Open your game then press the spanner and go to download preferences.This will give your ID,take a screenshot.You will need this to retrieve your account.Then press help.This will take you to a form to fill in .Go under the header of missing content and don’t forget to include the screenshot of your ID.A case will be created and EA will get back to you via email.It may take a while. I am a player in the Vietnam region and my situation seems to be worse. Last night, after paying for the Bundle Details, I played a few Arena matches, and the game lagged. I decided to re-download the game and when connecting to GG Play Game the player data was completely refreshed, I am sure that email is still used to play the game. I searched for help through everyone's answers, I followed the instructions and send pictures as well as the most recent payment but I'm not sure if the PVZ2 ID is original or changed new. I've also been playing for 3 years so it would be sad if I couldn't recover my account.
Did you sign up to EA's email registration scheme?
If you did you can download a code to recover your account and it only takes a few minutes.
You really need the original player id number because there are probably millions of accounts backed up in their servers, if you have it then you should be able to get it back, if you don't then there's nothing you can do except show them screenshots of receipts for what you bought so they can add them to your account.

I signed up with EA's email, support contacted me at 8am this morning, they asked for the name on profile and player ID, they promised that if I connected my account with GG Play Game it would be sure. progress will be restored soon. I have attached the most recent payment receipt and am waiting for the results from them.

If you signed up to the email support scheme BEFORE your account disappeared then you should be able to do it yourself (make sure there isn't a blank space after the email address because autofil adds one).
If you signed up AFTER then they will download whatever they find matching the player id number you gave them.
I signed up before my account disappeared but I don't know how to restore it myself. Can you give me specific instructions?
Go to the loading screen then tap the little white cloud in the bottom left corner.
Tap on register email button.
Enter the email address you used to register (no blank space after) then press confirm.
They should send you a code then enter it and verify.

So I never put in my email when I played because I didn't know you chould to do that and my storage for my iPhone was getting full so the dealted my plant vs zombies 2 and I spent over 100$ on the game and I can't get back in and btw what's the spanner?
I have the same problem right now! The thing is I can't get log into my email that I had used to store the game on the cloud. I updated my email address info. and didn't do the same in my PV2 account. I've been playing 3+ years now.
