I redeemed my code for the beta, but I didn't get to choose for which platform
The title says it all. I got the code watching the streams a couple of days ago: https://imgur.com/Rx2WiQP When clicking, it goes to https://www.ea.com/games/battlefield/battlefield-6/redeem I had to copy the code from the HTML of the page, btw, because it does not pre-fill it in the input box. Anyway, put it is, click on redeem, get confirmation and.... nothing else. According to this, I should have got the option to choose for which platform I wanted to register the beta key...? https://imgur.com/NJjQ6td My account on EA was linked already to pretty much all platforms I care about: https://imgur.com/5xtKb9Z So... what now? Is the platform choice going to be happening later? Do I get a notification for it somehow?
Full auto weapons need to be balanced...
First of all, let me state that I have been playing MP BF games since BC2, my main game is BF. TTK is incredibly fast, unlike any other BF game. There is no recoil in fully automatic weapons and even with a high magnification scope the recoil is not noticeable. Damage is very high; the MPX (SMG) deals 20 damage from afar, while some assault weapons deal 34 body damage up close (3 BTK). The damage of all full auto weapons in the game needs to be reduced. Gun play feels very cheap, like F2P games.
Class System (back to the roots?… Not really)
Hi Guys, in my Opinion, giving just one class both heals and ammo is a huge mistake. If i‘m not mistaken, in BF3 the Support Class could give you some Ammo box and the Assault Class takes on the role of the Medic. Why not stick to that ? This is a huge let down for me tbh.
BF Labs Early Access - Do I have to play it on PS5?
I'm in the BF Labs program and was able to play the alpha. I'm a PC gamer, but I was selected for the PS5 alpha back then. I already received the email saying that I have access to the open beta early access because I was a BF Labs tester, but it says: "If you played a Battlefield Labs session or the load test weekend, use the same platform and account to access the open beta on August 7." Does that mean I have to play on PS5? I would prefer to play on PC. I participated in the Twitch Drops and received a code, but I get an error message saying that the code has already been redeemed. So I can't join that way either. Thank you in advance.Suggestion: Add Jump on a Grenade Mechanic to Save Teammates
I’d love to see a new mechanic where a player can intentionally jump on a grenade to absorb the explosion and protect nearby allies. Right now, when a grenade lands in tight spaces, you often just watch it go off, knowing there’s no way to save yourself or your allies, so you just end up accepting your fate waiting for the explosion. This feature could add a heroic layer to the gameplay. How it could work: 1) You dive on the grenade. 2) You die instantly and cannot be revived (to avoid abuse). 3) The explosion radius and damage are reduced significantly, sparing allies nearby. I signed up for Battlefield Labs as soon as the registrations opened, but I logged in with an email different from the one I have now on my account, which I changed due to concerns about the security of the old email. Will I still be able to play the open beta of Battlefield 6 even if the email I used to sign up for Battlefield Labs is different from my current account?
Remove sliding and hyper movement
I haven’t even played the game yet and from what i’ve seen your top streamers are exploiting movement for no reason other than to gain viewership. If you truly care about the future of your game you will remove sliding and any sort of fast movement. Slow the game down
What is EA and Battlefield going to do about cheating?
Can we have an honest discussion about cheating or at least a real solution? It’s going to happen, it’s been happening since BF4. It’s the plague in COD! Even with the mass amounts of bans constantly it’s a stupid problem that is honestly ruining modern gaming! I would like to discuss or open space for ideas to actually combat this! Is there either a game mode or perhaps an overall system where we can verify players so that if they get caught cheating that verification process eliminates them from ever playing again? Instagram, X, Facebook Book and TikTok have verification processes to verify people are who they say they are. Can this or a similar system be brought to Battlefield to separate the real players from the fake ones?

Hey, I just got the email containing that I have gained access to the Early Access of Battlefield 6. However, the email is from the EA Playtesting email, and it included a message that 'The playtest and the email itself is confidential', which led me confusing if it is safe to share things related to BF6 OB or not. Is the Early Access of Battlefield 6 Open Beta under NDA? And is it safe to share gameplay online and discuss it publicly? Would be great if anyone in BF Studios would answer this question for clarification. Thanks.
The sad Air Vehicle Mechanics from BF2042 are back again?
BF2, 3, and 4 were the games that made the Battlefield franchise glorious, and the devs should have stuck to the same formula. But from what I’ve seen, it looks like they copy-pasted the air vehicle mechanics from BF2042 — and that’s just sad. Air vehicles were the holy grail of those older games: skillful, hard to maneuver, but incredibly rewarding once you mastered them. They weren’t easy to control — once you pointed the nose of your Mi-28 down, nothing could stop you from hitting the ground. You could feel the G-forces and everything else. And you had actual bases to take off from with your jets, instead of just spawning randomly in the air like now. Oh, and of course, the TV missiles from the gunner — those were the hardest things to handle, but so, SO satisfying when you hit a jet or heli with one. From what I’ve seen so far, it looks like the artificial-feeling air vehicles from BF2042 are back again. I really hope they fix this mechanic before launch — otherwise, it’ll feel like DICE only managed to achieve perfection 14 years ago.The failed Air Vehicle Mechanics from 2042 are back again?!

O.K., while we still have got time untill August 4 when pre-load should start it's might be important to clear another question to eliminate problems even before they occur. Official image with minimum and recommended requirements to run Battlefield 6 on your PC have got this: TPM 2.0 Enabled; UEFI Secure Boot Enabled; HVCI Capable; VBS Capable. And Win10 users also need to Enable "Hardware Accelerated GPU Sheduling". So, what this "Capable" mean? I personally have got both of this "Disabled" simply because it ate performance and resources.
