1. Launcher, Cache and Reinstallation * Complete reinstallation of Steam and the EA App. * Cleared EA App cache via App Recovery. * Completely deleted EA App certificates and temporary files under LocalAppData. * Removed old Origin folder remnants in ProgramData and AppData. * Manually restarted the EABackgroundService and verified it is set to automatic start. * Verified game file integrity via Steam multiple times. 2. System Environment and Drivers * Updated all system and graphics drivers to the latest version. * Created a new local Windows user with administrator privileges and attempted launch there. * Moved the installation to the primary system drive (C:) to rule out symlink or secondary drive issues. * Completely uninstalled and cleanly reinstalled ALL Visual C++ Redistributables (all versions from 2005 to current for both x86 and x64) as well as the full DirectX SDK and DirectX End User Runtimes (this fixed an initial 0xc000007b error with ActivationUI.exe but the silent crash persists). 3. Permissions and UAC (User Account Control) * Ran Steam and EA App synchronously as administrator. * Completely revoked admin rights for both launchers for testing. * Tested asymmetrical permissions (EA App as Admin, Steam without). * Strictly disabled compatibility mode for ActivationUI.exe and starwarsbattlefrontii.exe. 4. Folder Permissions and Antivirus * Checked Windows Ransomware Protection (Controlled folder access) and set exceptions for the game. * Disabled antivirus and whitelisted complete folder structures. * Disabled OneDrive synchronization to rule out path redirections for the Documents folder. * Manually created the folder structure under Documents ("STAR WARS Battlefront II\settings") to bypass permission issues during automatic creation. 5. Engine Workarounds and Interfaces * Disabled all in game overlays (Steam, EA App, Discord). * Forced DirectX 11 launch by manually creating the boot file ProfileOptions_profile with the parameter GstRender.EnableDx12 0. * Set Intel OpenSSL Environment Variable for newer CPUs (OPENSSL_ia32cap = ~0x200000200000000). * Manually triggered the game launch via Link2EA.exe, EALauncher.exe, and directly via EADesktop.exe. * Verified and confirmed the link between the Steam and EA account in the web browser. With this level of technical detail, I hope the developers or community managers will immediately recognize that the issue lies deep within the Frostbite engine or the API interface between Steam and EA. And yeah, I summarized everything I did with AI because I am completely burned out with this issue. It makes no sense that EA doesn't do anything about it, considering how many people have this exact problem and are asking for help on different platforms. But nothing happens.120Views1like6CommentsEwok Hunt has game breaking glitches
Ewok Hunt is completely broken and has been for several updates now — can we PLEASE get a fix? Two bugs are killing the mode: first, black screens and movement locks right when the evacuation ship is about to spawn, and second, random mid-game freezes that force you to respawn for no reason. It's not an occasional glitch, it's constant and game-breaking. A lot of us bought Battlefront 2 specifically for this mode. It's genuinely sad to see it in this state. Dev team, please acknowledge this.121Views3likes2CommentsHACKER
I was playing a game of duels with my friend. I got defeated and I was spectating my friend. He defeated one of the players and it came to a 1V1 situation. But then out of nowhere the player that was defeated by my friend respawned as a different character and they played a 2V1. Then the next round we went again with the hacker 2V1 and defeated him. but then he respawned and killed me again. So if anyone who can ban him and resolve this issue will take care of this situation. I would be really thankful. His EA profile name is V*****n. Hello, I am reaching out to support because Star Wars Battlefront II has not been working for several weeks and I have exhausted every solution I could find. Exact symptom: the game launches, the window opens for about 2 seconds, it attempts to go fullscreen, then silently closes and reopens the EA launcher. No error message, no error code, nothing. Sometimes it accepts to launch once or twice, then stops working entirely afterwards, without any changes made on my end between sessions. System configuration: - GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X - Secure Boot: Enabled - BIOS Mode: UEFI - Game purchased via Steam, tested via both Steam AND the EA App Troubleshooting steps already attempted without success: - Full uninstall of the game (including system files) and reinstall - Clean AMD driver reinstall using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) - Disabled Radeon Anti-Lag - Installed Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2022 x64 and x86 - Cleared the EA App cache - Verified game file integrity via Steam (no corrupted files detected) - Reinstalled EA AntiCheat via EAAntiCheat.Installer as administrator - Checked environment variables (no GAME_DATA_DIR present) - Disabled DirectX 12 in the game config files - Checked Windows Event Viewer (no error logged at the time of the crash) I suspect the issue is related to EA Javelin AntiCheat silently killing the process, as the behavior matches exactly: silent crash with no message, random between sessions, no trace in Windows logs. I saw that both: SWB2 crashes when the game starts. | EA Forums - 13430650 and SWB2 crashes when the game starts. | EA Forums - 13430650SWB2 crashes when the game starts. | EA Forums - 13430650 seems to have the same problem, I hope you're gonna find what is wrong with it Thank you for your help in resolving this issue.140Views0likes4Comments
