Savoie for Fredric is unacceptable!
People invested time and 40 collectibles into Savoie, expecting a catalyst with legitimate offensive upside and the potential to produce throughout the season. Now, instead of giving players the option to keep Savoie or choose a replacement, EA is forcing everyone into Frederic, a completely different type of player. Who in reality, will be scratched when Savoie comes back from his injury! At the very least, give us a choice pack of other catalyst options or let us keep our original Savoie card. I fully expect Savoie to still score significantly more goes by the end of the season than Fredric. People shouldn’t have their investment dictated by EA with no alternative. This is exactly why players get frustrated with HUT content decisions. We put the time and resources into these sets, and EA throws that out the window with their choices!Player Switching Needs To Be Fixed Now
In 2026 almost 2027 I should be able to switch to the player I want when I want on the ice. I should not have to hope it switches to the right player. I have played many games where I cant switch to any player and I get scored on and it is beyond frustrating. This also becomes a ping issue where I will not get into it here but it has be discussed many times on this forum We should have icon defensive switching where you hit R 2 on play station and we get buttons over players we can press ....just like icon passing. This should be easy to implement as the icon passing is already in the game+ This should be a patch... done now not a 2028 nhl hockey where EA goes this is a reason why you buy the new game. I would like a moderator to respond to my post and tell me if this can happen now and if not why?. The player base has been requesting better player switching for years and this would really make the game play and the customer experience...... EA 's customers experience bettterHUT 27 in a nutshell
‘Good’ players make the AI strategies aggressive so that the AI is all over you in your own zone. This is an issue because stamina is a wreck this year. ^^ why are we rewarding someone that is relying on AI this much? The people actually intuitively playing all aspects of the game should be better rewarded the pressuring of the AI this year is very unrealistic. ‘good’ players spam one-tee to the point to either score, or trigger the pressure system. ^^At this point, let’s get rid of the pressure system. It’s as broken as when it first came into play years ago. again, why are we rewarding people for abusing this in the game? These are going in and leaving juicy rebounds way too often. Again, very unrealistic. ‘good’ players circle all over the place continually. Ozone ragging. Often times, they do this with 5 mins left in a game to rag the time out. ^^Why can someone with no energy skate away from me in a different direction continually turning around and you can’t catch them? Also, I love when players are circling in the O zone, and you’re using a good ranked D man, who stumbles and falls out of position from someone spinning in circles, even if that person is the same calibre as Ryan Reaves making cale Makar stumble. Perhaps players with the puck circling endlessly should stumble? Why does the player without the puck stumble? So stupid. game is a solid 1/10. Coming from a diamond rank in HUT (I suck at HUT) and an elite world of chel player. It is the worst NHL ever created.Moments
Hi can we make these moments a little less stressful? Getting too expensive to play, I have to keep replacing my controller, but seriously, why is the short time limit needed for the moments? Why does anyone at EA care that we complete 5 passes with Victor Hedman in 60 seconds? Game is supposed to be fun, that is not fun.Why can't I scroll when trying to pick my HUT coach?
My issue is that I open NHL 27 for early access, went to Hut to start my season. When doing the pack for the pick your arena and coach. The coach selection glitched and wouldn’t let me scroll through to pick. Seeing the coach I wanted was on the 4th picture I chose the 4th dot. I now ended up with a coach I don’t need/doesn't fit my team [CM - updated thread title for clarity and visibility]Honesty requested: menus
Ok devs… just be honest.. are you ever going to do anything about the horrific lag in menus and the stupid long loading screens? Or is this just a “maybe we will look at it next gen, or whenever our engine is so broken and spaghetti that we’re forced to move to a new one”. its been a decade or so, and this not only never gets addressed but seems to actually get worse every year. The gameplay will always be broken, but can you at least make getting into the actual game less miserable? Menus and loading screens are at a level that would be expected from 2 entire console generations ago. If you’re gonna sell an annual $70 roster update, can you maybe at the very least address the very basic functions working properly and in keeping with basic and reasonable expectations? thanksHits, be hits!
The whole community is complaining about the toxic side of the online gameplay, and it feels like the game is actually rewarding players who have no creativity in their playstyle. Instead, they just skate around in circles as if they were doing figure skating, or repeat the same three incredibly boring and predictable moves over and over because they are so difficult to defend against. And now, with the latest update, you have basically removed one of the best tools we had to defend against these players: body checking. The way opponents absorb hits after the latest update is honestly ridiculous. Almost every hit feels completely irrelevant because the opponent simply absorb it and continues as if nothing happened. It doesn't seem to matter whether the player being hit is big, small, strong or weak — size and physical attributes barely seem to matter anymore. This is extremely frustrating. Body checking should be a meaningful defensive tool against players who rely on endlessly circling around the offensive zone and repeating the same exploits or mechanics. Instead, after this update, it often feels like there is almost no physical consequence to being hit. Please take a serious look at the current hitting and physicality mechanics. The game needs to reward creative hockey and varied playstyles, not repetitive skating patterns and mechanics that are frustrating to defend against.Bugs/Glitches + Post-Update Gameplay
Some of the bugs that are in HUT aren’t new issues, and some have actually gotten even worse. For example, line changes. WHY does it mix players off of 2 or 3 different lines? I ask for my 2nd line, I get my wingers with my 4th line centre. Try to fix it and get my 2nd line centre back on the ice? My winger will get off the ice with the 4th line centre, and I’ll get my 2nd line centre, and a 4th line winger. Same thing happens with defence, even bigger issue for this now is that when my players automatically go to the bench it’ll mix up the lines too. The Gameplay since the “patch” has been egregiously terrible as well. Went from a real hockey feeling, to an arcade style mess. Can’t take the puck off of any players, goalies freeze in one spot after a shot attempt, and my own players seem to love scoring on their own net whenever the puck is in my goalies feet. There are jerseys that have had the same errors for multiple games, that I’ve posted in here before (Bakersfield Alternates) Tons of things that still need fixing, if anything just revert back to gameplay before the patch, because this is atrocious.Can we get a fix on loyalty tokens?
I easily cleared 270 days logged in, played 500+ champs games, made ult every season except the last and have an insane amount of hours played. I completed every weekly objective until about August. Something has to be off. My hours played are in the thousands. Only received 14 tokens. Something is clearly wrong. If 1 person says it, maybe it's incorrect. If you have waves of people saying it, something clearly isn't working correctly.

Sorry if this has been discussed already. Is there going to be some alternative ways to get other coaches without completely being taken advantage of ? I tiered trade in , other type of card trade in, being able to earn collectibles to turn in for a coach ?? Just curious on what the plan may be ? ThanksImprove hut
Everybody needs to start boycotting EA till they can improve the competitiveness in hockey ultimate team and their packs and gameplay so much work needs to be done, how are we supposed to get any packs or win, if you’re putting us against somebody with a higher ranking, that does nothing but play all day long, not fair, specially when you are playing those players that glitch the hell out of the game go in circles I can’t touch them and their players don’t ever get tired. That’s not skill that’s lagging glitching., it has been years since I’ve played a few people online where it’s actually straight up good game because now you other destroy your opponent or get destroyed, there’s no fair competitive skillGame is sus
Highly Sus that the guy I just played who had a team of icons and Giroux and Crosby card (obviously tons of money spent) who was brutal scored 8 goals on 10 shots. I score 3 on 30. we are not allowed to mention a certain word in here, but after a game like this, it’s how we all feel. It makes no sense and is incredibly frustrating. this is why everyone comes on this forum and screams at you guys. We have no other way to explain our frustrations and it seems you guys only listen to the streamers. Is this what we need to do??This game is bad
I dont understand how a player can go trough five stick without losing the puck by simply using their right stick its driving me insane theres no logic in this game im stuck in diamond in hut and its unbereable, every game is the same way I give up under 10 shots a game while Im putting 30 but it is the same bull everytime, you fixed L2 while creating another awful thing with that right stick, you guys need some comp you are lazy. Goalies are a complety clueless on breakaway or if a guy cut in front of the net its game over
