Issue saving gallery lots to library from build mode
So I have noticed that my issue saving lots to my library arrises when I have downloaded the lot from the gallery and edited it in build mode, then when I try to save it to my library I get the 'Server Error' message. This has been an issue for about 4/5 months for me. I am too far in the builds to start again and is affecting at least 6 lots in my save. I just want to be able to save things to my library! Please can this get fixed! Things I have tried to fix it: I have repaired my game, removed all mods, started a new save, cleared the cache etc, yet the issue still prevails...15Views0likes1Commentsims 4 errors
I keep getting the error server when I try to save a build lot on the/ my gallery. Also, my game keeps freezing to the point of restarting itself automatically, which is annoying because it takes ages to restart again, and I have to shut my laptop down every time to stop it from going crazy. I have uninstalled and wiped my laptop of any Sims 4 folders as well as uninstalled the EA desktop app. I have then reinstalled everything, but the issues are still happening. I have noticed, though, that before I purchased and downloaded the adventure awaits, the game was working, and afterwards these issues kept happening. I understand there is a lot of problems and reports at the moment as other players are having similar issues, however, I would appreciate an update of if any of the players are or have experienced the same thing and if the creators are working on the errors as not just myself but for others, a lot of money have been spent over the years of gaining these packs for game, and now nothing wants to work throughout. Note: I do not own any or have any mods in my game.9Views0likes2CommentsServer Error uploading to gallery/library
This is the text in the error message: Server error. We could not process this gallery request. Please try again later. I tried uploading the image from my phone, but I can't get my laptop to do so. Anyone else having this problem, for me it started after the new burglar update. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title33KViews771likes842CommentsCleared Gallery
Hello, me again. Back with more... upsetting news. It's a long story so let me (try) and make it entertaining. If you'd wish to read the issue, it'll be written in bold and underlined. I will also colour potential actions that lead to the issue in red and write it out in italics. So, I was updating a family saved to my gallery, adding an additional member and all. It was then that I decided to save said family (to work on later). Error. My gallery was full. An issue that I never thought to be possible but easy to fix. So I quickly go through my gallery, deleting old houses and households here and there. When I finished, I tried once again to save the household I was working on. Error. Unexpected issue, try again later. No big deal, I've saved this household as a WIP previously. So I try again and again. Still the same issue. Fail after fail, I slowly grew irritated resulting in my own pursuit of the issue. It was right infront of my eyes. One gallery image had yet to load in. So I simply... clicked on the unloaded image, hoping if I did, it'd load quicker/ fix the issue at hand. I waited a bit, hoping to get results. Nothing. I grew impatient, clicking the "save to gallery" button before the image loaded. Then suddenly... —Nothing. Nothing at all happened. It was as if it was considering saving it without the intention behind doing so. I waited. Maybe if I did so it'd work. Nothing. I tried getting out of that menu to no avail. So, finally accepting defeat, I opted to rest my PlayStation (having seen no other choice). I booted it up, entered the Sims 4 only to be met with a Corruption pop up. Next thing I knew, when I opened up my gallery, nothing, that I have saved, was present on my screen. Complete and utterly wipe out. So, I'm asking for help. Anything, that could bring my gallery back, at all. Any help will be much appreciated.8Views0likes0CommentsCan't find lots I've downloaded. Help!!!!
I downloaded 5 sims lots today from the sims resource, and at least four of them do not have any cc (one does not say if it has cc). I have put all the files in the tray file since there was no cc to download. I do not have any package or script files in there. Only tray files are in there. I looked up every file that can go in the tray file to make sure. I have downloaded a lot before with CC and it worked perfectly, but these 5 lots are not appearing. I turned cc lots just in case and even searched for them in the my library and the gallery. Please help me! I have cc files and script mods on too and I have restarted the game, but no show. I also have all of the packs installed, expansions, kits, etc.Infinite Loading Screen after placing lots and going back to manage worlds
Hey guys, I searched the forum first and didn't see any issues that matched mine so here i am, please let me know if there is a forum with this issue already that i didn't see! ***I took out mods completely and I am still having the issue! So, whenever I place down a lot in manage worlds it places fine, but as soon as I hit manage worlds to go back out after placing, i get an infinite loading screen. My first assumption was of course mods. So I removed them all and tried again, still happening. So, it doesn't seem to be a mod issue, more of a game issue. Any ideas of a fix or anyone else having this issue?Game Not Connecting Online, Limited-Time Items Missing
My game displays the message: “Connection Required: Connect or stay offline?” When I choose “Connect,” it just says “Attempting to Connect.” This has been happening for about a month, but I ignored it at first since it didn't bother me that much. (Since I can't connect, I also can't access the Gallery.) Recently, during the Deck the Palms Login Event, I wanted to claim the new items, but the event didn’t pop up, so I wasn’t sure if I needed to be connected online. I tried reinstalling The Sims 4 and moved my old saves over, but now I also lost all of the Limited-Time Items from past events. (I thought these items were supposed to be linked to my account. Not sure.) I don’t know what’s happening and would appreciate any help.[GALLERY] Filters for packs not working in the gallery
Hope this is the correct forum to post this. When filtering the gallery for lots and I select 'Show Owned' or select only specific packs, 98% of the lots that come up are base game lots with no pack-specific content. What gives? Note by crinrict Some information on the history for this. It's currently working how it was when the game first came out. It was an inclusive filter rather than an exclusive one. This was called by design. With Patch 1.108.349 this was changed probably because if issues with Cupid's Corner. It still didn't didn't work properly as it prompted a different kind of bug report, which mostly involved the gallery filter not working properly if you just chose one pack. Seems the changes have now been reverted but I personally haven't seen any reports for Cupid's Corner now also being broken again so maybe the team found another way to fix Cupid's Corner and go back to the inclusive filter it originally was. At this point it's unclear what's intended and what not. Maxis will need to clarify so it's currently treated as a new bug but it might come back as design again. I can only speculate. Here's the original thread: [BY DESIGN] Filters for packs not working in the gallery | EA Forums - 8617306.528Views19likes45CommentsBaseline body shape of Sims has changed
"Since the update around this spring, the baseline body shape of Sims has changed. I am playing on PlayStation 5 (PS5). By the way, my Sim is a very thin, male Sim. My Sim has been thin ever since they were born, so I immediately noticed the change in their leg thickness. I have set my muscle and weight sliders to the absolute thinnest setting, but despite that, they still appear thicker. They used to wear slim-fitting pants perfectly, but now they can't pull them off anymore. My Sim is a Vampire and does not usually eat meals. Also, because I absolutely do not want them to gain muscle, they do not usually exercise. Even if they do, it's only on the treadmill, and they occasionally go swimming in the sea in the summer. I re-downloaded the Sim that I had saved in the Gallery when he was thin, but the Sim saved in the Gallery was also thicker than before. I tried using the CAS cheat (cas.fulleditmode) to fix the body shape, but because the underlying baseline has changed, it didn't revert. I also checked multiple other save files outside of my current one, and all of the Sims had thicker legs. The upper body seems unaffected, but the muscle definition in the legs appears to have changed. And when I tested the sliders, the muscle mass slider now seems one or two sizes thicker than it was before. For players who focus on thin Sims, this bug is completely critical. This bug is very upsetting to look at, and it makes me feel very sad. (It seems this change is not as noticeable for Sims who are very muscular/buff.) Therefore, I request that you revert the baseline body value of Sims to the original thin baseline, and also revert all slider values to their original standards. Since body shape is a very important aspect of the game, please fix this immediately." Edit by crinrict: Adjusted title a bit97Views0likes2CommentsSims 4 can't sign into Gallery
HI there, To preface, I am not overly familiar with the EA app so I'm sorry if I don't know the names of things. So when I load my EA app, the right hand column says "Connection Failed". I noticed this a while ago, but I don't interact with that column anyways, so paid it no mind. However today in game, I tried to access the gallery and it would not sign me in. I waited a long time, there was no error message, it just didn't do anything. After a bit of Google-ing, I have tried signing out and signing back in. I have tried restarting the app - my app appeared to update but still it doesn't work. I have tried the App Recovery tool and deleted all the cache and nothing. Would love some advice please, thank you so much.
