[FIXED] Issue - Jar Jar Event - Shield Generator

Hello Folks, 

The team is aware of and looking into an issue with the Jar Jar Event where the Shield Generator has less stacks of plasma than it should. 

EDIT NOTE: 


Taught the Gungan Shield Generator how to count. It should now correctly gain +10 Plasma Shield in the Bombad General Jar Jar Binks event (and description updated to match). Note: The previous event worked this way, this fix is to make it align with its previous function

    Hate to say it but this kinda stuff is happening to often now with SWOGH and really makes you wanna put the game down.....is it to much to ask for you to actually test big events before re-launching?

      The game has definitely been more frustrating than fun as of late.  I am getting closer to setting it down.  Not just the bugs but the insane over-tuning on the Galactic Challenges, ridiculous Datacrons, etc.

    9.5 hours after the event started and you're just now responding to this? How does anyone in that office even have a job? This is one of the most incompetent Dev teams I've ever seen in my life.

      it launches at midnight local time for the dev's office.  Call me old fashioned, but I don't think anyone should have to be working at midnight unless they are working a position that is a 24/7 critical operations center or something.

        Yeah, but there is no need to launch at their midnight. Just launch it when working hours begin and be ready to fix it.

        Its not the first time, that this went horrible.

        Just remember first time Geonosis, with the added bonus, they went in holiday after the broken launch

      You do know they only got into their office like 1.5 hours ago, logged in to see the issue that everyone's complaining about double check it's real, (yes they have to do that) , then write up the "appropriate" approved response to the situation.

      I'll all for giving CG flak and ridicule for things they mess up like broken Datacrons and the immortal Grievous twice in a row. But you still have to expect them to have a life outside if work, and be allowed to sleep.

        Simple testing would have easily prevented this. This is lazy quality control. The event never should have started in a bugged state as it is now. It's clearly obvious the morons on this dev team don't test anything

      Because no video game developer operates 24x7. They'll respond to the issues when they get into the office in the morning. I'm sure the devs were well aware before Meathead's post because the issue is all over social media including these forums, Reddit, Discord, and Facebook.

    It's really great to see that the limited time event for the important raid character is broken 3 months after it launched. 10/10 five stars.

    Here's a question for you.

    WHY did you, or anyone for that matter, feel the need to adjust anything on this event when it ran smoothly before? 

    Was it your intention to make it more difficult for those not paying to win the first time through? Sort of punishing those that didn't open their wallets? Seems that it was good and functional before, so why change it?...

    If you had left it alone, this would not have been an issue at all.

      Who said anything was "adjusted"? 

      Did you already conveniently forget about the bug that allowed any 5th member to be with Gungans and the Shield Generator would still work? This is likely the result of something that changed to fix that. Fix one bug, introduce another.

        Looking at original videos, the shield generator starts with 20 stacks instead of the intended 15. So I imagine they tried to “fix” it to do what it should do and be 15, but instead messed it up and stop the additional 5 too

    Thanks, with work /life balance already an issue, bugged events that require multiple attempts or can't be won just add to the chore this game is becoming. Oh Look! Conquest in a few hours, hurry and finish GAC. Who has all this time for this nonsense?

    You need to *immediately* extend this run of the event a few more days and this should be the highest priority fix (though it benefits the players, and we all know CG never prioritizes fixes that would benefit players, just fixes that take away player power).

    Unacceptable the event was allowed to run in this state.

      Calm down, no they don't. The event has only been live now for 12 hours. You have 6.5 days left as of right now and it looks like a patch is inbound in about 45 minutes. That will still leave people well over six days.
