Hello Holotable Heroes, 

With today's update we have made an adjustment to certain fleet masteries that will allow the events to be visible for players who do not have 330 shards of the ship. 

  • Endurance
  • Home One
  • Executrix
  • Raddus (Must also be level 60+)
  • Finalizer (Must also be level 60+)

If you have any of these ships at 330 shards or more they will no longer be accessible to you. 

Players who do not have a ship at 330 blueprints will be able to complete this event once a day and will refresh at reset

      At this point, it's almost like they're deliberately thinking of ways to give players fewer free resources. 

      They took away Assault Battles that were accessible for most players. (Don't let this get buried.)
      They made it harder for players to get comparable GC rewards unless they spend. 
      They took away squad arena currency from dailies. 
      Now they're taking away shard shop currency from people who have ships at 7*. 

      What else am I forgetting from this list?

        Technically all the daily rewards from challenges is just rolled into the box for completing the dailies if you ever cared to look at it...

      "Players who do not have a ship at 330 blueprints will be able to complete this event once a day and will refresh at reset" This is a HUGE win for early game I am willing to give up my bit of SSC for new players not to have to wait a year to get these ships up now it takes 10 days to go from 6 to 7 stars.

    What is wrong with you guys? Did an idiot get out in charge? Is the aim to irritate the player base soo much they all quit? Stop making anti player decisions. These events were fine for some resources and shard currency. What is the thinking of removing them?

    You guys were actually doing good and making positive changes people liked, then go and make me do a client restart costing me conquest energy and the only point kf the restart was to remove a source of prestige and shard shop currency? **bleep** you

      The same happened to me, but apparently my conquest battle was registered just before I retarted the client so the battle was over and it counted

    I feel like everyone is missing the massive positive in this update.

    Players no longer have to wait months and months or spend crystals to get these ships to 7 stars - just a matter of days. I'll trade 10 shards every month to unlock these ships so much faster. 

    This change means that new players pushing for SLKR no longer have to wait ages to get a 7 star Finalizer.

    A genuine good update I think. Taking away the shards makes sense if it's a daily event, otherwise we would be getting 300 shards a month for each ship instead of 10. Sure it's a tiny hit to shard currency but worth it for players needing these ships. I still don't have some of these at 7 stars on my other accounts so I'm happy

      In isolation, the SSC from one of these battles isn't a huge deal. Over months, all of these battles deliver a healthy chunk of SSC. When viewed in the context of all the other changes a clear pattern is emerging. This is not a good thing - even if it feels good to some players in the short term.

        Sure over months you would get what like 120 shards of SSC a year. Doesn't seem that much compared to even just a single event refresh in terms of crystals or even the value gained by having a 7 star Finalizer in fleet arena for early players or if it wins you a battle in GAC because it's stronger. I see this as a win for the playerbase as a whole, even if it hurts the feelings of the long term players that have everything maxed already. Helping the smaller/newer accounts is worth it

      honestly, i think im with you. this is a great update for new players and for those who havent yet got all these ships 7*. unfortunately most players and the most vocal ones will feel hard done by cause they "lost some shards"

      I can see the logic of this update, though in the mist of current previous updates people are just diving on the negative.

      No one is missing that. There was just no reason to remove SSC we've had for years at the same time. Don't be a dummy.

        I'm not being a dummy. If you're bothered about the 10 SSC you need to reevaluate what you value about the game. You can easily get that by getting a 200 raid mk1 character you have at 330 already. The opportunity cost of going from a 4 to 7 star Finalizer in a matter of days vs potentially years vastly outweighs the 10 shards a month - even over the course or years. If you spend crystals refreshing in the old way to get Finalizer quicker, how long would that take you in terms of 10 SSC a month to make those crystals back?

    Seriously what is wrong with you? Are you actively trying to to kill the game and make people quit? What was the harm in letting us get  some SSC and prestige? Do you really think there is an abundance of resources in this game that with each update you take away more from players? Who is making these decisions? In my line of work anyone messing up this bad would have gotten fired already.

    No more character shards from old raids, removing older assault battles, DESTROYING THE FLEET EXPERIENCE, removing capital ship shards, gungans still getting protection disruption in the raid. Why do you keep removing and breaking stuff that actually helps us?

      That and the Jedi countering at completely random times instead of when they’re supposed to.
