Severe audio distortion/crackling in BF6 during explosions / heavy action
Hi all, I’m hoping to find other PS5 players experiencing this and to get this escalated, because it’s at the point where I can’t keep playing. Platform / setup PS5 SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless (firmware fully up to date) Also tested other headsets (details below) Issue Since the full release (from day one), I’m getting unbearable distortion / crackling in BF6 audio during high-intensity moments: explosions being shot at indoors / inside buildings heavy vehicle presence lots of action happening at once It sounds like crackling gunshots / blown-out distortion (almost like the mix is clipping). Restarting the game and restarting the headset does not change anything. Battlefield 6 audio settings tested (everything) I’ve tried every combination I can think of: War Tapes (this seems to distort the most) 3D Headphones / Stereo / Headphones different “source” options ICM + High Dynamics, Night Mode, etc. No matter what I pick, the distortion remains. Headset/EQ troubleshooting Nova Pro Wireless firmware is current Tried ~30 EQ settings The most “sensitive” ranges seem to be 32 / 62 / 125 Hz, but even pulling these into negative values doesn’t fix it Tried official BF6 preset, BF2042 preset, and custom presets — no impact Factory reset the Nova Pro Wireless — no change Important: not a single-headset issue I tested multiple headsets and the problem is the same on all of them: Bowers & Wilkins PX8 (wired to controller) PlayStation Pulse Elite Arctis Nova 7 All reproduce the same distortion/crackling in the same kinds of scenarios. Key detail The distortion is audible in Share Screen and in PS5 screen recordings. That makes me think this is not a wireless interference issue or a single hardware defect — it seems like the game’s audio mix/effects are clipping or breaking under load. My suspicion: the concussion/suppression audio (or something in the dynamic mix under heavy action) is interacting badly, especially with higher-fidelity headsets — but the fact it happens on the Pulse Elite too suggests it’s broader than “high-end headphones.” Things I tried that did not help (to rule out interference / local install issues) Changed router frequency / moved away from 2.4 GHz Moved Nova Pro base station away from outlets / the PS5 Switched cables Reinstalled the game Reformatted my PlayStation No improvement. What I’m asking Are other PS5 players experiencing the same crackling/distortion under heavy action? If yes, what audio settings are you using (and does anything reduce it even slightly)? If anyone from DICE/EA sees this: can we get this acknowledged as a PS5 audio mix / clipping bug? I can provide short clips, and I can share exact steps to reproduce (explosions + indoor firefight + vehicles reliably triggers it). At this point, it needs a serious fix. The game audio becomes physically unpleasant during normal gameplay and it’s killing the experience.
BF6 Stutter and high-latency-like gameplay
Since the 1.1.3.0 Winter Offensive Update my gameplay experiënce has been a lot worse. I play the game trough the EA app. Before this update I wasn't having any issues, but now the game feels laggy (like I'm playing with high latency) and oftenly gets blurry/ stuttering. Trying to diagnose this myself I noticed the game would use 100% of my CPU, while it normally would use about 60-70%. I found that adding a custom user file would solve the high usage and it does lower the usage to about 80% in my case, but still the game is stuttering. I noticed BF6 was adressing such problem for low end spec pc's and the problem yet has to be solved (see file attached). I don't have a high end PC by any means, but using a Ryzen 5 5600X, 6750XT and 32GB RAM I wouldn't regard this as low end either, this even seems to be above the recommended specs. Therefore, I don't really know what the problem is at this moment and I was wondering if someone could help me.
Loudout / Uitrusting keuze (1tm3) in BF6
Je hebt drie uitrusting slots per karakter (character) per slot kan je de wapens instellen. Maar waarom kan ik niet, het uiterlijk vastzetten per slot. 😩Nu met de winter uitdaging, wilde ik de personen witte pakken aandoen in een andere uitrusting slot! 🙁Maar het uiterlijk is voor alle sloten in een! 😬Engineer uitdaging Repareer voertuigen blijft vaststaan.
Hallo allemaal, Ik heb een probleem met de Engineer challenge Repair vehicle health as Engineer. Ik repareer voertuigen in meerdere potjes en ik krijg ook repair score tijdens het spelen, maar mijn voortgang blijft hangen op 610 van 2000 en gaat helemaal niet verder. Ik heb het geprobeerd met verschillende voertuigen, verschillende maps, squadleden en zelfs na het opnieuw opstarten van de game, maar niets telt mee. Zijn er meer spelers die dit probleem hebben? En zo ja, op welk platform spelen jullie en heeft iemand een workaround kunnen vinden? Alvast bedankt.
Please, remove the need to play certain modes to complete challenges.
Please, for the love of God, stop making us play modes we don't like! I hate BR and Rush, but 6 of my challenges are locked behind these modes. Without playing that which I hate, I am thus unable to complete the Resistance unlocks or the weekly challenges. Can't reroll them enough times to get what I actually want to play, because half of my challenges were locked behind modes I don't like. Just let us complete challenges the way we want to play. Add an option to choose a favorite mode or something like that.Memory leak maakt het onmogelijk om te spelen
Sinds twee updates terug schiet de Vram door het dak heen nog voordat ik de lobby uit ben. Een potje starten is onmogelijk zelfs met de laagste settings. Mijn specs zijn boven het minimaal vereiste en deden het eerst prima. Zelfs nu op low knalt hij door naar 16GB Vram waarna hij crasht. Eerst kon ik 1 potje spelen waarna hij crasht. Nu geen enkele meer. Heel leuk deze nieuwe shooter maar ik wil voor dit geld ook kunnen spelen. Ik vraag mij dan ook af of ik de enige ben. Fix aub het spel, speel al een tijd niet meer hierdoor... Random EA account
Hallo allemaal, Ik heb laatst battlefield 6 gekocht op mijn ps5 en had nog geen EA account aangemaakt/gelinkt. Nu wilde ik dat dus doen alleen zie ik dat er een random EA account aan gelinkt zit. Hiervan heb ik geen inloggegevens dus kan ik deze niet verwijderen! (Het enige wat is weet is dat het account de gebruikersnaam: ‘Alfie344’ heeft en verder niks! iemand help!![BUG] Unable to join next bug match after a game
So right now there is a really annoying bug in Battlefield 6 that makss playing with friends very frustrating at times and I haven't seen any acknowledgement from DICE yet. When I play a game with friends everything works fine until the match ends and we are joining a new game. When we are waiting to automatically join the next game it shows waiting for party leader in bottom right cornor with a countdown. However, quite often that countdown ends on zero seconds and everyone in the party joins the next game except for me. I did notice the chance of it happening is slimmer when the party leader joins the next game before the timer runs to zero. Sometimes this issue also happens when I'm the party leader and I'm simply unable to join the next game despite me clicking to join the next match even before the timer runs out. This is getting quite frustrating for me and my friends because it forces us to quit to menu and try again. I have an open NAT type and a 1GBps download and upload connection with low ping and no packet loss. I'm playing on Xbox Series X.2 Different DirectX error
Wanneer ik battefield 6 start krijg ik DirectX Function Error. Na veel op forums en aangeraden fixes krijg ik nog steeds hetzelfde errors. Heb een clean windows geïnstalleerd en DDU voor mij graphicskaart gedaan. En directx via microsoft website geupdate. Heb -dx11 geprobeerd. Niks helpt. Toen ik het spel had gekocht werkte het gewoon. En nu ineens krijg ik dit. Kan iemand mij hiermee helpen.
