[GALLERY] 'Timed Out' error when saving lot to Library/Gallery
What is happening: Prior to the Jan 13 update, I received a generic "server error" when I tried to save lots to my gallery. Following the patch notes that said that this issue was fixed, I went through some of my lots to back them up to my library with my updated game. Attempting to upload a lot now gives me an error message reading "Timed out during upload. Please check internet connection or try again in a minute." When I exit out from this message by clicking "Okay," I return to the window that allows you to set bedrooms/bathrooms and add a description to the lot before uploading. After a minute or two, I then get a green pop-up notification in the corner that the lot has been saved to my library, and it is indeed there when I check. I have not yet tested this with the "Upload to Gallery" button, only the "Save to Library" button. What I expect to see: I think it would be more useful to just have the "uploading to Gallery" loading animation for longer if it is just continuing to upload it in the background, as it's more reliable than getting an error message and then it actually working a couple of minutes later. [GALLERY] Filters for packs not working in the gallery
Hope this is the correct forum to post this. When filtering the gallery for lots and I select 'Show Owned' or select only specific packs, 98% of the lots that come up are base game lots with no pack-specific content. What gives? Note by crinrict Some information on the history for this. It's currently working how it was when the game first came out. It was an inclusive filter rather than an exclusive one. This was called by design. With Patch 1.108.349 this was changed probably because if issues with Cupid's Corner. It still didn't didn't work properly as it prompted a different kind of bug report, which mostly involved the gallery filter not working properly if you just chose one pack. Seems the changes have now been reverted but I personally haven't seen any reports for Cupid's Corner now also being broken again so maybe the team found another way to fix Cupid's Corner and go back to the inclusive filter it originally was. At this point it's unclear what's intended and what not. Maxis will need to clarify so it's currently treated as a new bug but it might come back as design again. I can only speculate. For probably over a year (possibly longer), I’m having an issue where after downloading a few lots/households from the Gallery, I can no longer move furniture in Build/Buy mode. I’m unable to pick up or reposition objects. This happens in every save file, not just one. The only way I can temporarily fix it is by deleting the localthumbcache.package file and clearing the cache folders. However once I download more items from the Gallery, the issue happens again. I have repaired the game and the problem still returns. I do have mods and cc installed but they are all up to date and I just don't know how this keeps happening every single time. Has anyone experienced this before or know what could be causing it?
[GALLERY] Follower Names anonymous/Empty Profiles
My gallery has been like this from the beginning from the year and in between I have reset my pc I have repaired my pc, and I have fixed bugs with my game so I'm assuming this is an online error from the EA server for the gallery when I go to my friends list on the gallery some of the people I have Followed say they are anonymous but when I go to their profile I get there full name I also searched for other people with this problem and so far, I could not find anyone Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title
Custom Content Creations
My custom Content families I created are all gone in my gallery even the homes I was going to revamp are gone. I need help as to getting them back please and thank you. I truly don't want to start over as a whole new game and create sims all over again. I don't mind adding but creating a whole community of sims household for it to be gone is a lot of work even some families that wasn't mine they were relatives are gone.
Paintings placed from gallery turn white when placed in different save
Game Version: 1.121.342 Issue: When loading a painting by ref to the gallery and then placing them in a different save, they will turn white. Repro Steps: Create a painting by ref in save game A Upload it in a room to the gallery/library Start a new save or load a different save Place the room on any lot Notice the painting turn white.
remove from family
So I have a bug. When I press shift and left click on random sims there is option called add to family. It's a normall sim none mods have been use to it. When I press shift and left click on sim I am missing the option called remove from family. And for some reason when I press shift and left click and when I press c to take a screenshot it dosen't shows all the options that shows up after when I click shift and left click on the mouse
'My Favorites' Not Loading Properly
When I open my Favorites section in the Sims 4 Gallery, it only displays up to 25 items, even though I have favorited significantly more than that. The additional items beyond the 25 are not visible, making it impossible to access or manage the rest of my favorited creations. Hello! I've noticed a bug lately that has occurred in multiple save files. When I place a beach lot from the gallery down, it reverts back to a residential lot when my sim visits in Live Mode. I have so far only noticed it happening on beach gallery lots specifically. All other community lots seem to remain as the correct venue in live mode. But every gallery placed beach reverts back to residential. It's not a huge deal since I can just change the lot type back to beach in live mode, but it is an annoyance to have to do it every time.
