Newborns have aged up, after choosing the "wiggly" trait for infants, they have reached the end of the day, then they have aged up, suddenly they always do that like babies and moodlets. What do you expect to see? toddler/child/etc. Sims get moodlets only for traits for their age group, not infant moodlets. Have a sim record a vlog that requires a certain emotion and have that emotion run out during recording. What happens when the bug occurs? My sim records a vlog requiring an emotion (eg. Cheerful Vlog which requires the Happy moodlet). If the required moodlet runs out before the recording process is finished, the sim completes the actions for recording a video but the process does not finalise and my sim is left with no video. What do you expect to see? I expect the sim to finish recording the video, then to write the name and description for the video, and for this video to be available for editing on the More View Video Station. I expect this to work like emotional paintings work, where a sim only needs to start a painting in the required mood but can finish it in any mood. As it is, my sims waste time behaving as if they are recording a video only to end up with no product at the end of their effort. No As described above, I will get a sim to start recording a vlog requiring a particular emotion and if the moodlet runs out partway through the process, the sim will still spend the 2 in-game hours pantomiming recording a video but the process will not complete and the sim ends up just wasting that time for zero reward. It would make sense for videos to work like paintings, where paintings only need to be started in a particular emotion and can be completed in any emotion, including neutral, while keeping the original emotion associated with the painting. I found this bug by creating a library in Glimmerbrook and giving the library the "Cat Hangout" lot trait which should summon stray cats. What happens when the bug occurs? Stray cats do not spawn on the lot, or in the Glimmerbrook area even with the lot trait. What do you expect to see? Stray cats spawning on/around the lot. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure I couldn't find that this had been reported yet... Today, I was working on creating a Library on the "Glimmerbrook Watch" lot in Glimmerbrook. I hoped to also have some stray cats appear here, so I added the 'Cats Hangout' lot trait on the Library. After I finished setting it up, I playtested to make sure everything is functioning correctly. My sim spent 2 days straight in the library, and not a single stray cat spawned on or around the lot. This is a fresh save, with no mods. I did a little bit more testing -- I originally suspected that maybe strays do not spawn outside of Brindleton Bay, so I loaded the residential lot next door to my library and added the 'Cat Hangout' lot trait. Stray cats spawned within minutes. So the lot trait does work on residential lots, and it also works in Glimmerbrook. I tried removing the lot trait from the Library, Reloading the lot, adding the 'cat hangout' trait back and then reloading the lot again, No strays. I tried turning the Library into a residential lot and reloaded it. Stray cats spawned in once it was residential, but did not spawn in when I set the lot back to library. When you complain about the noise and the neighbor comes out and apologise the noise still keeps on going and does so my sim can't sleep. The keys on the piano are reversed and not correct, if you look at the regular grand piano in the game, the keys are the correct way. What do you expect to see? Leave the lot with your sim, return home, switch to old aspiration only to find that all progress at current tier is lost. What happens when the bug occurs? For example- Hudson is currently studying music, and is working on becoming a complete virtuoso! But, what rock star isn't also a serial romantic? So he's bouncing back and forth between writing music and practicing, to finding 10 hot sims who wanna kiss him. While out at the bar, Hudson's had some drinks and makes out with 5 sims - good for him! Hopefully he didn't start any fights, but lets get him back home. Alright, now that he's kissed 8/10 sims, lets focus on music for a couple hours. Write a couple more songs... maybe sleep off those tang and zangs. However, something peculiar happened when we get Hudson home. He suddenly doesn't remember he ever made out with the 8 sims!! Those tang & zangs must have been strong. The short of it is that I'm having an issue where my sims are returning home after traveling to another lot and losing milestone progress for aspirations. What do you expect to see? When I returned with my teenage sim, I got a notification that my toddler was being taken away due to neglect, without having a warning or any mood color indication of an issue. Now my entire household is sad due to the toddler being taken. I did update the game yesterday with the newest patch, but I am unsure if this is why the issue is occuring. No I noticed earlier that whenever I use the new stairs from Snowey Escape, the Wood Grained Stairs, using the custom staircase tool they peek through the other side of the wall. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? This is when I first noticed the issue. I changed it to a different staircase and it disappeared. I went outside and tried to recreate this issue so I could see it better and I now see that the Wood Grained Stairs from Snowy Escape are too long. I changed it to several different staircases and they all showed them being short enough to not peek through the wall. My sim starts fabricating an eco upgrade part and halfway through glitches out in a T pose, the fabrication remains half done and even after scrapping it or buying a new fabricator the issue remains. When clicking on resume fabrication, I receive a part that the game doesn't allow me to use when upgrading. I can fabricate anything else. What do you expect to see? No I used to have a large garden so I needed a gardener to come over everyday to help. I hired one. After a while I decided I no longer wanted a garden so I sold it. Thus getting rid of my Gardner. By baking a wedding cake and having the wedding. After the ceremony, try and get one of the newlyweds to take the first slice. What happens when the bug occurs? The option to take a slice is greyed out and says something along the lines of "Only the newlyweds can take the first slice" even when I'm asking the newlyweds to do it. What do you expect to see? Neutral/Not Sure So this happens all of the time (that I'm aware of anyway) and it is starting to get a bit frustrating because I just want the perfect dreamy wedding for my sims! The rest of the wedding event is fine, it's just that after the sims get married and are officially husband and wife, I can't get them to take the first slice which kinds ruins it when doing a prestige event and that's one of the goals you have to do. I can send it several times and earn money each time, as well as sell it through the inventory sell section. If I sell it through the inventory sell, it greys out but does not leave my inventory. What do you expect to see? When I send an item, in this particular case the wool, it should leave my inventory and go to the Plopsy customer. Play household and you will see the child can not be selected. What happens when the bug occurs? You can not play as a child re-added to a new household after being whisked away. What do you expect to see? I expect that you should be able to play as the sim once re-added to a household of your choice. Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. It's a new feature with 1.110.265.1030 There is no way you can play the child after you re-added them to a family. The kid doesn't even appear when attempting to travel somewhere. As a side note: I did test with MCCC and UI Cheats before doing a vanilla. I then tested to remove her from family with cheat and then readd her getting the following exception. Error message: Exception in Unknown timeline: Exception running Element (AttributeError: 'HiddenSimService' object has no attribute 'unhide'), CategoryID: household_manager:294 Seems like the kid is considered a Hidden Sim unless Im misinterpreting that exception. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure NOW this is getting truly ridiculous. I have planned a wedding event with one sim for a later day and time. Than switched to her future husband to play with him till the wedding time. Guess what, the wedding wasn't in his calendar and when the time came NOTHING happened. This wouldn't be an issue of course if selecting guests in the Wedding Event Planner wasn't broken - because there would not bea necessity to switch family in the first place. Publish songs, books, video games, apps, etc. What happens when the bug occurs? I do not receive any Royalties. What do you expect to see? Receive royalties. Neutral/Not Sure I've published many books, video documentaries, video games, apps, songs, and receive no royalties from any of them. One of my sims was a mermaid, until I read online that mermaids have problems receiving royalties and I turned her human again. She still does not receive royalties and neither does my normal human sim who has completed apps and video games, and a book. I used to live in Sulani and moved to the realm of magic world, but have not received any royalties since the start of my game.
