Let’s see what news we may have missed:

🎲This week, Hotlipsyvie is asking for CAS ideas and specifically how do you flesh out your adult sims? Hotlipsyvie is taking this challenge to the next level by using a dice to come up with their sim’s skills, jobs as well as their amount of simoleons, a great way to keep the game fun and interesting. Some of you don’t like the randomness and prefer to control everything in their sims’ lives, and others like to play with their sims in Live Mode first to decide on career choices. It's very interesting to read all the replies, and again, to see how everyone plays the game in their own way. So make sure to take a look and to reply if you’d like to share the way you create your adult sims!

🏝️ Are your sims craving a vacation on an isolated island? froggy2747 has crafted a beautiful build, originally from a shell challenge, and it might be the perfect spot for your next holiday. This house is built on two floors, with a front terrace, an open balcony, and a stunning sunroom where your plants can relax. It also includes an open kitchen and living room, an ensuite bedroom. From all angles, your sims will be able to appreciate the stunning view over the ocean. Oh, did I mention there are a fountain and artificial pond on the front terrace? Because there are, and you should check out the rest of the house, but be careful: you might want to move there permanently!

🐴 If you have been following karritz’ Perfect Genetics Challenge Generation 3, the latest video episode is now available! It begins in Appaloosa Plains during the Winter season, where the characters set up to build snowmen or try some messy experiments. Later, the household split and Olivia, Don, Cindy and Bill have now moved into a beautiful barn with their horses in Lucky Palms. The video goes over the day-to-day lives of the household, as well as exploring the new world, where we encounter beautiful builds such as a casino, rollercoasters or a bowling alley, and we also get the visit of a unicorn! Plenty of things around to keep the household busy and entertained 🤗

😯 It’s time for another Things I didn’t know about the game thread, started by JesLet40 ! Those discussions are always fun because different people notice different things, and there are plenty of hidden treasures and funny features or interactions in the game. For example, did you know you can get invited to a NPC’s birthday party? (Really? How come they never invite me??) That you can have little frogs in your ponds? That one of your gardener’s work tasks could be to get eaten by a Cow Plant? There are so many clever tips and tricks shared by other players, I strongly encourage you to take a look if you’d like to *reads notes* turn a puddle into a duck-shaped puddle.

🤫 Finally, let’s end those highlights with GalacticGal’s question: what do you do when the game gives you a choice? For context here, Erik wants to spend as much time as possible with Kayleigh before she leaves. They had a couple of romantic dances and were having a great time, and Erik was actually very close to proposing! But instead, something happened: someone had discovered Erik’s big secret (that he had danced as a noble with a commoner). Originally, he was planning on calling a press conference himself for the big reveal and refuse to give into blackmail. But now, he will start university at the same time as Kayleigh and things might get busy, so is it the right time to get a big secret expose? I think that Erik shouldn’t let this big thing hang over his head and expose it himself, but I also understand if he’d like to bury the secret and move on. So, what do you think you would pick in this situation?
Alright folks, time to wrap it up! As always, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and see you very soon 🤩
Dag dag!
