Re: Request: New Merchandise? Please?

@imaPetalheadWeird how the series has made so much money (i believe you also stated it made 500 million in revenue in 2021 alone) and has so many characters and cosmetics yet we still only have the old and early pvz 1, 2, and every early gw2 merch which barely exists anymore. You think the kids who are pvz's primary audience would eat that stuff up? Shout out to the guy in my 11th grade class with a gw2 shirt years back.

I always thought the bobbleheads in gw2 whould've made amazing collectables irl. Weird opportunity to miss out on over the weird zoologist and gatling bot figures.

The old funko pop superbrainz was something i wanted to find but never could find where I lived. Shame as it seems like it would've fit the characters well designwise.

Pvz is in such a weird spot culturally. It's made millions alongside millions of players across half a dozen games but it has hardly any real world merch from what i've seen and people don't actively talk about outside of the tired "EA bad" "EA ruined it" complaint which at this point :

Maybe if the project hot tub game released it would've drawn more interest into the series for mech since it seemed to be more character focused.

A lot of those toys stopped existing because the license to PvZ expired with the companies they collaborated to make those. PopCap never renewed it for some reason.

@imaPetalheadI really want to know what the heck is going on with modern popcap as a post from the subreddit about 2 years ago painted it in pretty bad shape with a lot of incompetent management and much worse which considering everything is probably true.

Good or bad this lack of more frequent communication is driving everyone crazy. We have people talking simply about the fact that the announcements in pvz heroes changed for christmas and that immediatly became the famdom news of the last few days on twitter.

I miss the high point days of pvz.

I would like to own Plants vs Zombies merchandise but I have never seen any around before. Considering how popular the franchise is, I thought they would be more popular and easier to find. Even when looking online, I only find Plants vs Zombies items (apart from the games) rarely. I'm really surprised that they aren't more commonly seen.
