Well, I think it has been mentioned several times. But whats speaking against TrackIR support? It‘s a feature I miss dearly compared to other racing games and often times I could actually use it where I have occassions where I turn into corners blindly… Why hasn‘t it been considered?363Views0likes2CommentsLaunch issue "The title may have beed downloaded to your device by another user"
Hello, I have a problem with EA Sports WRC 24 game installation. I bought EA SPORTS WRC 24 game on Epic Games Store and when I try to install it, then EA App opens up and gives me this error: "The title may have beed downloaded to your device by another user who owns the game. Log in to differrent account or restart the app to try again.". Epic Games Account which I bought the game from is linked to the right EA Account. How can I solve this problem? I tried to reinstall EA App etc, but nothing helps. Thanks in advance!2KViews4likes73CommentsV2.2.1 Clubs - Service "Save Scumming" Bug
Example: Your car receives terminal damage (Part Failure or Unrecoverable) on stage 1, and you have returned to the service area before stage 2. Fixing some parts of the car, then leaving and rejoining the event allows you to fix the remaining parts of the car you ignored from the "first" service. If you incurred any time penalties for going over the allotted time in the "first" service, these penalties are not included in the "second" service, as the game has forgotten the "first" service. Example: Your car receives terminal damage (Part Failure or Unrecoverable) on stage 4, and you have returned to the service area before stage 5. Leaving the club event and rejoining reloads damage incurred from stage 3, as well as critical/terminal damage from stage 4. Examples of both can be seen in this video: https://youtu.be/0uNL4WP8SmE13Views0likes0CommentsInterior Car Reflections need to be fully disabled/removed for now.
Please remove them completely, and preferably in a hotfix asap before next month's patch, until perhaps a less obnoxious solution with far lower performance impact can be added later. Defaulting Car Reflections to Medium on the High and Ultra preset is not a fix for the negative performance issue. Doesn't help with how they fake and opaque they appear on screen, either. Very Low reflections are still fully broken, and anyone can bypass the severity of the more distracting reflection visuals on Low and above by removing the wheel+hands from cockpit view. Doing that is almost like disabling them, but you still don't get any performance improvement. It's just not projecting the hands, arms+wheel on the windshield. There's just no consistency there at all, and the performance of them being forced on is no doubt impacting the game's performance on consoles which are still suffering as well. Please get rid of them quickly, this is what should have been done in the last update. Instead, focus some effort into other immersion breaking issues from cockpit view, like how there's zero need to use wipers in snowfall, and rain barely impacts the windshield, too. The auto-exposure still needs to be removed in all vehicles and every location after 1.3.0 as well. Interior reflections should not incur a much larger performance hit than full on ray traced reflections have in entire scenes in other games on similar hardware. They are absolutely broken.1.7KViews8likes16CommentsEA SPORTS™ WRC: Some cars' specifications do not match reality
I'm quite a big fan of how closely balanced a lot of the cars are in EA WRC - the fact that almost all the cars in a class are usually competitive means that usually I see lots of variety in car choice when I compete in Clubs events, which is always nice to see! Something that's come to my attention, however, is the fact that some cars ingame have power/weight statistics that don't seem to reflect the actual cars' performances - which might make them a less popular or competitive option within their class, or vice versa, ie. they are so far ahead of other cars that not using them costs a lot of pace. I'm noting a few here in the hope that further down the line, there might be some changes to keep cars' performances more in line with that they are actually capable of. I've put it here in the Suggestions forum as I am cognizant of the fact such changes would likely change game balance and/or require a full reset of Time Trial leaderboards for affected classes; something I realise is probably unlikely to happen in a game that has already seen v2.0 release. H2 (FWD) Peugeot 309 GTI: despite sharing the same engine as the 205 (in presumably similar tune), the 309 has 35hp less than its contemporary. Also, the larger body of the 309 would surely have made the car heavier than the 205 - yet ingame the car is 5kg lighter than the smaller 205. As a result it seems that nobody uses the 309, despite the longer wheelbase giving it more stability - and it not being as nose-heavy as the 205, making for a more stable and accessible platform. By bringing the performance of the 309 closer to that of the 205 it could create a viable alternative for rallies where stability matters. H3 (RWD) Renault 5 Turbo: For some reason the Renault 5 has put on 70kg since DiRT Rally 2.0 and DiRT 4? It now weighs 970kg which I feel is a bit much - I think previous games got it right, especially as this is the '83 Tour de Corse model. Again, this might have been for balance reasons, but having the car weigh 900kg would likely make it a viable rival to the McRae Escort. Also - the dispacement being 1527cc is also a bit strange, as that would line up with the Maxi model - which being the 1983 car, this isn't! It may only be a change in a line of text but it would be good to see the actual displacement of 1397cc displayed instead. DJM Escort Mk2 McRae Motorsport: While there's some debate about whether this should even be in H3, the Escort comes in at 900kg ingame - but DJM themselves had the weight down as being 930kg. Were the Escort a little heavier it might help to even H3 out a little (in tandem with the Renault suggestion above) and give other cars more of a chance of competing. F2 Kit Car Citroën Xsara Kit Car: The F2 Xsara ingame revs to 9,750 rpm (at release of Le Maestros DLC). Like the 306 below, I've never actually seen any footage of the Xsara revving this high. The WRC channel has an excellent video of Jesús Puras leading the 1999 Rally Catalunya in such a Xsara, and the sound matches the car perfectly... but it also matches this video of Tapio Laukkanen in a Mk4 Golf. The latter car only revs to 9,000 rpm - and so I think the Xsara's redline ingame has been set a little too high. Vauxhall Astra Rally Car: The Astra is some 40kg heavier than its class rivals - while I know a 1000kg minimum weight came into force for F2 Kit Cars in 2000, the Astra in-game is the 1998 model - and while I wasn't able to find any data to suggest actual weights for the car, it doesn't make sense to me that the car would be *this* overweight in '98 trim. I know the Hyundai Coupe was initally quite heavy but the Evo 2 model managed to get the weight down; and the Xsara above is a later vintage but also just 960kg! Reducing the weight of the Astra somewhat might make it a more competitive proposition with its increased ground clearance perhaps giving an advantage on faster rallies. Peugeot 306 Maxi: The 306 ingame has 300hp and the UDP telemetry shows it revs to a staggering 11,000 rpm(!). This was the case in previous games RPM wise too - and while I have seen these figures thrown around on the Web before, I've never actually seen any footage of the 306 revving this high. There's a video of Gilles Panizzi wrestling with what appears to be an Evo 2 306 - but even that only goes up to 9500 rpm or so. Furthermore, the Evo 1 (1996 model, as seen ingame) actually made closer to 280hp, although it still revved pretty high - definitely north of 9000rpm - but it's my opinion that the 306 in current trim dominates leaderboards simply because it has that much more power than its rivals, when in reality it was quite closely matched in the horsepower stakes to its later Citroën cousin, and the other F2 cars of the time. Super 1600 Citroen Saxo Super 1600: The Saxo's weight is 1000kg ingame - I think the minimum weight for Super 1600 cars was 950kg? While the Saxo doesn't appear to be as affected by this deficit as other cars on this list (it even takes some Time Trial records) I do wonder why the extra 50kg has been added ingame when the car was supposedly as light as its rivals. World Rally Car 1997-2011 Citroen C4 WRC: The C4 and the Citroen Xsara are allegedly only 5hp apart, yet the C4 seems to accelerate much faster - while I'm sure improvements in drag and available torque were made in the C4's development, I'm not sure it equates to the sheer difference in acceleration the C4 has to other cars in its class, which gives it an almost indomitable advantage everywhere - especially high speed stages, where admittedly the C4 was stronger than the Xsara anyway - but I feel the degree to which it is faster almost makes it perform in a class of its own. If the C4 recieved a small reduction in available boost/torque, it might allow the other modern WRCs to compete on a more level playing field (Gronholm very nearly took the title in 2007 in the Focus, remember!)c05m0Place WRC General DiscussionWRC General DiscussionSeasoned Rookie515Views0likes4CommentsEA SPORTS™ WRC: Car sounds do not match experienced RPM
Product: EA SPORTS™ WRC Platform:PC Summarize your bug Car engine sounds do not always match experienced RPM How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Drive any of the affected cars What happens when the bug occurs? Affected car engines sound like they are either revving higher or lower than experienced/displayed RPM What do you expect to see? These bugs not to occur I'm very impressed with how the game is coming along so far (especially post-V1.6) but I think there's a few things that could be done to several cars to make it even better. I'm of the belief that sound is as important as anything in creating immersion - and I've found some of the cars' sounds ingame don't quite match the experienced RPM. H1 (FWD) Mini Cooper: sound about 500rpm too high at redline (Vauxhall Nova has higher pitch sound for same RPM) Lancia Fulvia: sound about 500rpm too high at redline (The Mini should rev to this pitch; the Fulvia should match the Nova) H2 (FWD) Peugeot 309: sound about 1000rpm too low at redline (Peugeot 205 has the correct pitch for 7000rpm, this car should match that) H2 (RWD) Alpine A110: sound about 750rpm too low at redline (Ford Sierra RS Cosworth has higher pitch at 500rpm lower redline) Opel Kadett GT/E: sound about 500rpm too low at redline (Pitch should match Seat Ibiza Kit Car) Talbot Sunbeam Lotus: sound about 1000rpm too low at redline (Peugeot 205 has same pitch at 1000rpm lower redline) H3 (RWD) BMW M3 Evo: sound about 1000rpm too low at redline (Pitch should match Seat Ibiza Kit Car) Renault 5 Turbo: sound about 1000rpm too low at redline (Peugeot 205 has same pitch at 1000rpm lower redline) Lancia Stratos: sound about 750rpm too low at redline (This video illustrates correct pitch) Opel Ascona: sound about 500rpm too low at redline (Hillman Avenger has higher pitch at 250rpm lower redline) Group B (RWD) BMW M1 Procar: sound about 750rpm too low at redline (This video illustrates correct pitch) Lancia 037 Evo 2: sound about 1000rpm too low at redline (Ford Escort RS Cosworth has same pitch at 1000rpm lower redline) Opel Manta 400: sound about 500rpm too low at redline (Same issue as Ascona) Group B (4WD) MG Metro 6R4: sound about 750rpm too low at redline (This video illustrates correct pitch) Peugeot 205 T16: sound about 500rpm too low at redline Group A Mitsubishi Galant VR4: Pitch rises inconsistently with RPM after 4250rpm - up to this point the pitch is correct, but at redline, engine has the same pitch as the 7000rpm Peugeot 205. The pitch from 4250rpm+ needs to scale linearly up to 8000rpm. F2 Kit Car Citroën Xsara Kit Car - Telemetry indicates 9,750 rpm redline for this car. I believe this may be a physics error, as I have not seen any footage of Xsaras running at 9,750 rpm - and I believe the sound was recorded with a 9000 rpm redline - but if this is not the case, the sound is about 750 rpm too low for the redline. Ford Escort Maxi - sound about 500rpm too low at redline (Pitch should match the Vauxhall Astra) Peugeot 306 Maxi - Telemetry indicates 11,000 rpm redline for this car. I believe this may be a physics error, as I have not seen any footage of 306 Maxis running at 11,000 rpm - and I believe the sound was recorded with a 9750rpm redline - but if this is not the case, the sound is about 1500rpm too low for the redline. Renault Megane Maxi - sound about 500rpm too low at redline (Pitch should match the Seat Ibiza) Volkswagen Golf IV - sound about 500rpm too low at redline (This video illustrates correct pitch) WRC 1997-2011 Citroen Xsara WRC: sound about 1000rpm too high at redline (C4 has the same pitch but redline is 1000rpm higher) Ford Focus RS 2001: sound about 600rpm too high at redline (Pitch should match 2007 Focus) Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI: sound about 1000rpm too high at redline (Pitch should match Peugeot 205) Seat Cordoba: sound about 500rpm too low at redline (Peugeot 205 has same pitch for 500rpm lower redline) NR4/R4 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X: sound about 500rpm too high at redline (Pitch should match the Subaru Impreza NR4) Rally4 Peugeot 208 Rally4: sound about 750rpm too high at redline (This video illustrates correct pitch)1.1KViews1like4CommentsMonte Carlo makes me want to quit the game
The Monte Carlo rally is making me want to quit the game entirely. I don’t know whose idea it was to run rally stages on ice rinks with no studded tire options but it’s anything but fun, not entirely true, the short portions with no ice are enjoyable, but the rest of it is terrible. I have cranked the AI way down just to try and be competitive without completely destroying my car but I am still finding it more than a little tedious.161Views0likes2CommentsCe-108255-1 evolution

It's great to test my driving against other players in clubs etc, but please, am I missing something? How can you find out how many competitors has set times without scrolling through a 1000 pages on names tp get to the bottom?. How hard would it be to tell me how me I'm was 200th out of 500 or something. You can scroll to the top, how about to the bottom. Its hard to judge how you're doing when you don't know how many other competitors there are. Thos should have been a no brainer inclusion. Enjoy a new vehicle class, fan-favourite cars and new stages from January 28 Celebrate French rally dominance with the EA SPORTS™ WRC 24 Le Maestros Content Pack*, releasing on January 28. Le Maestros is a tribute to the iconic era of French success, from the late 1990s to the late 2010s. French competitors won the World Drivers’ Championship a stunning 15 times in a row, as two of the greatest rally drivers of all time rose to ascendancy. This was also a highly successful time for French car manufacturers, with 11 World Manufacturers’ Championships and 11 drivers’ titles being taken behind the wheel of famed marques such as Citroën and Peugeot. Le Maestros pays homage to the cars and drivers of this era, with new rally stages, Moments, liveries, historic vehicles and an all-new car class on the way. Let’s take a closer look at what’s coming. New Stages** Le Maestros introduces 12 new stages for the fan-favourite locations of Rallye Monte Carlo and Rally de Portugal. Each location gets new stages, with the full-length routes being accurate replicas of legendary stages from WRC history. At Monte Carlo you’ll be tackling precision demanding S-Bends, steep drops, narrow bridges and classic hairpins. Add in the traditionally icy roads of winter and it’s a supreme challenge worthy of a champion. The Briançonnet-Entrevaux stage is the perfect choice for Le Maestros. The two most successful drivers in WRC history duked it out on these very roads in 2022 in an all-French battle for victory that went to the very last stage. Rally de Portugal features many challenging, scenic and revered roads, but none more so than the legendary Fafe stage. Known for its iconic and extremely challenging jump, Fafe has been a favourite of fans and drivers alike for decades. Both stages can be driven in forward or reverse directions, along with shorter versions for additional variety. As with other EA SPORTS™ WRC 24 stages, you’ll take them on across multiple seasons, weather and time of day scenarios. New Cars * Le Maestros heralds the introduction of 6 new cars to the game, along with the debut of an all-new car class. “World Rally Car 2012-2016” is the home of two new cars from Le Maestros, the Citroën DS3 WRC ’12 and the Volkswagen Polo R WRC 2013.** These two cars represent the passing of the torch from one Maestro to the other, as a 9-time World Champion secured his final triumph with Citroën DS3, and the next French superstar began his era of dominance with the Volkswagen Polo the year after. Long-time virtual rally fans may also recognise the Volkswagen Polo R WRC 2013 as the “cover car” of the original DiRT Rally, and the Codemasters development team is excited to bring the car back for fans of the series. Another highly requested car by EA SPORTS™ WRC 24 players has been the Citroën C3 WRC. This car competed in the era of dramatic aerodynamics, and joins its base game counterparts from Ford and Volkswagen in the “World Rally Car 2017-2021” class. In the years prior to its domination of the top class of WRC, Citroën was known as a giant-killer from the supporting categories, with the Citroën Xsara Kit Car being especially potent on asphalt. A pair of victories in 1999 was the car’s mark on the sport as the top-class drivers couldn’t keep up with the front-wheel drive wonder. Much like Junior WRC is the stepping stone to success for today’s drivers, the Citroën C2 R2 Max was an ideal beginner car in the late 2000s. The final new car in Le Maestros is the Peugeot 206 S1600. Unlike its namesake in the top class during the early 2000s, the S1600 is a front wheel drive variant that was especially quick on asphalt. Revving north of 8000rpm, the 206 is sure to make an impression when you get behind the wheel. New Liveries & Moments To further celebrate the era of French rally dominance, Le Maestros features 17 new liveries based on the teams and drivers of this period. Notable highlights include Sébastien Ogier’s title-winning designs from 2013 (Volkswagen) and 2018 (M-Sport), along with several liveries from his eternal rival’s many successes at Citroën. The full list can be found in the Key Details section below. Finally, Le Maestros introduces 16 exclusive Moments, challenging you to recreate some of the epic scenes from WRC history. Look out for events such as the Citroën Xsara Kit Car’s shock 1-2 in 1999, the Citroën C4 WRC’s dramatic 2010 win at Rally de Portugal, the mighty debut of the Volkswagen Polo R WRC in 2013, and more. Please add triple monitor support via this free Unreal Engine plugin https://github.com/fracturedbyte/UE4-MultiViewRendering This is the same plugin that Assetto Corsa Competizione uses for triple monitor support as can be seen by the attached photo. No need to create this functionality from scratch and proven to work in a shipped Unreal Engine 4 game. This plugin should be able to be added to WRC with minimal tweaks. Here is how ACC handles triple monitor support in game. First enable triple screen in video options. Then enter any game mode and once you are in a vehicle pause the game and select view settings> triple & widescreen to setup triple monitor support (screenshot attached).2.9KViews56likes30CommentsEA SPORTS™ WRC - Resolution and Framerate
