Losing connection in 3rd period - Cup Chase
I have now lost connection to the EA servers about every other game in cup chase. I am winning these games but end up with the L simply because the game lags out. Not sure what happened because this was not occurring before some of the new updates. Also, please add more teams to cup chase like how single player used to be for hockey ultimate team where you could refresh opponents. Will cap you to 45 seconds on the ice then tank your stat but will have another line out for 4:30 of overtime just to put you in last second. X factor points just randomly disappearing, and if it has to do with buying something that gives you X factor points you should take that out or let me keep the ones i already paid for. You can only upgrade certain attributes with X factor points and traits, i currently have a 75 points in 44 games yet, I only have one blue X Factor? (example wrist shot acc and acceleration) Kind of goes with the last thing but why does energy tank your stats so bad to the point you lose x factors, makes it nearly impossible to get new X factors cause you constantly spend energy on stamina to keep your wheels or quick release. Not enough reward for being a “Superstar” player, and to add needs more either cutscenes or animation cause as an avid player of BAP it’s already getting boring. (Over 70 Games played and I've heard the coach pep talk like 5 times maybe) You have to wait a complete in game month before being able to buy any salary perks which in my opinion is useless, bring the old system back. Not trying to be a hater either, I think some change is great but I also wouldn’t call what happened to be a pro a complete redo. Goalies giving up a goal or multiple goals when simming, literally making a game unwinnable, I scored 4 but the other team scores 5 during simming and I lose?? See image to see I completed this “Move up to Powerplay 1” challenge and then was proceeded to be removed off of the powerplay entirely. Never had this issue with last year ever. The new be a pro's captaincy is so stupid. It only bases on your teammate and management likeability and both of them need to be at level of "trusted". Also the C letter just appeared in my jersey in MIDDLE OF THE SEASON and when my teammate likeability dropped to "liked" category few gsmes later, I wasn't the captain anymore and the C just dissapeared. I also couldn't be an alternate captain first. I think it's actually a real rule in the NHL that you can't change your captain in the middle of the season. It would be a lot better if you could become an alternate captain first and few years after become the captain if you're playing well.
Follow Up On World Of Chel Gear / Equipment
Just wanted to follow up on this. I know that a lot of the goalie gear and other world of chel gear had to be removed as a "Temporary" fix due to it being to much at once. That being said the game has since seen two major update pushes to the store including two new avatars and a refresh of other related areas. As such I was wondering if there was a timeline on when the store might be expected to be fully functioning as it was intended for equipment purposes? Also if the plan is for the "Branded" gear to also be on a time clock as other gear is.
No Custom Rosters in BAP?
I have started 5 different BAP careers so far and as soon as I get drafted, I see that the game is using the default rosters from launch. Any updated rosters or custom rosters don't load so Marner is still in Toronto, not Vegas and K'Andre Miller is still on the Rangers not Carolina. Another community manager said that you can only use custom rosters if you create a career and go straight to the NHL because the game won't load custom rosters for the U20 Worlds. What? Why? How does using custom rosters in an offline BAP mode matter? I am happy wiht the changes to bAP mode, it is what made me give this year a shot after skipping NHL 25 becasue BAP was untouched since 2023. So the revamped BAP had me excited to get back in, but this one flaw totally ruins any kind of immersion. I get that if you play season to season, the game may trade players to different teams that don't match real world trades, but guys what is this? the NHL Multiverse? This has to be an oversight and surely it could be fixed easily. this wouldn't call for a major code refactoring or rebuild of the BAP (if it does...good lord what are you guys doing over there?) give this a fix! please!
