Naboo Raid Adjustments

Hello Holotable Heroes, 

We have made some adjustments to the Naboo Raid which should be implemented in our next update.

  • The Command Droid's special ability now starts on cooldown. The cooldown has been reduced to 2 turns from 3.
  • The Command Droid can no longer give itself a bonus turn with the Charged modifier.
  • There is now a status effect on the Command Droid that indicates the number of turns remaining until it is able to use its special ability, so it can more easily be tracked.

    The changes aren't live yet. I'm currently running the Lumi team (this is the last day of our current run, I waited to see if the changes would be implemented). Nothing. Command Droid can still use his Special on the first turn, he can still take bonus turns, most visually noticeable there is no status icon for his Special ability. It looks more like you're just having the not-so uncommon case of rotten RNG.

    Edit: I just now realized it might be because we're already running the raid, but still, there was nothing in the hot-fix yesterday, even the people in the comments section are asking about the changes.

    First attempt using Luminara lead with these changes and it's made such a difference. May have been full-auto, but I gave it a little targeting help just in case. Thank you for this.

    100% what happened to me over and over and over.  You need to kill it in one shot on the turn it doesn't have damage immunity, but by then the enrage counter has gained 20%

  • Hey CG_Meathead why is the "cooldown" only 3 turns for the very first time it happens?  I watched it multiple times and that cooldown increase for 3 turns only happens on the very first volley of EACH Wave.  After that first time it cools down from 3, it goes right back to doing the special ability every other turn.  So the command droid is literally doing the buff removal every. other. turn.

    This actually made my Luminara team get shut down even faster. In wave ONE, my team isn't hitting for squat and is at 56% to enrage with three droids left and that **bleep** command droid going full blown buff removal every other turn.  Which, strips POTENCY off the Jedi that are supposed to have it so they can hit harder? 

    Was the intent of this update to push us to R9 our entire naboo raid list or something?  If you don't take out the entire group of droids within 2 turns, you get stuck because of this stupid mechanic "update", even on Tier 5.  Hopefully this is a bug that  you all are going to fix ASAP.

     

  • These changes are just what the raid needed.  Still challenging, but much more achievable with less RNG.  This is the raid we should have had at launch, then the community might not of lost as many good players as we did.
