Lot Challenges: Missing from pack Text
All of the lot challenges (both from packs and BG) have the text to indicate what pack / game they are from. This is present in challenges like Reduce and Recycle (ECO) , and Off the Grid (BG) as pictured. However, this text is missing from a few lot challenges. Careers and Professions both have a description telling players what they are. This is missing for Part-Time Careers An idea for what could be written here may include: (18BC6BCC) Part-Time\nThese Jobs offer minimal hours, but are perfect for Sims who are juggling school, university, or any other commitments!

Infant, Toddler & Child Milestones disappear every time I go back into the game
Every time I come back into my game after being out of it for hours, or if I enter CAS and go back in live mode, milestones that were achieved in the last game session or a few sessions before that disappear. This applies to infants, toddlers and children for me. I don't understand why they keep disappearing. It's frustrating because then I have to achieve them all over again, which makes the game not as fun. Also, sometimes when I try to achieve them again, they do not unlock.Social event tasks not appearing
Hello Sims 4 Support Team, I am experiencing an issue in The Sims 4 where the tasks for social events do not appear. Whenever I try to organize or participate in social events, such as Sleepovers or Baby Showers, the usual task list that guides my Sims’ actions has not appeared for a few months, making it impossible to complete the events properly. This issue affects all events in this category and occurs across multiple households in my game. For context: I only use official DLC; I do not use mods or custom content. I launch the game via Steam and have already run a file integrity scan and reinstalled. I also tried a fresh reinstall, but the issue persists. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue or advise if there is a known solution or patch? Thank you very much for your help. Whenever I threw a house party and completed the tasks, the it kept repeatedly turning gold as if I was finishing it every second. It did not affect the game play, but it was very distracting and hard to look at because it was happening so much so fast. It kept doing it even after hiding and reopening the popup as well as switching Sims.
Severe lag after 1 hour of gameplay : requires restart
Hi, I'm experiencing a major performance issue that seems to affect a lot of players (I asked my community and many confirmed having the same problem). When I first launch the game, everything runs smoothly. Menus like Needs, Inventory, and Aspirations open instantly. Build/Buy mode is fine too, with maybe a tiny freeze the first time, but that’s normal. The issue is: the longer I play, the worse the game performs. - After around 30 minutes, the menus start to feel a bit slower. - After about an hour, the game becomes extremely laggy: - Opening the Needs panel takes a few seconds. - Build/Buy mode freezes for 5–6 seconds before opening. - The Eyedropper tool has a delay of around 2 seconds. - UI and general interactions become very sluggish. The only fix is to completely restart the game. After relaunching, everything is smooth again — but only temporarily. After another 30–60 minutes, the problem comes back. This isn’t a hardware issue. My PC setup: - Intel Core i9-12900K - 64 GB DDR5 RAM - NVIDIA RTX 4090 - Game installed on SSD - No mods, no CC - All expansion packs installed I also tend to play fast-paced, usually on speed 3. In one hour of real-time gameplay, I can go through 10–14 Sim days. It seems like the game is slowly filling up memory or cache that never clears unless I restart. It would be great to know if this has already been reported or tracked by the dev team, because it makes long play sessions really frustrating. I've ran into an issue where I can't directly click on most things. They either work just fine, work in only a specific spot, or I have to move my cursor to the side entirely just to click it. It's annoying, but not totally unplayable. I cleared my cache, disabled my mods, updated/removed the mods that were more than likely to cause this issue, and nothing worked. If you are affected by this issue, could you please provide the following info: What platform are you playing on ? Are you using mods/cc ? For PC: Could you post your Computer's DxDiag? Press Windows-Key + R Type: DxDiag Click on Save all Information. Attach the Text File to your post Are you playing in windowed/full window or fullscreen mode and does it help to switch ? What's your in-game resolution ? Do you have any overlay programs running in the back (like Discord)
