We are aware that Executor fleets with Punishing One are beating Leviathans in their respective Fleet shards. We are investigating and keeping an eye on this to see if further action is needed.
Capital Games TeamCG probably rushed to get things back on track after Marrok's late release and didn't do as much testing as they normally do.
Don't you guys realize how bad this is ? You have a leviathan journey that is probably the most expensive journey up to date. And you had people spending money to farm it so they can secure their fleet payments and GAC fights.
And all of a sudden you release the punishing one (while previously saying that it will not affect exec vs levi matchups which mislead the people to continue spending on getting levi) and woe and behold, a free 3 star punishing one is demolishing Levi's left and right. I spent months and hundreds of dollars to get the leviathan, and 2 days before its release you gave everyone for free the ability to beat the strongest and most expensive fleet there is ?
This will push a lot of paying people away from the game is all I am saying, if you bait the money for a meta fleet then release a freebie that counters said meta. It's just sad as you are becoming like all those gatcha games that release, do a quick cash grab and abandon the game
This is a critic for developers and people pulling the strings, CG_Meathead thank you for keeping us updated.

First time i've bought the $30 back and spent some crystals. Then you see a post like this and you get that sick feeling in your stomach like you just got scammed.
How obvious is it that you don't test your game when this can easily do what you said it won't do well at?
Seriously if this gets nerfed I'm never spending a single cent on this game again.
Lol here we go again... Been playing since the beginning. "Debacles" like this have happened FAR too many times to be accidents. One could not design and debug the unit without running it to test performance. You would have to be a fool to think this was unintentional. They knew before release. I know it, you know it, they know it.
If you are a paying customer, the best move is to buy it now. If they do make a change it will be a long while, this is not not a high priority profit-affecting issue. Much more likely is another follow-up Leviathan lifter to counter the P1, which the whales will buy, right before the new Capital Ship with new Marquee ships and Conquest ship, which the whales will also buy.
A release like this floods the competition at the top end, and the follow-ups see the "tip of the $pear" emerge again, leaving those that bought the P1 complaining that their purchase has been rendered obsolete ...
Buy it now or don't. It will be months before any changes happen.
A 5 star P1 beats a full R9 Levi fleet, which is great news because that means there are absolutely zero incentive to pay to get Levi (or any other ship, for that matter). GC just undermined their own cash flow.
If your Levi fleet is already R9, then there is no cash flow associated with it, you already did it. Fret not, they will let you stew on this for a bit and then give you something new to buy to boost your R9 Levi fleet back to the top.
Indeed. But figured I'd let others know, so they can save the trouble of getting an R9 Levi fleet, since there's no point in that with P1 out.
CG needs a new testing team ASAP. If they nerf P1 they are gonna get a lawsuit no doubt. This is just like "pulling the rug" in trades and stocks.
