Exactly.
As you can see on the screenshot, there should be an X button available for "Aprender" (learn skill).
(Translating: Square - See Skill / Circle: Return)
And when I try to press X anyway, the icon turns red

@ravenchants, hmm, have you tried to repair the game via Origin?

Maybe also a very strange potential workaround, but can you maybe check if you can change the language of the game to English and try it again?

If this is not an option in-game, it should be an option via Origin: right-click on the game tile, choose Advanced options, on the right tab you should be able to change the language.

If this is also not an option; please make a copy of the save files (C:/Users/YourName/Saved Games/Respawn/JediFallenOrder), remove the game & install in English if possible.

Turns out I was just being stupid. Didn't notice some of the skills require 2 skill points to be bought lol.
It's working properly, just probably some bad UI. The requirement text could be, maybe, better placed
