Franchise mode - slow sim and menus
When doing anything in franchise mode it's really slow compared to previous versions of the game. To make a roster move or just calendar sim is painful. Even from the stats screen there's so much lag trying to scroll up or down as it's trying to load the player faces in. It's a shame because the new main menu is so much more fluid that if it wasn't for the lag it'd be really good. I found if you close the game and restart the console it helps, but it'll just slow down again after a few minutes. I'm on PS5.
Game Frozes
There is alot of freezing games happening in world of chel whenever you are in a pre game matchup. The game frozes and you loose the game as an elite 1 player it is extremely frustating on my 5 loss i have 4 of them being a frozen screen. I will not play until that id fixed. Takes me 20 games to obtain 400rp and only one frozen screen to loose 400rp. Ea this is an issue right now please fix it thanks
Nhl 25 HUT 84 overall hughes brothers choice pack missing
I pre ordered NHL 25 on septmeber 10th (I have proof) my Xbox gamer tag is haxxgaminghd and still haven't received the choice pack. I've never game shared, and I want this as I am entitled to it. I've had 5 "cases" about this. Every single time I'm told wait, just wait. Zero timeline, zero help, zero compensation.Game crashes
This game constantly crashes, used to be every other game in Be A Pro mode, and now I'm stuck on 1 game in the playoffs and I can't finish the game with out it crashing. Hut mode as well. I just played 2 games in a row and it crashes on me. I lose the game and the coins. This is the most ridiculous game release I have ever played. And pre ordered to be exact. Xbox series X. I have deleted the game and re installed twice. Not sure what else can be done. EA fix your **bleep** game.
Cover athlete 82+ sets giving me account bound cards
I recently was awarded a pack I was missing but I realized now all of my cover athletes except for one 82 Claude Giroux is account bound. I even did one of the sets where you trade in 6 79+ cards to get a 82 UT cover athlete and even it was account bound. What is going on??? I just wasted a ton of coins on a now useless card to me. Is there some intended feature I'm missing or am I getting screwed by a bug?
Game crashing in Franchise mode
In 3 out of 3 games I get spinning EA logo and can't do anything after 1st intermission (pressing resume to play next period) on Series X. It's a grudge match. I'am penguins playing against panthers mid-season. Also, the controller vibration never works. I like the new presentation but this is just awful for a company this big.
Disconnecting from CHEL
Last two days when I’ve been playing CHEL 3v3s I have randomly been disconneted every few games. I have tries troubleshoptikg my internet connection which has not helped unfortunatly. Everything else is working fine on my Network, only EA connection gets disconnected. Everytime it happens I check the playstations connection and it has been fine. Any idea what might be causing this and what I can do to fix it?
Can’t edit club arena - error code
I’ve had the game for a week and everything I try to change a net color, change stadium, change goal sound I get an error code. tried a new account on the club I get the same error. i tried a new club and was able to change it. can someone please fix this. ive played almost 100games in this club and d1 trying to unlock everything for esports.and now i cant even change my stadium or anything. club name is The Helmet Boys thank you
"My player is stuck in my trade pile."
Hello, three days ago, I purchased Igor Shesterkin in the auctions. Since then, I haven't been able to send him to my collection; I get the message "this item cannot be added to the collection." If I try to sell him, I receive the message "item already in an active offer." I haven't been able to do anything with the player for three days. I am on Xbox series s. Can you please help me? Can’t load up entire game
I am having an issue where I try to load up NHL 25 but I can’t even get to the main menu without coming across an all white screen with error codes and “can’t resolve host name” and also get a message on the screen from playstation saying “Can’t connect to the server. There might have been a problem connecting to the network, or Playstation Network or the server of the service provider might be temporarily busy”. It has to be an EA issue because I am able to play other games on my PlayStation, so it’s really aggravating that I’m not able to play a game that came out not too long ago Below is a screenshot of the issue I’m experiencing.
Can’t Play any Online Matches
Got on today and played a few matches with my friends on World of Chel in our Club, then my game randomly crashed while loading the next match and since then, both me and my other friend can’t connect to any online modes. (both Playstation 5) I try online versus: failed to retrieve data, code: 65836E8CC2F858E7-0000000000009999-20535A907DF21DCE any mode in WoC Clubs: failed to retrieve data, code: 9D529E1FE2CCB328-0000000000009999-9B3B600B3D037892 I’ve attached a screenshot of both errors above. is this common? has anyone else experienced this tonight? really disappointed to have spent the money on the game today for it not to work after 30 minutes.
"X Marks The Spot" achievement not unlocking
I've been doing this achievement every year for years now: add an X-Factor player item to your lineup. I add the card to my lineup and the achievement doesn't pop. I've tried removing it and re-adding it as well as subbing it in. Still no achievement. I'm playing on Xbox Series X with all the current updates. Have the criteria changed this year or is the achievement broken? Please advise me what to do, thank you.
Goalie controls not saving
Controller settings for goalie not saving at all. I changed goalie controls from chel menu before the game and when the game starts there ain't the settings wich i changed. I started the game just now after little break and the settings i changed did not save. And now when i go to play the game there aren't my changed settings on. So before i get in to the game i need change my setting TWO times. First in chel menu and right before puck drop (wich causes that our team has no pauses left) so i hope this gets fixed soon. Only thing does not change is goalie cover. It stays manual like i want it to be. Everything else is other way. Goalie controls are default and i use alternate. Hug post is auto and i use manual. Tether is on and i use off. Please fix this.Missing Hughes Choice Pack for NHL 25
I've reached out to support via chat multiple times now telling me to keep checking back and recently they told me to visit the forums so here I am. I've sent pictures of my order from Microsoft showing I pre-ordered the game in time to receive the Hughes choice pack and even offered screenshots of Microsoft showing me that I own the Hughes brothers choice pack but they say they can't do anything. With this time limited event that have sets requiring one of these cards to upgrade into the 86 cover athlete, I feel like this issue is pressing. Is there anything I can do to expedite this process or even get an answer on when I might be receiving the content I paid for? It doesn't feel great to miss out one of the reasons I paid extra for the deluxe edition of the game.Game crashing during HUT gameplay
Had anyone else’s ps5 been crashing mid-game during HUT gameplay? It happened to me twice with the new game breaker moments and once again after switching to online rivals. It gives me a black screen which required me to pull the power cord to turn it off. I had the same thing happen to me earlier this week in world of chel but I presumed the update earlier tonight fixed it.
Hybrid Controls Glitch and Missing Hughes Pack in NHL 25
Description: There is an issue with hybrid controls in NHL 25 that switches inconsistently between the correct control scheme and a glitched version. 1. X Button: Brings up the defensive lineup menu instead of performing a stick lift. 2. B Button: Brings up the offensive lineup menu instead of performing a body check or slap shot. 3. A Button: Does not switch players; instead, R3 is switching players, but it works inconsistently. When the controls are incorrect, which is most of the time, it is impossible to stick lift, change players, shoot, or body check. The controls often switch between working correctly and the glitched layout, and they do not match the hybrid control diagram, making the game unplayable. Additionally, the Hughes Brothers Pack that should be included with the NHL 25 Deluxe Edition has not been received despite being part of the game description.HUT Glitching Out
Every time I load up HUT, everything seems normal, until I start playing a game. At first, it would load the game then right before first puck drop would disconnect me from ea servers and send me to main menu. Now, after updating the game, it will let me play for about 2-5 mins then do the exact same thing. It does the same thing during offline modes within ultimate team, but this issue only occurs in HUT, not any other online modes or other games. Any ideas on what I can do to fix? It is not an issue with my internet connection.
Franchise Mode Draft Picks Issue
Can you please fix/allow the draft picks on the roster you have set to start in Franchise Mode. No point of adding that in player movement if there is no way to select them when starting a new franchise mode. When setting up franchise mode you are forced to select authentic/classic, and choosing authentic wipes out your "custom roster" on where draft picks are placed.Keep getting error code in HUT (PS5 Nhl 25)
Hello. I keep getting error code with "failed to retrieve data". It happens in every game mode: SB, Wildcard, HUT moments, exibition, rivals. I tried everything as power cycle, clearing cache, even hint from older NHL games with deleting and creating new lineup. Nothing helps. Yesterday everything works well. Preordered game, weekend and I cant play. Not really funny.Game crashes during Create a Player
I bought the early access just so that I can start creating custom teams and players as soon as possible. The first day I started playing, both Create a Player and Create a Team worked just fine. Now I can't even enter Create a Player without the game crashing immediately. I tried all the standard steps of turning the console on and off again and so on but nothing's working. I paid extra money to get started and now I can't do anything.
Still no controller vibration Xbox NHL25
All my controllers have vibration in NHL24 and all other of my games installed on my series X. But still after reinstalling NHL25 and playing a week no patch? It works on my ps5 but I prefer playing NHL with an Xbox controller. Can EA please patch this for Xbox. Getting annoying to play without vibration function that I have paid for being able to use in the game.Preorder Bonus
I can’t claim my preorder bonus on Series X. In the store it says to try again later, and using the enter code feature it says that the code is invalid. I called the retailer and they claimed that it was a known issue and EA was working on it. Is this true or did I preorder for nothing? The code for 250 points that came inside the case worked, so I know it’s not a problem with my Xbox or account.
Volume setting not saving. Have to adjust it every time I get on the game
I don't use a headset so the controller volume for me has to be turned down to 0/10 in the volume settings or else I hear all the game sounds like goal horn and goal celebration music coming out of my controller. Please fix it so it saves when I adjust it and stays that way. So annoying to have to adjust it every time I get on this game.WOC Issues
Noticed that I am having trouble changing my camera angle for WOC. I have changed every camera setting and nothing is reflected in game only free skate with load outs. As well I am having issues receiving club invites from friends. Missed out on all the early access benefits because I kept getting error codes for the past 6 days coming on 7 everytime I try to play a mode for example hut rivals and squad battles and even wildcard every time I try to load into a eashl lobby I get the exact same error code can’t play any modes resulting on me missing out on the early access benefits I’m missing the free X factor and free icon cards in hut and the things in world of chel this is incredibly frustrating especially when you spend this much money on a game that doesn’t even work and given 0 timetable of when it will be fixed so it could be another week before it’s fixed for all I know this is beyond ridiculousGame crashes whenever I enter Create Player - PS5

In no other NHL game has there been a crash when trying to go to the goah darn Create Player menu. But somehow, NHL 25 can't handle a Create Player menu that has a scroll bar because every time I tried to go to the Create Player menu after work, the game crashed. Can't believe I wasted my money on such a trash game that can't even handle its own Create Player menu.

Slapshots from defensive end no longer go where they are aimed, is now almost always an icing regardless of aim nudging/hitting from the side or behind doesn't do anything gameplay in general is far too slow, the only way to score is under the goalies armpit not important, but hitting goalies in the crease has been removed for seemingly no reason Celebration camera takes away from the fun of celebrations Replays in grudge matches don't work the skating around defenders animation works sometimes, but doesn't apply to players that are down on the ice hitting assistance is gone, and almost any move makes a player basically immune to any hit every rebound goes flying? crouching to interrupt getup animation still an issue (since at least last October) passes in general are a little bit too useless The changes to contested passes and stick checking are cool, but don't work well in conjunction with all of the changes that slow the gameplay down even further. If the pace of the game (skating, hitting) speed up a good bit, the defending changes could make this game decently competitive and fun. I'm holding out hope for the game, as last year's launch was also really bad, but ended up being one of the most fun NHL games for me.
