Camera control while on skate
Hi! First of all, I love the new Skate, as long as i have been trying it out i genuinely feel like a kid with a skate board, i love the free exploration and everything. However, one issue I’ve noticed is that while skating, the right stick is entirely dedicated to tricks, leaving no direct control over the camera. This can make it difficult to adjust the view mid-ride or when setting up for a trick. A possible solution would be to introduce an R2 (the triggers in console controls) modifier: When R2 is NOT pressed, the right stick controls the camera. When R2 IS pressed, the right stick switches to trick input mode. This would keep the intuitive flick controls, while letting players dynamically adjust the camera during lines or exploration. It’s a small change that could make the gameplay feel even smoother and more natural. I think that we should have friends leave boards for all changes that shows what our friends scored on each challenge so then it gives more reliability to try and beat each others scores or maybe compete a change they couldn’t. Maybe even a weekly or monthly community one. I also think we should have the ability to create our own challenges and lines. Then we can update them to like a skate community in game where people can upload whatever changes they have created. It’s then just endless new challenges and lines to run instead of repetitive ones created by EA it’s a constant stream of new challenges.

So 1st of all the prices in the shop are ridiculous, 2nd it's annoying waiting to get tix, wish I never bought the pass, 3rd the bugs.., 4th more hair options and things like that, there's 3 guy haircuts like wtf, 5th keep making new challenges it gets repetitive fast, 6th make outfits or costumes only look cartoony, make characters and pedestrians look like actual people, it will add a lil more realism, tbh i could keep going on but as much as i want to help yous kinda deserve this for being greedy, look at other games like cod and that failing cause of the same thing, even you're ea FC or FIFA is dropping, I didn't get it, 2k are fumbling too (not tried Borderlands yet and I'm kinda scared to incase it's not like the sequels) so getting working hard on it, or you know it's another flop from a big company, games these days.
Skate. - Why isn't it nighttime in Sanvan for Halloween?
I really like Halloween decorations and masks, and I'm even really excited, even with the music XD, but it's not nighttime T.T And I'd like to take this opportunity to talk about some bugs I sometimes get when editing objects other people add. And I don't know if it's just me, but after a while of playing SKATE, the street turns black. A hug and a greeting. Keep it up, and I can't wait to see what Christmas will be like. Lowkey feel like we should be the ones choosing what glitches get removed some of them make the game more fun tbh for example the mani flying glitch cause it’s mad annoying constantly climbing everything if it was a shooter or something I’d think differently but the bugs don’t hurt anyone’s experience so they shouldn’t be a concern if they’re fun. Also new main missions and new daily mission would be nice I know there’s variety in the challenges it gives for daily challenges but it’s at the same spot everytime practically.
Self Created Challenges?
One of the main things I see with the current state of the game is once you’ve mastered the challenges presented… and ranked them out to Level 10…you are left with spot ‘self discovery’! Why not enhance that gameplay? You’ve given us plenty of objects to add into the sandbox…I’m thinking player created skate spot challenges… Throwdowns are just a competition to beat your fellow player with a high score… why not expand those options by an enhancement to the current UI by adding a “create a spot” and/or “challenge”? Allow us the ability to design our own challenge and present it like a “throwdown”. Player developed content challenges/sessions would be a perfect next step in development to me. You could also allow us to create our own parks again. P.S. And bring back “Frank” for the love of GOD and all things SACRED and HOLY to us SKATERS! Might just have to write to Jason Lee and beg him to contact you at EA!Very disappointed
How do you come out with the skate pass but aren’t even going to give us the chance to complete it without spending more money then you didn’t put the new brands in it also. I was played the first day and haven’t gotten on since because I realized I wouldn’t be able to complete the skate pass and the game has more bugs then when it was in play test.Feedback
Im not here to complain or anything, personally i love the game since its early access and i feel it has amazing potential. Idk much about the other skate games because i played them a handful of times but ive loved them and i love this one too. But what i really wanted to talk about is some things i had in mind about the game that would be enjoyable in the future like further customization like saving outfits, boards, or being able to set certain tricks to certain patterns and unlocking new tricks. Yes some are hard to learn but for advancing players, i believe it would give a better view into the game as in different tricks and scores. Or like setting certain aerial tricks onto a set keybind like christ air could be swapped out with a different one thats similar but different in a way so everyone isn’t spamming the same trick. This could go both ways with off board flips or sliding. Like pressing circle you could slide on your stomach instead of your side. Another thing i thought of was different ways of doing tricks while riding around, i realized that riding around youre only limited to ground flip tricks or coffin. Now i was thinking it could be like a handstand on the board while riding, then pressing a different button sets up a different style of trick like a judo kick but on one hand while rolling. Now these are only recommendations that i think would bring the game up even more and i know your hands are full developing the game. Been playing the game for months was playing before it even had graphics and couldn’t tell people about it .. I have a bunch of stuff went on vacation for two weeks and just tried to sign on and now I have to restart. Like I’m not trying to restart if I have to. I’m not gonna play this game.What Happened To "Keeping the fun glitches"?
Skate 4 was recently updated, resulting in the patching of several entertaining glitches, including the launch glitch, which I frequently used for its comedic value. Most methods of travel, including skating itself, have been modified. I have noticed a marked difference in how I skate within the game, finding it much easier to wipe out, slam, or accidentally grind on objects unintentionally.Customization
The game has a lot of potential! However, I noticed a downgrade in character and skateboard customization, such as rotating the hat or freely moving the stickers. It would be great to see some polishing to improve fluidity and add more personality to the game. Invisible players just fix it it is a silly bug I cant see my friends tricks or even random players waving. As for the props from the qwickdrop sometimes randomly diapering please fix that and also a pivot yaw and roll kind of function would be amazing x y and z axis it is just not as accurate as I would like it to be something the the rockstar creator would be much better than what we currently have and last but not least board clipping and what i mean by this is when u try land a insane jump the board actually clips through the ground and that is what makes my character fall that is this random fall bug pepole have been reporting as it seems to me the textures are messing up and it just registers the wrong thing to happen I do know it is still early access but on the 7th I hope to see updates that fix alot of issues and please please please add some more gammode I can launch like showdowns I am not familiar with the older games much but I did see a mode on skate 3 where u copy the tricks of the previous player this would be nice have a nice day godbless skater jesus loves you
