Sims Medieval - Can't launch
I have owned, redeemed the codes and played the Sims Medieval for years through the EA app with no issue, including on Windows 11, and now I cannot get it to launch. (PC, Windows 11) Any time I try to open the game, it gives me the error message: "An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later.". I tried: repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, creating the powershell file, deleting documents folder, running as administrator, running compatibility mode Windows 7, running compatibility mode Vista, clean boot, trying to download the game on a different administrator user, uninstalling and reinstalling EA app, EA app recovery. I don't recall if there is anything else I tried, I have been trying for over a week now. I did notice something in my game library: under this game's page, I can see I own both the base game and the Pirates and Nobles dlc, but I still get the option to 'Purchase the game'. I tried contacting support, they kept moving me from agent to agent until one finally saw there was a problem in my registration of the game: " The system still behaves as if you don't fully own the content", (when answering if the code doesn't help): "No it will not, since as I have checked you already owe this game. " They tried forwarding the case to another team and told me to wait for it to be resolved, but it keeps getting closed and still saying 'unresolved', and every time I try to reach them again I have to convince them I already tried all the troubleshooting methods and explain the registration problem, which I still do not understand. Again, this game has been redeemed and perfectly playable thorough the EA app for years until suddenly there is now a problem with it not being fully registered as 'owned'. I'm posting here as was told by the support. I don't know how else to fix this problem, or who to contact to correct how the system reads this.
The Sims Medieval 2026
I am attempting to go down memory lane and play some Sims Medieval, but every time I attempt to launch it, EA gives me the not able to launch on our end, try again later error. I have done many things. Uninstall - Reinstall Repair Uninstall - Reinstall EA App Install DirectX 9 Install C++ Run in Windows 7 compatibility mode Run as admin Bypassing the EA app and launching through BIN Nothing has let me launch it. I have seen others play this game within the last year or so, but I haven't tried in a long time. Any help???The Sims Medieval won't launch
I just bought TSM almost 2 weeks ago. It has never been able to launch. It keeps giving me the error "Failed to launch game- an error on our end caused the game to fail. Try again a little later". It has never launched. I'm playing on Windows 11 pro, and all my drivers are up to date. I have more than enough ram, cpu etc for playing this game. I've read the forums and tried running from TSM.exe and got the same message. Thank you for your assistance.
Sims medieval
I have a huge problem with the sims medieval every time I play and go to save it throws me an error code 12 sometimes not 13 as a result I can't save the game and have to do the mission again from the beginning sometimes it really throws me and outside of the panchnidi I've tried everything I don't know why it does it it's tiring I know it's stopped it's been around for years but it's my favorite and the truth is that I recently remembered it because of the new sims 4 pack if you could fix the bugs it has I would appreciate it it's my favorite shame that it didn't make it to other packs

I uninstalled and re-downloaded the Sims Medieval and it didn't work at all. I downloaded powershell and ran this thing that was marked as a solution before: echo "Launch Sims Medieval..." I tried to use the EA contact support thing, but every time I said "The Sims Medieval won't launch" to the chat bot, it ended the conversation abruptly. I can't believe the state that EA is letting their app support slip to. This is so disappointing. Why would I ever buy another EA game if it's so hard to get support for them? And if you don't plan on keeping up with game maintenance for an old game, why re-release and re-sell it??The Sims Medieval won't launch.
Stick with me, this is going to be long. I have been fighting with this issue for over a YEAR. In 2020, I had my two accounts merged because I didn't realize I had purchased games on separate accounts and it was tedious going between the two just to play games. In February 2024, I attempted to download The Sims Medieval (TSM) on a new computer (Macbook), and got the error message stating that the Installation Verification Failure after the game downloaded, loaded, and went to the main screen to start a new game. I tried re-downloading it on my Windows desktop and had the same issue. I opened a case and went through all the standard troubleshooting with no solution. My case was closed and I can't even see the conversation anymore on my end. Yesterday, I attempted to re-download the game on a brand new Windows computer. It downloaded, launches, loaded, and then gave the exact same error message. I have since cleared the cache 10+ times, repaired the game probably twice as many times. I've talked to about 5 support people because the chat kept closing or in one case, the chat agent closed my case while I was still explaining something. I have tried the powershell script method, didn't work. I have tried running the EA App and TSM as an administrator, didn't work. One of the support people had me go into my command prompts and try and run a DISM and SFC, didn't work. They had me try updating graphics card drivers, didn't work. How about updating the VC++ stuff, didn't work. I've tried explaining that I'm fairly sure this was due to my account merge since all of this happened AFTER I merged my accounts. No one would hear of it and basically ignored that. I pointed out that it was probably a licensing issue because of the merge and the last person said that doesn't happen, even though I've attempted to run the game on numerous computers and different operating systems. The support people failed to read any of my previous correspondence with other support agents so I have been repeating myself for over three hours now (just today) to get a solution. I am extremely frustrated and tired of being told to clear my freaking cache when I have obviously done that.
