HELP US EA
To: Electronic Arts (EA) Leadership and PopCap Games Development Team Subject: Community Request for the Revival of Live Service Content for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Dear EA and PopCap Teams, We, the dedicated and active community of Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 (GW2), are writing to you to formally request the revival of the game's live service content, including the return of its rotational events, character updates, and previously limited-time content. Despite the game no longer receiving major new content, its player base has seen significant resurgences, particularly following recent sales. This proves that the game still holds immense appeal and has a strong, ready-made audience eager for official support. Here are the primary reasons why reviving GW2's live content would be a massive win for the community and a smart investment: 1. The Value of Returning Events and Updates The game's original events were key to its sustained success and replayability. Bringing them back would instantly revitalize the game's social and competitive aspects: Town Hall Events and Mystery Portals: These rotating game modes (like Boss Hunts, Capture the Taco, and Cats vs. Dinos) offered fresh, fun experiences and kept players logging in daily. Restoring a consistent, rotating schedule for these modes would immediately increase engagement. Community Challenges: The original community challenges (via the Progress-o-meter) were excellent motivators for collaborative play, giving the entire player base a common goal and a sense of shared accomplishment, which is vital for community health. Seasonal Content: Reintroducing the classic seasonal events like Lawn of Doom (Halloween) and Feastivus (Christmas) would tap into holiday excitement and offer a nostalgic return to fun, themed cosmetics and challenges. 2. The Demand for Limited-Time Characters and Content A core frustration for newer or returning players is the permanent unavailability of certain legendary items and characters. Restoring access to this content would reward the dedicated player base: Rux's Inventory Refresh: The in-game vendor Rux sold unique character pieces, customizations, and abilities for a limited time. A consistent, weekly or monthly rotation of Rux's stock—even if it is old content—is critical for players to complete their collections. Limited-Time Character Variants: Characters such as the Unicorn Chomper (a loyalty reward from GW1) and the Z7 Imp (a deluxe edition bonus) are still highly coveted. While some limited characters require special consideration, finding a way to make them available, even temporarily or through a difficult new challenge, would be celebrated by the community. 3. A Low-Cost, High-Impact Investment Compared to developing a brand-new title, restoring and maintaining GW2's existing content rotation is a relatively low-effort investment for a huge return in player goodwill and activity. Technical Simplicity: The content, maps, and modes already exist within the game's code. This is not a request for new characters or maps, but simply the re-implementation of the existing event rotation system. Long-Term Community Loyalty: Showing this level of support for a classic game would be a powerful demonstration of listening to your fans, which could translate into stronger loyalty for future PvZ and EA titles. We sincerely believe that by restoring these core rotational systems and re-activating the fan-favorite events, you can significantly and efficiently boost player retention and overall excitement for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2. Thank you for your time and consideration of this request. Sincerely, The Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 CommunityPVZ GW2 NEED RETURN EA

I have played the xbox one version before at the tail end of 2019 with no issues in multiplayer. But I sold my copy of it and went back to the xbox 360 version. 2 days ago I picked up the xbox one version again, and whenever I try to play multiplayer I get this error. I have an open NAT type and a strong internet connection. I can play garden warfare 2 fine on xbox one and PC, and I can play garden warfare 1 fine on PC and xbox 360. Any help or suggestions about this issue would be greatly appreciated. (I play on xbox one S specifically)XBOX linking with EA, child account not allowed, even with 18+ content setting
Problem: XBOX child account cannot install or play any online games with EA using Game Pass, not even Plants vs. Zombies Battle for Neighborville, which is a game with 7 years age limit. If you create a account with parental email, you come up with 404 error on EA App and game cannot be installed or played. This happens with both PC XBOX app and XBOX console. Age limit on XBOX account and EA account have no effect at all with this. Also if you create a new EA account (adult), it is not possible to link the account to XBOX account even if parental settings are changed to allow 18+ content. Also you cannot unlink EA account yourself, EA chat support is needed! What is wrong with you EA? This is extremely hostile against paying customers! I have tried to sort this with chat, I have tried new account 3 times and now that I want to ask about linking that new adult EA account, EA chat is inaccessible completely, have I been blocked some how?? I am NOT creating a new XBOX adult games account for my child to allow unrestricted content, this would also mean losing progress on other games!I'm unable to open the DLC gifts in the sticker shop.
Today, 08/14/25, I was buying the Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 DLCS from the PS5 store. However, I ended up accumulating the packs I purchased. So, when I reached 49 gifts, whenever I went to the gifts in the sticker shop, I always ended up getting a soft lock and the DLCs I purchased never loaded. So, I spent $400, but it ended up being wasted because I couldn't open the gifts. Is there a solution to fix this soft lock in the console version? I noticed that when I reach 49 or more, the game always ends up getting this soft lock. An example video is attached. I play in Console.Possible PVZ BFN revival and missing content to come to the live game
Hi I am new to the EA Forums but been playing pvz gw 1 and 2 along with bfn for a few years only recently just got back into them. I just wanted to ask what would everyone's thoughts on trying to get a revival for PVZ BFN to get new updates. Such as new characters, bosses, game modes, maps, and customisations, etc. Would everyone be up for this as it lost its chance to become possibly something great and if so could people help push for this to try and happen. Along with maybe getting new things to be added to PVZ GW2 it the PVZ BFN doesn't work as it would be great. I really look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts and maybe hearing from some of the EA members as well Many thanks for everyone's time I hope you all have an amazing morning/afternoon/evening/night
