(10PM UPDATED) [Urgent] Apple Issue: 10/1/ 2024

Hello Apple Users, 

If you are getting this or a similar message: 

There is a current issue between Apple's iOS and our new Update and will not allow you to get into the game. 

We will be contacting Apple to figure out a resolution. 

In the meantime, the workaround we have found is uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. 

 

6pm Update: The team is still working with Apple to figure out a resolution 

8PM Update: No new information to provide, teams are still working on it. 

10PM Update: Both teams will pick this back up in the morning, this will be the last update until then.

    Question, will uninstalling the game remove my progress? My account is not linked to game centre on IOS so my understanding is that my game data would also be uninstalled. Hope I am wrong but if not that should be made clear to people before they uninstall.

      In my experience, if it's on the phone, it's still there.  I'd suggest linking it to your Game Center because it will be lost if you ever get a new device.

    Uninstalling the game, once out of multiple attempts, let me see main game screen. Only for a few seconds. Then the same error screen returned.

    Guildmate uninstalled and now the App Store says it's not available in his area (AZ, USA).

      The learn more button is a link that takes you to the app store to see a pop up that informs the reader that the app is no longer available in their country.

      Even though you can then turn around and download and reinstall the app from the Apple app store.

    Can’t even load the game, gets to the main screen (Anakin vs Kenobi) then a load icon like a OTA update has been applied.. Crash n burn. Restart, same again .

    Since the update, mine connects to Game Centre and the splash screen flashes Downloading 675MB of 940MB then crashes to Home Screen.
    iOS17.6.1 in UK region.
