Morning folks,
The team is aware of and investigating the Conquest issue.
We've determined that its due to a missing asset for one of the backgrounds, which is why it doesn't happen each attempt you go into a Conquest attempt.
This will hopefully be fixed in this weeks update.
Once fixed, I will discuss with the team about some form of compensation.

A missing asset? Wow, the coders are really that bad. It's like Intro to Programming to always check that a call to an external file succeeds. This is why.
It does persist. Do one battle, if the score is higher than your last you get a new high score, else your previous best is posted.
How about you fix the coliseum while your at it? Your initial post said our high score would persist through the era, but I still have to battle everyday for score even though I'm level capped and can't progress any further. More lies from cg, don't post things and not follow through with them it's infuriating. I don't want to waste my time each day on a mode I can't do anymore in
For anyone reading, best not to use crystals on refreshes for conquest energy right now, as the chances get even bigger you will be losing energy due to infinite loading screens
+100 energy lost here on 20 battles
Started happening from sector 2 for me
Hi, It happened so many times yesterday, even three times in a row. It's really annoying. We have to earn the Matz now because the DC will be dissolved tomorrow and so many resources will be lost for nothing.
For me minimum 20 to 30 times on the way to Sector 5.
Not funny for us player.
Thanks CG_Meathead. I haven't lost nearly as much currency as others, but I do hope that we'll be able to use whatever compensation is provided during the current conquest. Unless the plan is to wildly and irrationally overcompensate us, in that situation I'll happily wait a bit longer. lol 😂
Acknowledging a problem is not accountability, especially when there are no changes promised to fix it and prevent it reoccurring. All of these bugs are reoccurring. There's no promise to check releases better, to make sure their processes are updated and all assets are included, etc. etc.
I'd love to credit CG for positive change, they just haven't given us any reason to in the last ~12 months.
Thank the maker a fix is coming. I just read this and posted to the guild. Then went to do a battle and sure enough I GOT THE BUG AGAIN!! Lovely.
lost 60 energy to this bug so far, hoping we're gonna get plenty of energy back as compensation soon. also, should relic delta be turned on in conquest? because it doesnt appear to be. would be real nice if my relic 9s and 10s were able to carry through the early stages easier
