Battlefront takes forever to startup and when it does it is broken.

My system is definetly sufficient for this game (FX8350 CPU, R9390 GPU, 16GB RAM) but when I go to startup the game it takes about 5 minutes to even appear as a window but then when it does appear there are no words, only boxes where the words should be and it will not allow me to play and game modes at all, even single player.  I have tried to use the "Repair game" function twice now and restarted my system many times.

    Clear Origin cache and for this you get a perfectly detailed post from @EA_Nils >>http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/my-origin-will-not-update-my-sims-4/m-p/4721983#M163410

    Restart your machine .

    You need to perform a Clean Boot: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

    Spoiler
    -you need to press the key combination: “Windows Key + R”;
    In the “Run” window, type the message “msconfig” without quotes;
    -you need to left click on the “OK” button;
    Select “General” tab, from the toolbar and chose the feature called “Selective startup”;
    -uncheck the box found in the left of the message: “ Load startup items”;
    Select “Service” tab, from the toolbar;
    -check the box in the left of message: “Hide all Microsoft services”;
    Left click on the “Disable all” button, found on the lower-right side of the window;
    Left click on the “OK” button;
    -a new message box will prompt on your display. Left click on the “Restart” button in order to restart your operating system.

    NOTE save any open files and close all programs before restarting your computer.

     Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights  http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2

    Then go in Origin / My Games tab-right click on game icon Star Wars:Battlefront select Repair Game and then Check for Updates and now start game.

    I may have found the problem. I seem to have origin installed on my SSD boot drive and AGAIN on my 1TB drive, SW battlefront is installed on the SSD bootdrive as well and this might be cause of interference, but I am not certain

    @nerfherder2000  most likely this is the problem.😉

    You must delete the game in one of the locations  and i think you should be fine.🙂
