I saw below a post by a Chinese player voicing many of the bugs and issues plaguing the GW2 servers, and you as a team have said nothing for years about the state of GW and PVZ as a franchise but were quick within minutes to silence this player. Please instead take this criticism up to people on the team so that the game we all love can be fixed. Below is what they said. Since early April 2026, the Garden Warfare 2 servers have been plagued by rule set modifications, including 1 hp, invisibility, and others. Cheaters have infected every region and every game mode. No matter how hard we try, all servers are infected. At least for this small community, please at least reset the servers. They didn't say anything wrong, and I just want any response or attention to this matter plaguing the servers at the moment.GW2 is unable to reach 100% and unable to launch on Steam Deck. POPCAP plz.
I don't understand why EA/PopCap refused to give any love to one of their most beloved franchises under their belt. Not only is there a subpar anti-cheat being added, locking out a portion of the player base while still not protecting players, but the current players can't even 100% the game due to design oversights. If there were any way for them to allow Steam Deck players to have crossplay or cross-save, this game would have a resurgence. We've seen it maintain thousands of players despite the lack of updates, and instead of making a new game or fixing the old one, they let it slowly get taken over by cheaters while they release another AI-generated remaster of your childhood game, and they can't even include the minigames across the various versions of Plants vs. Zombies. Really, what is EA/PopCap thinking? I can't be the only one with these thoughts.
[Resolved] Change the Mystery Portal Rotation, Please!
There are multiple achievements that are unobtainable at the moment (Check this post for more information about them) There are 5 achievements tied to game modes you cannot play anymore. How you used to play these game modes is when they would go live in the Town Hall Mystery Portal for a limited time. In January back in 2020, the Mystery Portal was changed. PopCap stopped supporting Garden Warfare 2 to continue development on Battle for Neighborville. To avoid shutting down the Mystery Portal, they made the Mystery Portal automated by making it rotate game modes based off of a list of what to play dependent on what month. The problem with this rotation is that they didn't include any live event game modes that have achievements tied to them. So at the moment, getting all GW2 achievements is actually impossible. (Check the post I linked above for what they are.) Current Rotation: - January: Lawn-A-Thon 1 - Febuary: Lawn-A-Thon 2 - March: Legends of the Brawl - April: Capture the Taco - May: Tactical Team Up - June: To Heal or Not - July: Rando's Rapid Revenge - August: Lawn-A-Thon 1 - September: Lawn-A-Thon 2 - October: Legends of the Brawl - November: To Heal or Not - December: Rando's Rapid revenge In my opinion, the most favorable option would be getting someone from the community to make a schedule everyone is happy with. A different solution that's automated, and easier to do would be exchanging some of the game mode repeats in the list for game modes like Cats vs. Dinos and Boss Hunt. For example, you can replace the repeated August Lawn-A-Thon 1 with Cats vs. Dinos, and September's Lawn-A-Thon 2 with Boss Hunt. All of the content with these game modes are in the game when you download it, so releasing an update that players need to download wouldn't be necessary. The only problem I see with this is that Boss Hunt has 4 different playable hunts, Brothers Gnomus, Yeti King, Spooky Squash, and Sasquatch. You would have to pick one of these to put into the rotation, but I think implementing a system that makes the game randomly pick one of them when you enter the portal to play is the best choice instead of picking 1 and neglecting the other 3.
Request for Offline Mode on Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 1
Hey EA. Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare requires a persistent live connection despite stating It has a solo mode within Garden Ops, It's been 13 years since the games released and It's nearly completely inaccessible to anyone that'd still want to play It because the community is inactive regardless of region hopping, and the features are trapped behind a paywall, there shouldn't need to be small dedicated communities to keep a loved game alive, It's adored , not hyped over anymore, we need to save It and allow the people who want to play It play It. It would be great if a small QoL patch could add a proper offline option for preservation. Just something basic like AI-only modes that don't require login, plus local save for progress in local multiplayer and Garden Ops while leaving all the original online features completely untouched. adding offline support would help keep it playable for the long term for anyone who just wants to be able to play the game without relying on live services. I know the game became popular recently and i went to log back onto my account. I forgot the reason i stoped playing many years ago was because all of my progress got deleted. I remember it failing to sync many times and back in the day the only thing i saw was to restart from scratch. I played the tutorial and needed up with nothing and none of my stuff. Am i screwed or is there something EA can do. I want to play this game so bad but all my progress is just gone i had almost everything unlocked im not wasting time restarting .im on Xbox.Lost Data.. EA PLEASE HELP MEEE
I lost all my data from the game and I lost everything. I login in to the game on my pc to try to play it on there so i had to login in to EA and when i did that i lost everything from the game and i had previously played on Xbox like way back and i had everything on it still but then I when I tried to play on my pc i had lost everything, then I logged back in on my Xbox and i still had nothing on my Xbox and I don't know why. Like all I want is my all my stuff back like i had everything and its just gone now years of work gone like what can i do to fix it someone please help me please EA help me. I did change accounts like i used a different email and I even tried going back to the old email and it still wasn't there like can someone please help me or even EA please help me get all my stuff back that all my childhood self worked so hard to get please help me.
What is Going On w/ PVZ BFN?
I keep getting brought back to this title screen and cannot login. EA support seems like a phishing scam asking for all my personal information like IP address and cc info, home address, cell etc. I’m so confused as to why they would need this! I LOVE this game and am so upset that neither of us can login today 3/12/26. I was on support for 4 hrs and they kept “transferring” me.PVZ garden warfare 1 Australian servers seem to be down. (xbox one specific)
I and several others have attempted to join games on the Xbox one pvz garden warfare servers (In Australia specifically) and been met with this error in the past few months. This is Xbox one specific, the xbox 360 and PC servers seem to be working fine. and I'm pretty sure the same goes for playstation too. My NAT type is open, and there seems to be no issues on anyone's end except for EA's server. I can even hotspot a VPN to my xbox and play on American servers with no issue. I know the playercount here is lower than in America and the UK, but there is a small and dedicated playerbase who will continue to spend money, and recommend others the game, so long as it's playable. Which it isn't right now outside of ops.
