Not sure about some of the things you mention, but I think the circle thing is due to a card they are carrying that makes it difficult to get a target on them. Like Poe's ferrosphere card.
A similar thing to the pulling explosions is when two friendly ships are occupying the same space. It seems one (or maybe both) get bumped, and it's like you teleport, or massively change direction. Very annoying.
They fixed a couple of "invisible objects", but there are still some bad hitboxes, like inside the resurgent in Unknown regions. One thing that I realized is that some things have these fine antennae sticking down from them, and they are easy to hit without seeing them, like under the bunker busters, and around the buildings on kamino. But sometimes I have a collision death and I have no idea what I hit.
