Capital Games TeamYou should be able to join the TW now, and if the hotfix comes, you can hit the leave button on the opposite side of the join and leave the TW. You will be able to join again right after you leave it.
while yes this is technically true, i believe the sentiment behind the original message was that CG stated they were targeting EOD today for the hotfix, which would allow for most people to have the time to lock into TW with all their DCs fixed. if they release it later tonight, that will restrict hsv216s DCs, but very likely not all of the opponents, depending on where they are from. so hsv would be at a significant disadvantage due to CG. which is again not fair. if they can at least post and tell us "sorry but its gonna take until EOD tomorrow" then people can go to sleep knowing they wont get screwed over while they sleep. or if they tell us "we are working late to get this pushed out today" then people can choose to either wake up early or stay up late, either way it gives us control. right now we are all again at the mercy of whenever this fix gets pushed out, without knowing any information about when thatll actually occur.
Look, I know this is frustrating, and CG did mess up, but it will be TW possibly messed up. There's always the next one.
