Can't gain xp from combat

Summarize your bug I can no longer gain xp. At some point during the late game, my character no longer gets xp from fights. I can get xp from getting collectibles that reward you a skill point, but after every boss and mob fight the xp bar that usually shows up at the top post-fight doesn't show up and it never increases.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know when it happened. In a different forum, others who have had this issue said they suspect it was after dying from the Mogu fight and never getting the xp restore when you attack the enemy that killed you. My issue happened somewhere around the Cere fight, i suspect. Or after getting enough to add 6 perk slots.
What happens when the bug occurs? after you kill anything, you dont get xp. it has stalled.
What do you expect to see? I'm just hoping to gain xp. It would be nice to have actually gained the potential xp post-vader fight to the end, but there's really no point in me playing the post-story stuff. Thanks!
Love the game. Had a few bugs while playing but nothing game-breaking until now.
PS the other bug was I stayed as Cere post-vader fight. You can imagine my confusion when Cere was holding Cere's dead body and Cal's voice was coming from her emotionally blank stare 🙂
also I took out all of my perks and it still does the same thing
