Rogue One Investigation

Hi Holotable Heroes, 

Ships have always had a razor-edge meta that is hard to make adjustments to without something inadvertently slipping through the cracks. With the release of Rogue One, and with it the elevation of Profundity over Executor, we wanted a simple, obvious update to the meta the players could get behind. This involves the continued superiority of Leviathan as the fleet at the top. However we’re seeing reports that the cracks are wider than we had originally accounted for, and so we are investigating Profundity/Leviathan matchups as well as continually monitoring how both ships continue to fare against one another.

We wanted to give you a heads up that there may be an adjustment to Profundity/Rogue One (and/or possibly Leviathan) in the future to help bring this matchup to be in-line with the original intent for Rogue One’s place in the meta. For the time being, however, we do not anticipate a hot fix for this specific issue.

    At this point can we please just have CG sell the game to someone who actually gives a **bleep**? NO relict delta! NO more meddling with fleets! And no more skipping over changes that we actually WANT and that actually MATTER.

    Nobody cares about the meta and how ships affects other ships, because it won't matter to most players if they leave due to relic data.

    Despite my former comment, thank you for taking to time to address this issue, however it just feels like at the current moment there are bigger fish to fry.

    I see this a non-issue as your basically using a "GL fleet" to beat another "GL fleet" and it helps keep the meager meta health with a Rock Papers Scissors approach. but this only holds true if they don't keep babying Levi.

    first the pirate era next qumir then relic delta now yet another leviathan buff.......

    I think you should probably implement a change where only players who spend more than $1,000 per month have access to fleet victories, and everyone else gets a 95% damage reduction penalty. That sounds right doesn't it?
