Game freezes after 1-2 minutes (also in menu)
After the latest update (installed it today) Secure Boot needs to be enabled. Now i'm having the issue that after a minute or 2, the game just completely freezes. This also happens on the BF6 open beta (in menu since it's not playable yet). For BF2042 it also happens in the menu, of ingame if I join Quick Match and loading times are fast. I've disabled Secure Boot, resetted it, removed keys and make sure its enabled. Update Nvidia drivers, did a rollback but nothing is working. Something is causing this crash without giving an error message. Conclusion of the update: One step forward, two steps back. Problems remaining: Bullet registration is really bad again. So the history path according to the fixes is: bad, better, bad. Instant kills. The moment I see the enemy, the same moment I die. No chance even to click the left button on the mouse. I shot the enemy in the face twice with a shotgun, 1 meter distance. No damage, obviously I died and I didn't even saw the mark of my hit. Vehicles do not have the same engagement/impact in the game as in previous versions. Many vehicles, many mines that can't kill a tank. I see in city maps the roads full of dots of mines like PacMan. The most impressive thing is when the aircraft or damaged tanks land next to the soldier, but after a while you feel like this is staged and the vehicle doesn't seem to be part of the action. In every game and every map, a tank dies only with rockets. Mines and C4 are no longer useful. Other vehicle equipment that is not used and does not offer any exciting experience. Only guys who camp near the base and wait the whole game just to manage to kill a tank once or twice. I guess they do this just to unlock something. Helicopters seem to be the most inconsequential object in the game. And while helicopters don't tie into the overall gameplay, you get a direct hit from a helicopter hovering (camping) so high in the sky, completely unrelated to the action. In BF3 and BF4 I had so many equipment choices to use, to adapt to the game and influence its outcome. Now the most of the gadget choices are not useful and do not affect the game. I told you before. Battlefield 2042 does not launch on PC due to EA AntiCheat kernel driver failing to load. The game shows the splash screen, EA AntiCheat service starts briefly, then crashes and stops. The EA AntiCheat service starts, then immediately stops. EA App is installed cleanly in the default directory: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\ Origin is not installed and no Origin registry entries remain. hi everyone i wanted to see if it was just me having this issue, for the past 2 weeks since the latest update i have been lagging in both redsec and multiplater casual breakthrough and several others. i have check all updates for my computer, drivers, cleaned it and made sure my connection is good. i also put all my graphic to low even tho i run a rtx 4060 intel i9 processor and 16 gig of ddr5 ram. but yet my ping keeps spiking and i always no matter the game have the packet loss and latency symbols up. i absolutely love this game but if i cant play to its potential due to either their servers messed up or what ever the problem is ima have to quit. is anyone else with high end computers running into this issue. to add in i have played other shooting games like COD and several MMORPG's on this laptop on home wifi and hot spot and never had any lag issues in the games.Latest EA Anticheat is causing Blue Screens
EA Javelin Anticheat September 23rd Build is causing blue screen of death. I have tried every known workaround. Yes I enabled memory integrity, rolled back my graphics drivers, updated my bios/re-enabled secure boot, toggled all the overlays, repaired/verified all the installations, etc. Please post here if you are having the same issues or have yet another workaroundGame keeps sending to Desktop after recent update today
Hi There, Every single time in try to start the a game in matchmaking, the game crashes and sends me back to desktop. No error provided. I see i'm receiving crashdump files in the game directory. I tried repairing the game, tried updating BIOS & drivers to see if this is the problem. Did not solve it. Please look into this
