Cant edit Thrustmaster T598 buttons after latest patch
After update 1.013.000 on PS5 Pro I can’t edit my buttons anymore on my Thrustmaster T598 all profiles say error on them and won’t recognise when a button is pressed when trying to change layout. The wheel works but I can’t map a rewind button. I am using Thrustmaster T598 with Thrustmaster 488 GT3 wheel. I now also have to use red mode for wheel to be recognised also. CM EDIT: Hey everyone, ❗ Workaround: If you can't edit the Thrustmaste T598 buttons after the latest patch, please try switching to blue mode. The wheel manual is here for further instructions. In case you're having issues with another Thrustmaster model apart from T598, please let us know. For those with issues on the Logitech wheels, please refer to the following threads: Patch 1.13 Logitech G Pro DD Wheel Choppy FFB | EA Forums - 12766464 & Logitech RS50 with no FFB & Trueforce and no Binding Available | EA Forums - 12769322. Latest update: This issue should now be fixed with today's patch. You can find the patch notes here: F1® 25 - v1.14 - PATCH NOTES | EA Forums - 12892300. Thanks so much for your patience while we worked on getting this fixed! -EA_cuervo2.4KViews30likes56CommentsF125 no force feedback Logitech g923
Cannot get force feedback to work on my g923 wheel in any game mode. I have tried reinstalling hardware drivers and the game itself. Adjusted in-game settings and ghub settings before going on track and while on track to no affect. Same with unplugging the wheel while in the pause menu. Confirmed registry settings and physical connections. Wheel works perfectly fine on all my other racing games1.6KViews14likes13CommentsLogitech G923 Problem
I have just purchased a Logitech G923 to replace my old Logitech G29 wheel which has worked with no problems at all since I purchased it 8 or 9 years ago. I bought the new wheel to take advantage of the Trueforce technology. I run it with F1 25 (ver. 1.5) on a PC. When starting any session in F1 25, my new wheel works properly & all is well until I have to use the Rewind feature (which, unfortunately is quite often!). As soon as I start racing again the wheel does not feel quite as good & sounds awful all the time. Instead of being smooth & quiet when running it sounds as if the internal motors are full of sand/grit & vibrates my desk, making loud, unpleasant noises. When I run over rumble strips it feels nothing like running over the kerbs. Before using the rewind button, when I run over a kerb it sounds & feels exactly what you would expect this to feel like & what it is obviously supposed to be like. The awful sounds & poor feel then continues for the rest of the session no matter what I try. The only ways I have found to revert back to the proper feel are:- 1 Restarting the session 2 Leaving the track I am on & going to another circuit 3 Unplugging the wheel from the USB socket & then plugging it in again. This works during the current session but is obviously annoying to have to do this each time I use the Rewind button. It does enable me to continue my current session with the wheel working properly. 4 Closing & restarting the program. It therefore appears to me that there is a bug somewhere that is introduced in the software that controls the wheel as soon as the Rewind button is pressed. Other than this issue, the game has run perfectly for me from the day it was released. I presume my problem is easy to reproduce at your end & await comment from you as soon as possible in the hope that the issue can be solved & I can enjoy years of us from the G923, just as I have from my G29. Thank you in advance. Lee Tucker1.4KViews15likes27CommentsLogitech RS50 with no FFB & Trueforce and no Binding Available
After the patch, my Logitech RS50 became unusable. In PRO compatibility, it has no FFB or Choppy FFB with no trueforce (it was perfect before). In RS compatibility it is recognized but has no FFB and I can't change the controls, they all have an "error" message.Force feed back issues related to frame rate
Uncapped fps (200+) causes sudden burst or loss of force feed back and even turns by itself even with the car stopped, capping my fps to 190 or less fix the issue even if the ffb still feels a bit off, i've got a g29 but there are other people with different wheels encoutering the same issue and getting it fixed by also capping their fps, ive talked to a guy that had to cap it to 60 fps in order to make the wheel behave normally, this shouldnt be a permanant fix to this issue. It actually feels feels like the wheel force feedback is not in sync with the game and therefore the wheel feels laggy and not sharp as in f1 23Thrustmaster t598
When using the steering wheel and pedals on the ps5, the game does not default to t598 as primary controller on first launch. If ps5 is put into rest mode it remembers t598 was set as primary and no issue. Theres no way to know ps5 controller is default until you start a race and getting to the first turn and steering doesn't work but pedals are ok. Another issue is after crashing the car and restarting the race. The wheel does not reset to 0. So when you launch at lights out the car turns and crashes straight into the start grid.Asetek Wheel Compatibility (La Prima & Forte)
on the mentioned wheelbases, the driving feels "off" as if is recongized as controller rather than wheel. the virtual steering wheel in-game shakes when going off track but the movement doesn't reflect the actual wheel's movement. I'm also noticing how on high-speed corners, the wheel rotation is not reflected on the virtual steering wheel whilst on low speed it matches perfectly (the wheel rotation settings both in-game and in Asetek's software are matching perfectly) I don't see any reason why those 2 wheel bases (La Prima & Forte) shouldn't be supported, as the Invicta instead is correctly recognized.Force Feedback Bug on Logitech G923
Platform: PC (Steam) Wheel: Logitech G923 Pedals: Thrustmaster TLCM OS: Windows 11 Every time I start a new race in F1 25—whether it's Grand Prix, Multiplayer, or Time Trial—Force Feedback does not work until I manually go into the control settings and reapply or change something. This happens consistently and makes it necessary to repeat this process before every single race. Steps to Reproduce: Launch F1 25 Start any race mode (e.g. Grand Prix, Multiplayer, or Time Trial) Begin the session without touching the settings Notice that Force Feedback is either completely off or feels wrong Go into the settings menu and adjust any control/FFB option or re-select your preset Return to the race—Force Feedback now functions correctly Expected Behaviour: Force Feedback should work automatically when starting any race, without needing to enter and adjust settings. Actual Behaviour: Force Feedback only activates properly after manually changing a control settings or reapplying the preset for each race session. Hardware Setup: Logitech G923 with TrueForce Thrustmaster TLCM pedals connected via USB All devices connected via wired USB Using latest version of Logitech G Hub What I've Tried: Verifying game files via Steam Updating Logitech G Hub Disabling TrueForce Reinstalling the game Issue persists in all race modes Extra Notes: This issue did not exist in F1 24. It seems the game does not properly initialize Force Feedback unless settings are manually refreshed. This adds unnecessary steps before each session and breaks immersion for wheel users.Severe FFB Issue with Direct Drive Wheels
Dear F1 25 Support Team, I’m writing to report a serious issue with the force feedback (FFB) implementation in F1 25 when using direct drive wheels. I am currently using a Simagic Alpha EVO 12Nm wheelbase, and the force feedback in the game feels extremely notchy and stepped, with a lack of smoothness that makes it nearly unusable for serious sim racing. This is not an isolated case—I've gone to a professional sim equipment retailer, to thoroughly test the hardware. There, we re-tested my own equipment and also tried other direct drive wheels, including models from Conspit and Fanatec. Unfortunately, the problem persisted across all setups when using F1 25, indicating that this is not a hardware or driver issue, but rather a compatibility or software issue with the game’s FFB engine itself. For reference, the FFB works flawlessly in other racing sims such as iRacing, Assetto Corsa, and ACC, so I’m confident that the issue lies with how F1 25 handles FFB on direct drive wheels. This is a major problem for the sim racing community, especially for users with higher-end equipment. I hope your team can escalate this issue for urgent investigation and resolution. Looking forward to your response. Best regardsThrottle pedal not accelerating
My throttle does not work when trying to accelerate, when in customize test buttons it registers being pressed but the throttle bar doesn't rise the brake works fine. I then switched the pedals and both worked fine, so guessing this as a bug rather than a fault with the wheel base. A quick fix would help. Thanks.
