Duel Mode 1 vs. 1

I think it will be nice to have ranked/unranked 1vs1 game mode. Sometimes you just want to put your dueling skill to the test, or your gaming buddies are offline while you still want to have some fun with Squadrons. I know it is team-based game, but a decent 1 vs 1 mode will be a nice refreshment after playing hundreds doggys and fleet battles. Suggested conditions: 10 points to win (standard 30 is a bit too long for a duel), 10 seconds respawn time. Starting points should be responsive to alive player's current position to avoid spawn-killing. It would be nice to have it ranked, but even unranked it will be a lot of fun. Initially, matchmaking should be based on the dogfight statistics. Later on, when people will spend more time in this mode (and thus get some stats), it should get its own matchmaking. Technically, it is possible to acheve something similar via custom games but 1) only a fraction of SW:S community checks custom games on regular basis 2) In current form, customs serve mainly for forming up fixed-teams team vs. team games. 1 vs.1 duel mode is totally different story  - and I think the game needs it.

And by the way -  please, add some auxiliary communication system to the game! Using "team chat" bound under "y" key is like trying to eat soup with a fork. At least allow ppl to write double amount of text it allows now, and add an option to message  buddies from your friend list after clicking their name. Several times I met some buddies exactly on my skill level, we had a great fun flying togeher, but total lack of abiliy to communicate killed 90% of the immersion. It really has strong negative impact on the gameplay.  Not everyone likes to use voice, and 100% of the players who do (from the ppl I know) use third-party programs for voice comm, so built-in voice system is not the answer. Somtimes you just need to write a full phrase or two, for example to point a new player to good youtube tutorials or clan sites, and doing | that in | several divided | lines  is | a real | NIGHTMARE.
