Upon death in fleet battles using an Oculus Rift CV1, the game performance severely degrades and the entire system is affected. Before the start of the kill cam rendition, everything slows down and becomes laggy and extremely choppy. The game becomes unplayable. When observing task manager during this occurrence, system memory spikes up when this bug happens. This system slowdown is also reflected through Discord, where users report hearing very choppy and robot-like sounds coming from my microphone when I try to speak. Alt-tabbing out of the game and alt-tabbing back in removes the lag. This bug is able to be replicated, as when I die after fixing it, the entire system lags again. This bug happens every time I die during fleet battles. The game runs fine and this bug does not occur when playing or dying in dogfights.
