Re: Suddenly i can’t sign into pogo on my ipad or iphone

Hey there, everyone. Thank you for your patience while we looked into this.

I received word back from the Pogo team and iOS 12 is no longer supported, which is why the login is looping for you. If your device supports it, please make sure to install iOS 13 or iOS 14 to continue playing on Pogo.

    Hey there, @davolake.

If you can't see iOS 13 or iOS 14 in your update options, I would reach out to Apple support to see if it's an option to update to iOS 13.

I have an iPad mini2 which cannot support higher than iOS 12.4.9.  Tell EA to offer a version for users with iOS 12 so we don’t have to look for other gaming alternatives.  Let us have access to a heritage version so we can use our still active iPads!,

That's a disappointment because I'm not going out to buy a new ipad. I can use it just fine for other sites so not sure why pogo is unable to be supported by it. It worked fine for me using the ios 12 version I have prior to the sudden redirect loop. Since my ipad is older I'm unable to upgrade to ios 13. Thanks for the updates and info though.

That is an unacceptable answer. A lot of us here have hung on through all of the painful transitions with flash, EA transition etc. only to be told that an older iPad  (of which there are millions worldwide) is no longer supported. No notice was given in advance. Letting the engineers bypass customer service is not the best way to run a business.

Is EA trying to lighten its subscription base? This is is certainly a good way to do it.

  • What I find interesting is that I can still play games.  IOS 12.something isn't the problem.  It's someone at EA who believes that I have to buy new equipment to login.  WRONG.  Even if IOS 12.something doesn't support some of the games, why can't I play the ones that are OK as an EA member.
