  • Sadly, this didn't fix the issue.  As I write this I'm on my 3rd attempt to load into a server...

One thing to note - is that when loading up a map the yellow spinning circle thing in the bottom right corner hangs ever couple seconds at random.  When it stops moving the music in the background also pauses... like the loading is hiccuping.  Not sure if that's with everyone or just me...  But maybe that's part of the problem.

    Hi @b----Sarek----d

1.Ensure that your Firewall and/or Antivirus are not blocking the connection. The easiest way would be adding an exception for the Origin Client.
You need to do this add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports http://help.ea.com/en/article/connection-issues-with-origin/#1

2.And make sure your internet connection is not running through a proxy.Go to Internet Options in Control Panel  check the Connections tab and make sure the proxy server is not checked.

3.Then you need to go in Origin /  My Games-right click on the game icon Star Wars:Battlefront select Game Properties, and tick disable Origin In Game .

4.Restart Origin again- go in Origin / My Games tab, right click on game icon select Repair Game and Check for Updates.

Now start the game and see if your issue persist.🤔

i gott the same problem to on my ps4 , when i whant to invite a partner EA disconects , matchmaking never find a server , i put all the TCP and UDP of EA and Star wars , and the gett the same problem , please help and sorry 4 my bad eng

  • Problem still exists, but doesn't seem to be as bad.  I'm guessing it's a combination of things causing this issue which is why I can't seem to get rid of it.  I seem to be able to get into a few more games as of late.  We will see what happens when the update comes in a few weeks.  Cheers!

I'm closing this thread to stop it being necroed.

If you have any issues with Star Wars: Battlefront please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve it.
