- That is good as long as the game is good. I guess we will see tomorrow! 🙂 🙂

- Well i was going to preorder this but after all the flak from the wife about "what no female?" guess i wont. She was so excited for a single player game...now....well if i play it will be when she is not home.
Not really asking for a character creator, more like a gender swap of the main character. The female version of Cal.

You should maybe be prepared for a let down.
I'm just happy EA are actually getting off their collective butts and doing "something" more with the Star Wars license. The upside is when that comes to an end hopefully a more reputable publisher will pick up the rights and run with it

@Algebra_SummerDisney wants everything to be cannon so you will never ever get to choose your character in any SW game anytime soon.

I mean, overall, i wouldn't care if the protagonist of this game was a woman....i really wouldn't care, not sure why some women have a problem with the character being a man, i guess they are the man hating type of women?
Anyway, i would never tell my other half what she could and couldn't do just because i didn't like it and i wouldn't let her dislike of something prevent me from buying it and playing it....if she made that much of a deal about it, it would show me her true character.
I would prefer the option of being male or female in these type of games, but its not a deal breaker to be just a male or a female.
Not really kidding, my wife has been married to a generic white guy for 22 years, why should she have to play one? and why human? Lot of games today give you at least a choice of "the brother or the sister". Going by her reaction , and the fact she no longer wants to play it, I think the lack of choice is going to alienate (pardon the pun) a lot of otherwise potential players.

I mean sure, choice is a good thing, but its not a deal breaker when its not in it.
- budzai6 years agoSeasoned Ace@JunkyardWolf I pity you.

If being married to a great woman for 22 years get me ypur pity, you can pity me all you like.

Sorry, but if my other half expected me to not buy a game because it doesn't have a female option is when i would question the relationship and i would expect the same thing if i did the same to her....in fact i would likely get much more flak for it than she would.
Overall, if you want to play the game, buy the game and play it.

Its like, i wouldn't care if the main character of this game was a woman, black, white, makes no difference to me, all that matters to me in video games is story quality and game quality.
